Sorry Atheists, But Stats Show That Christian Faith Is STILL Alive And Well
As 'new atheism' fades like a passing fad, Christian faith is now surging!

If COVIDictators thought that forcing churches to close would be sticking that final fork in Christianity that the Dawkins types were so desperate to celebrate… well, don’t pop any corks just yet.
That dream isn’t just a long way off. It’s receding into the distance. If anything, it’s the infamous Four Horsemen of Atheism, not traditional Christian belief that are poised to become a minor footnote in history. For all the hype and hoopla of the rise of triumphalist anti-theists just a few short years ago, that movement has more or less run out of gas.
Christianity, meanwhile, is once again on the rise.
Now it’s all well and good for a local pastor to claim he’s seeing ‘revival’ breaking out. But it’s not unreasonable to expect that if there’s some kind of a real change to be had, there will be some kind of evidence to back it up… right?
And there is. It’s not just a dry Pew Research Poll, either… it’s a far more rubber-meets-the-road kind of metric. It’s the kind of metric that tracks more active participants in the christian living, rather then who does or doesn’t affirm a set of beliefs. Judge for yourself:
Bible sales? Bible app use? Christian music streaming?
All of these are up since 2019 or 2022.
This is AFTER we heard doom-sayers warning that people had stopped going to church and were never going back.
It’s almost like Jesus, when he said that ‘he would build his church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it’, he might have meant what he said.
And if you think THOSE numbers are good? Wait until you see the growth of the Christian Church in Iran!
A headline from 2023 told us, ‘Good News from Iran: A Million New Christian Believers’, and that’s happening at the same time that mosques there are as deserted as some once-grand cathedrals in the West.
It’s easy to see this or that crisis brewing and think that’s the entire story of the world. Such stories are told, mainly because it’s the points of tension and conflict that tend to define the boundaries of normative culture, so the tend to grab our attention.
But God is quietly on the move in this country, even as social media and headlines might tempt us to believe the worst.
In the words of an old, familiar hymn ‘though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet’.
The reminders fill the world, pointing heavenward from all around us.
This IS my Father’s World.
(Oh let me ne’er forget.)
