Bongino Vows FBI Overhaul Amid January 6 Pipe Bomb Cover-Up Claims

Dan Bongino
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino’s controversial claims about the January 6 pipe bombs being an “inside job” have ignited a firestorm of debate across America. The unresolved pipe bomb case continues to fuel conspiracy theories while raising serious questions about accountability within law enforcement. What evidence supports or contradicts Bongino’s claim that the pipe bomber’s identity is known to the FBI?

Bongino’s Explosive Claims About January 6

Dan Bongino, newly appointed as FBI Deputy Director, has repeatedly claimed on his podcast that the FBI was complicit in planting pipe bombs around Washington before the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. “I believe the FBI knows the identity of this pipe bomber on January 6th, four years ago, and just doesn’t wanna tell us ’cause it was an inside job,” Bongino stated on his show, which ranks among the most popular on Apple Podcast charts.

The former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer has accused the FBI of corruption, specifically suggesting they doctored surveillance footage of the pipe bomb suspect. His conspiracy theories about the “deep state” have gained significant traction in conservative circles, with Bongino even suggesting that if confirmed as an inside job, the FBI might attempt to cover it up as a “training exercise gone wrong.”

FBI Leadership Transformation Under Trump

President Trump’s selection of Bongino to serve alongside incoming FBI Director Kash Patel represents a significant shift in FBI leadership, placing two outspoken MAGA figures in charge of the bureau. A White House spokesperson celebrated the appointment, stating: “President Trump brilliantly selected Dan Bongino—a highly-qualified former NYPD police officer and U.S. Secret Service agent—as the next Deputy Director of the FBI.”

Both Bongino and Patel have publicly criticized the FBI and promoted various conspiracy theories about the January 6 events, including the unsolved pipe bomb case. The FBI has declined to comment on Bongino’s past statements about the pipe bombs, while Bongino himself did not respond to media inquiries about his previous claims.

Unresolved Questions About the Pipe Bombs

The pipe bombs, allegedly planted at both the Republican National Committee and Democratic National Committee headquarters the day before the Capitol riot, remain an unsolved case that has fueled numerous conspiracy theories. A Department of Homeland Security report released in 2024 revealed then Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was dangerously close to one of the pipe bombs near the DNC headquarters, raising serious questions about the security response.

Bongino’s skepticism of the FBI reportedly began in May 2017 after a special counsel was appointed to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election. He has since published books alleging an anti-Trump cabal within government agencies and has positioned himself as a vocal critic of what he characterizes as corrupt federal law enforcement, a stance that makes his appointment to FBI leadership particularly notable.

Trump Drops Zelenskyy Bomb by Anastasia Boushee March 2, 2025

Trump Drops Zelenskyy Bomb

President Donald Trump sent Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy packing on Friday, canceling a planned press conference because Zelenskyy was clearly “not ready for Peace if America is involved.”

Trump sent Zelenskyy home after an incredibly tense Oval Office meeting on February 28, where the Ukrainian president repeatedly disrespected the president, along with Vice President JD Vance, and the White House. During the meeting, Trump and Vance chastised Zelenskyy for his rude behavior, pointing out that he was acting ungrateful.

Trump issued a statement about the decision, writing: “We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.”

“It’s amazing what comes out through emotion, and I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for Peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations,” the president added. “I don’t want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he is ready for Peace.”

Zelenskyy left the White House after a fiery Oval Office meeting where he was supposed to be finalizing a mineral deal between the U.S. and Ukraine. Because of Zelenskyy’s behavior, he left without signing the deal.

“Do you think that it’s respectful to come to the Oval Office of the United States of America and attack the administration that is trying to prevent the destruction of your country?” Vance asked the Ukrainian president. “Right now you guys are going around and forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems.

“You should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict,” the VP added, noting that Zelenskyy was “forcing conscripts to the front lines because you have manpower problems.”

“During war, everybody has problems, even you, but you have a nice ocean and don’t feel now, but you will feel it in the future,” Zelensky responded.

“You don’t know that,” Trump fired back, cutting in as Zelenskyy repeatedly to try to interrupt. “Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel. … You’re in no position to dictate what we are going to feel. We are going to feel very good. … You’re right now not in a very good position. You’ve allowed yourself to be in a very bad position and [Vance] happens to be right about it.”

“You don’t have the cards right now,” Trump continued. “With us you start having cards. You’re gambling with the lives of millions of people. You’re gambling with World War III, and what you’re doing is very disrespectful to the country.”

Vance then chimed in to ask whether Zelenskyy had even tried to say “thank you” to the U.S. at all during the meeting.

“You went to Pennsylvania and campaigned for the opposition in October,” he added. “Offer some words of appreciation to the United States of America and the president who is trying to save your country.”

Bongino and Patel Take Over FBI Amid Controversy Over January 6 Theories

Dan Bongino
Dan Bongino has made waves with his controversial claims that the January 6 pipe bombs were part of an “inside job” orchestrated by the FBI itself. Bongino brings his deep skepticism of federal law enforcement to one of the nation’s top security positions. How might Bongino and Patel’s leadership reshape FBI priorities and investigations?

Bongino’s Controversial Claims and New Role

Dan Bongino, the incoming FBI Deputy Director, stated on his podcast earlier this year that the FBI was complicit in planting pipe bombs near the DNC and RNC headquarters before the January 6 Capitol riot. “I believe the FBI knows the identity of this pipe bomber on January 6th, four years ago, and just doesn’t wanna tell us ’cause it was an inside job,” Bongino declared, making the extraordinary claim about the agency he’s now poised to help lead.

The former Secret Service agent and NYPD officer has built a significant media presence as one of conservative media’s most prominent voices, with his podcast ranking among the most popular on Apple Podcast charts. Bongino went further in his accusations, suggesting the FBI doctored surveillance footage of the pipe bomb suspect and might eventually cover up the incident as a “training exercise gone wrong” if the truth emerged.

Inside Job Theories and FBI Accountability

The unsolved case of the January 6 pipe bombs has fueled numerous conspiracy theories across the political spectrum, with the FBI still offering a reward for information about the perpetrator four years later. A Department of Homeland Security report released earlier this year revealed that then-Vice President-elect Kamala Harris was near one of the devices placed near the Democratic National Committee headquarters, adding to questions about security failures that day.

Bongino’s skepticism toward the FBI began intensifying in May 2017 after the appointment of a special counsel to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election. His views align with those of Kash Patel, Trump’s pick for FBI Director, who has expressed similar theories about the pipe bomber case and other aspects of the January 6 investigations, positioning the two men as potential reformers of an institution they’ve long criticized.

Reshaping the FBI Under Trump’s Second Term

The Trump administration has defended Bongino’s appointment, with a White House spokesperson stating: “President Trump brilliantly selected Dan Bongino—a highly-qualified former NYPD police officer and U.S. Secret Service agent—as the next Deputy Director of the FBI. As President Trump said, Bongino will work alongside Director Kash Patel to bring law and order, fairness, and justice back to America, and his willingness to give up his wildly popular podcast shows his dedication to serving our country.”

Both Bongino and Patel are well-known figures in MAGA circles who have consistently challenged what they view as corruption within federal law enforcement agencies. Bongino has published multiple books alleging the existence of an anti-Trump cabal within the government, including titles focusing on what he describes as a “deep state” conspiracy against the president, establishing himself as a vocal critic of the very institution he’s now positioned to help lead.

Disgusting Spies Removed By Tulsi Gabbard

transgender

Transgender fetishes will no longer be a topic of discussion at U.S. intelligence agencies. The spooky “alphabet” agencies won’t be burdened by DEI nonsense. DNI Tulsi Gabbard made a huge announcement recently. She fired “more than 100” intelligence community staffers who took part in “obscene, pornographic, and sexually explicit” chatrooms on a government messaging platform.

Twisted transgender chat

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard angered the transgender troublemakers on Tuesday, February 25. She’s been working overtime since taking over the mess of corruption left behind by Merrick Garland.

After hours, DNI Gabbard announced “that she was dismissing more than 100 employees of the U.S. intelligence community.” Specifically, those who participated in “obscene, pornographic, and sexually explicit” chatrooms.

The handlers of Joe Biden were encouraging transgender employees to discuss “their fetishes and sexual fantasies on the National Security Agency Intelink platform.

Ordinary heterosexual staffers doing the same thing would have been fired automatically. The Biden administration protected and even encouraged the twisted gossip as “inclusive.

Gabbard calls the disgusting behavior “an egregious violation of trust.” What they had to say was sick and twisted.

When you see what these people were saying,” the DNI relates, “they were brazen in using an NSA platform intended for professional use to conduct this — kind of really, really horrific behavior.” Being transgender gave them special privileges.

Being held accountable

The Trump administration is dusting off a method which hasn’t been used in years. Making people follow the rules. Including the transgender ones. “They were brazen in doing this, because when was the last time anyone was really held accountable?” Gabbard asks.

Certainly not over the last four years.” It’s been a problem for at least 20 years, she notes, “as we look at some of the biggest violations of the American people’s trust in the intelligence community.

Hard working employees of the intelligence community will no longer be distracted from their work with transgender oriented discussions of things like the pleasures of sex following castration.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard angered the transgender troublemakers.

DNI Gabbard issued a memo “calling for the termination of every employee, ranging from those at the Defense Intelligence Agency to US Naval Intelligence to the NSA, and the revocation of their security clearances by week’s end.

These disgusting chat groups were immediately shut down when President Trump issued his EO ending the DEI insanity the Biden Admin was obsessed with.

The transgender community was furious with that. Gabbard went a step further Tuesday by firing anyone who wrote disgusting things on the inter-agency communication platform. Chat logs revealed several topics of inappropriate conversation. Things including “polyamory, pronoun usage, sex lives and gender transition procedures.
