| DeSANTIS VS. WOKE BASEBALL Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-FL, on Friday vetoed $3.1 billion in spending from a $109.9 billion budget bill. A portion of the funds he vetoed were slated to pay for a sports complex which the Tampa Bay Rays would have used as a training facility. According to OutKick, DeSantis made the decision in response to the Rays’ public calls for gun control after recent shootings. | BIDEN BORDER STRATEGY FAILING The Biden administration announced over a year ago that it would address the border crisis by solving its "root causes" with aid to Central America. | RACIAL GRADING SYSTEM The Defense of Freedom Institute filed a civil rights complaint with the Department of Education against the Oak Park and River Forest school district in Illinois after the district’s only high school announced it would adopt new grading rules to change outcomes based on students’ skin color. “[The district] seeks to implement a race-based grading policy that not only violates the Constitution and civil rights law but also harms the very students it is intended to help,” wrote Defense of Freedom Institute President Robert Eitel. If I were playing the sick game the Democrats are, I would want the citizens disarmed.
