Knife Attack Targets Children’s Party, Multiple Casualties

Two children were murdered and several others injured during a mass stabbing attack at a children’s center in Merseyside, England, that was hosting a child’s Taylor Swift-themed dance party.

Police arrived at the scene of the crime, a children’s center on Hart Street in Southport, at 11:47 a.m. on Monday after receiving a call that a knife-wielding criminal had carried out an attack at the summer holiday party for kids.

It was initially reported that one child was killed during the attack, but a press conference from Merseyside Police chief Constable Serena Kennedy revealed that as of Monday evening, two children had died from stab wounds. Nine other children were injured, with six still in critical condition as of Monday evening.

The police chief praised two adults who had been injured during the attack, as their injuries happened while they were “bravely trying to protect the children.”

She noted during the press conference that law enforcement on the scene “were shocked to find that multiple people, many of whom were children, had been subjected to a ferocious attack and had suffered serious injuries.”

“It is understood that the children were attending a Taylor Swift event at a dance school when the offender, armed with a knife, walked into the premises and started to attack the children. We believe that the adults who were injured were bravely trying to protect the children who were being attacked,” Kennedy continued, claiming: “the investigation is in its early stages and the motivation for the incident remains unclear, however, counter-terrorism police Northwest have offered their support to Merseyside Police as the full circumstances of what had happened are being established. At this moment in time the investigation is not being treated as terrorist-related.”

It is unclear who perpetrated the attack, although comments from police follow a similar pattern of refusal to acknowledge crimes committed by migrants or the children of migrants. Merseyside Police reported that they had charged a 17-year-old male suspect “originally from Cardiff” with murder and attempted murder. Typically, the woke government of the U.K. refuses to identify the race or other identifying characteristics about the suspect when they are not white Europeans. If the criminal was a Muslim migrant or the child of a Muslim migrant, the police typically report the name of the city the migrant currently resides in, or simply say “South Asian.”

Vance slams 9/11 plea deal during rally: 'Need a president who kills terrorists, not negotiates with them' The Republican vice presidential candidate said the decision by prosecutors was 'ridiculous, but not surprising' Stepheny Price By Stepheny Price Fox News Published July 31, 2024 11:56pm EDT

During a campaign speech Wednesday in Glendale, Arizona, Trump campaign vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance slammed the plea deal taken by three of the terrorists behind the Sept. 11 terror attacks awaiting trial in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.

"Just today, I heard that the Biden-Harris Department of Justice cut a deal with al-Qaeda terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed to avoid the death penalty. It was reported today," Vance said. "Now, as someone who enlisted in the Marines to serve after 9/11, that is ridiculous. But it's not surprising."

On Wednesday, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced the Convening Authority for Military Commissions, Susan Escallier, entered into pretrial agreements with Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin 'Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi.

The Ohio Republican continued and called out the Biden-Harris administration, who he said "has been a disaster for our country all over the world."

"Now, just think about the point that we've gotten to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, have weaponized the Department of Justice to go after their political opponents, but they're cutting a sweetheart deal with 9/11 terrorists,"  Vance said. "We need a president who kills terrorists, not negotiates with them."

9/11 MASTERMIND, 2 OTHERS STRIKE PLEA DEALS WHILE AWAITING TRIAL; FAMILIES OF VICTIMS 'VERY DISAPPOINTED'

House Speaker Mike Johnson also condemned the prosecutors' decision, stating that the Biden-Harris Administration has done the "unthinkable."

"23 years ago, America watched in horror as thousands of innocent Americans died. America mourned for weeks afterwards as first responders sifted through the ashes at Ground Zero, at the Pentagon, and at the crash site in Shanksville. For more than two decades, the families of those murdered by these terrorists have waited for justice. This plea deal is a slap in the face of those families. They deserved better from the Biden-Harris Administration," Johnson wrote in a post on X.

The terms and conditions of the plea deals were not disclosed, but the terror suspects will be spared the death penalty, three relatives of 9/11 victims were told by the Office of Military Commissions (OMC), the New York Post reported.

The attacks killed nearly 3,000 people in the worst terror attack on U.S. soil in American history. Loved ones of the victims expressed outrage upon hearing news of the deal.

VENEZUELAN PRESIDENT NICOLAS MADURO CLAIMS ELECTION VICTORY, REFUSES TO PUBLISH RESULTS

In September, President Biden rejected a plea deal that would have excused the 9/11 architects and co-conspirators from potentially facing the death penalty.

Vance also gave other examples of the Biden-Harris administration weaknesses, linking Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro re-election, which he is widely believed to have fraudulently won Sunday's election, ensuring him another six-year term.

"Now, there are so many examples we could talk about, but recent news comes out of Venezuela that they cut a deal with a dictator in Venezuela, and they offered in exchange that that dictator would have free and fair elections," Vance said. "And shocker, the Kamala Harris administration doesn't know anything about free and fair elections."

"So they're coddling dictators all over the world. We need to bring back American strength. And that means bring it back, Donald J. Trump, as president of the United States."

California Gave Driver’s License To Illegal Migrant Arrested For Deadly Carjacking Of Grandmother

California Gave Driver’s License To Illegal Migrant Arrested For Deadly Carjacking Of Grandmother

An illegal migrant who was arrested for allegedly stealing a woman’s vehicle and then killing her with it in northern Virginia on Sunday was given a driver’s license by the state of California.

Jose Aguilar-Martinez is suspected of stealing a vehicle belonging to Melody Waldecker, a 54-year-old grandmother to eight, as she stepped into a local 7-Eleven in Sterling, Virginia, ultimately running her over and killing her when she attempted to stop the crime, according to NBC4. Aguilar-Martinez is a Salvadoran national with no fixed address but was able to obtain a California driver’s license before his alleged involvement in the fatal carjacking incident, according to a press release by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

“This is a horrific tragedy, and we mourn the death of Melody Waldecker as the result of the heinous actions by a suspect in our nation illegally,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said in a statement Wednesday. “This is another reminder of why it is essential that localities collaborate with our federal counterparts charged with enforcing U.S. immigration laws.”

The Salvadoran national was arraigned on the carjacking charge on Tuesday, and Loudoun County Commonwealth’s attorney is expected to file more charges, according to the sheriff’s office. He remains in the county’s custody under no bond.

Aguilar-Martinez unlawfully entered the U.S. on an unknown date and unknown location, ICE confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation. The agency lodged an immigration detainer for the 21-year-old Salvadoran national on Monday with the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, requesting they eventually transfer custody of him to their deportation officers.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office emphasized on Wednesday that it cooperates with federal immigration authorities “as a matter of practice,” nearly ensuring that their office will honor the detainer request on Aguilar-Martinez. Since fiscal year 2023 to date, ICE issued 479 detainers for noncitizens arrested in Loudoun County for criminal offenses, resulting in the deportation of nearly 100 of them, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

California has offered driver’s licenses to illegal migrants since January 2015, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. A total of 19 states and the District of Columbia have enacted laws that allow noncitizens living in the country unlawfully to obtain driver’s licenses.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom doubled down on the state’s policy by signing AB 1766, referred to as the “CA ID for All” bill, into law in 2022 that allows illegal migrants who are not drivers to obtain identification cards.

Providing licenses to illegal migrants remains a controversial issue. When New York State’s “Green Light Law” went into effect in 2019, allowing illegal migrants to obtain driver’s licenses, numerous county clerks said they would refuse to comply, citing safety concerns.

Then-acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf ordered the Department of Homeland Security in 2020 to conduct a large-scale review of state laws that allow migrants to obtain licenses.

“Laws like New York’s greenlight law have dangerous consequences that have far reaches beyond the DMV,” a DHS spokesperson said at the time of Wolf’s order. “These types of laws make it easier for terrorists and criminals to obtain fraudulent documents and also prevent DHS investigators from accessing important records that help take down child pornography and human trafficking rings and combat everything from terrorism to drug smuggling.”

The California governor’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the DCNF.
