Salvation Prayer

When Satan Points his finger at you. Accuses you of every foul and disgusting sin you ever committed. what will you do as you stand before our Lord and King Christ Jesus? Will Jesus know your name. Will Jesus know your voice from hearing your continual prayers. Will Jesus Judge you from the books of works written of all the deeds of those who refused to hear and except his name on purpose. Or will our Lord and King, Intercessor between God the Father and all mankind go to the 

Book of Life. 

God has given us the wonderful and yet expensive gift of Free-Will. Yes it is real and it does exist.You must choose, This world system and all that comes with it, or except the sacrifice of our Christ Jesus on The Cross. Understand Salvation and the Price Jesus paid for our Sin. The sin that caused separation between God and man in the first place. For it was man that Forsake God. God to this day and forever more will never forsake mankind. It was our sin that caused this separation.  

Mankind as a whole will not admit this terrible deed.

It was and still it remains, "Our  Fault"

Would you like to know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Would you like to be saved from all that is about to come? Would you like to be a part of the soon rapture of the church to live with Jesus in his awesome universe and heavenly paradise forever? It is not a mistake that you came here. In fact Jesus wants to be your Savior and He loves you so much that He died on the cross for you others who chose to come to Him. He died in your place. It doesn't matter what you had done, all are welcome to come who are ready to repent of their sins and follow Jesus, desiring for Him to be their Lord and Savior. Dear Jesus, 

I know I am a sinner. I pray that you will forgive me for all of my sins, that you will come into my heart and be my Lord, the savior of my life. I confess that you died on the cross to save me from my sins and I am committed to turning away from those sins. I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I can be born again. I ask that you give me the strength and abundant faith to overcome any and all attacks by the enemy, including my desire to sin so that I may serve you completely. I pray that you will give me discernment so that I may know all things that are truth, and the knowledge acquired from reading your Word. Use me this day as I am a willing vessel Lord, in leading others to your kingdom. Wash me as white as snow. Put a hedge of protection around me as I go forth in doing your will. Thank you Jesus for saving me, as I know that only through my faith in you that all this is possible. Amen

Houston Cuts Power and Leaves Jewish Congregation in the Dark

Hanukkah—the Jewish Festival of Lights—is set to begin on Dec. 7. But ahead of this important religious holiday, a small Orthodox Jewish congregation in Houston, Texas is fighting to get its electricity turned back on.

This week, our attorneys filed for a temporary restraining order against Houston city officials after they refused to restore power to our clients, Heimish of Houston.

“The city’s actions are punitive and unfair,” said Ryan Gardner, Senior Counsel for First Liberty Institute. “The city’s refusal to cooperate with Heimish has substantially burdened this small congregation’s free exercise of their religion as they are left to worship in the dark and cold in the middle of the winter with major religious festivals like Hanukkah just around the corner.”

Heimish of Houston has been meeting in a home near its congregants for several years. Its members are limited to holding religious gatherings in their communities and within walking distance because their religious beliefs prevent them from driving on the Sabbath.

Recently, the congregation suffered a significant malfunction of its electrical equipment that resulted in a loss of power to its property. The city, however, has refused to issue the necessary permit to restore their electricity. Why? Because Heimish was “red-flagged” due to some minor repairs and beautification projects.

Although Heimish of Houston is working to address the issues, the lack of electrical power to the synagogue in the meantime is preventing its ability to conduct religious ceremonies at its place of worship. What’s more, the process of rectifying and addressing the permitting issues will take more than 30 days. However, Hanukkah begins on Dec. 7 and without power, the congregation will not be able to host its annual celebration and ceremony.

This isn’t the first time First Liberty has stepped in to defend this congregation. In recent years, the city repeatedly showed antagonism towards Heimish’s use of its residential property for religious purposes.

In 2020, the city attempted to shut down Heimish’s use of its property through the selective enforcement of a deed restriction. First Liberty filed a federal lawsuit arguing the city’s actions were discriminatory and unlawful. We pointed out that the city was clearly treating Hemish more harshly, as many other businesses and houses of worship operated in the same neighborhoods, including a rehab house, a Ghanaian church, a hair salon, and more. In 2021, we secured a victory for Heimish when the city abandoned its enforcement efforts.

Houston’s actions toward Heimish are illegal. Federal and state laws robustly protect houses of worship from unreasonable government interference with their religious exercise.

Refusing to restore power to a house of worship ahead of a major religious holiday is wrong. Religious discrimination of this kind should not happen in America. City officials should do what’s right and allow the lights to be turned back on so this Jewish community can worship in peace.

The Biden administration granted Qatar major non-NATO ally status in 2022. However, concerns persist regarding Qatar's support for Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, and its hosting of Hamas. The Biden administration's praise for Qatar's efforts is seen by skeptics as a potential endorsement of the nation's questionable alliances, raising concerns about the clarity and consistency of U.S. counterterrorism policies. Stop Qatar’s Bankrolling and Hosting of Terrorist Organizations! The recent hostage negotiations have put Qatar in a precarious position, attempting to mediate while avoiding condemnation for its association with Hamas. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatar's ruling emir, has not shied away from making provocative statements against Israel's backers, accusing them of providing a "free license to kill." Such rhetoric, while resonating with anti-Israel sentiments in the Arab world, raises questions about Qatar's commitment to impartial mediation and its potential role in escalating tensions in the already volatile region. At the forefront of these concerns is Qatar's historical support for groups designated as terrorists by the West. The gas-rich emirate has long-standing ties with Hamas, hosting its political office in Doha for over a decade. Prominent Hamas figures like Khaled Mashaal and Ismail Haniyeh, both sanctioned by the U.S., find refuge in Qatar, casting a shadow over the nation's commitment to global counterterrorism efforts. Qatar is reported to be the main funder of major Islamic terrorist organizations including Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, al-Qaeda, and the Al-Nusra front facilitating an annual turnover of $1 billion, while also providing billions of dollars to American universities and think tanks.   Qatar's significant financial support for Hamas, estimated at approximately $360 million annually since 2021, surpasses Iran's contributions. This funding, coupled with a safe haven in Qatar, comparable to Turkey, for Hamas operation leaders where they have even coordinated and planned attacks in previous years, underscores this duplicitous relationship. Despite being a major non-NATO ally of the United States, Qatar's support for Hamas extends beyond financing to include state-sponsored media, notably through Al Jazeera, furthering Hamas's cause, and global support. Qatar-funded Al Jazeera's dissemination of anti-Israel rhetoric raises questions about its commitment to the alliance. In addition to Qatar's relationship with Hamas, its broader pattern of supporting destabilizing movements, exemplified by its historical ties and domiciling of a figure like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of 9/11, and the Afghan Taliban during the insurgency, underscores a strategic concern for the United States. Qatar's strategic importance to the United States, highlighted by the Al-Udeid Air Base hosting the forward headquarters of the U.S. military's Central Command, introduces an additional layer of complexity. It facilitated the US-Taliban talks that led to the 2020 Doha Agreement and was critical in evacuation operations, airlifting thousands of foreign troops and civilians out of Afghanistan in mid-2021. While Qatar's role in facilitating the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan was pivotal (evacuating nearly 40% of all evacuees), questions arise about the extent to which the U.S. is willing to overlook Qatar's controversial associations in pursuit of its strategic interests.  As a non-NATO ally hosting the largest US air base in the region, Al Udeid, the US holds significant leverage to challenge Qatar's support for terrorism and destabilization, emphasizing the need for a reassessment of this behavior given Qatar's reliance on the American relationship for protection and strategic interests.
