Dem Racism Begins to Run Rampant by Anastasia Boushee March 2, 2025

Dem: Illegals Shouldn’t Be Deported Because They Pick Crops

Dem Racism Begins to Run Rampant

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) is being called out for her racism after she argued that illegal aliens should not be deported because they are needed to pick crops.

Jayapal — who represents the district in Washington state that includes Seattle — made the racist comments during a Congressional Progressive Caucus rally outside of the U.S. Capitol, where Democrats whined about President Donald Trump, illegal immigration, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

“We refuse to let Donald Trump and his unelected billionaire buddy Elon Musk scapegoat and target immigrants,” Jayapal ranted. “I want to be very clear about something: the only reason they keep doing this is because they want to distract you from the fact that they are stealing your taxpayer dollars. They want you to blame immigrants. They want you to criminalize immigrants. We need to focus on the greedy billionaires and make them pay their fair share.”

“We can’t let them deport the millions of families across this country who have been doing the work that keeps our economy going every day. We can’t let them scapegoat and criminalize immigrants,” she added. “Immigrants are us, and we all deserve respect and dignity.”

Jayapal then pushed the same argument Democrats have made since slavery: how can the U.S. operate without the exploited underclass of indentured servants picking their crops?

“If you look at the food that’s on your table, think about who picked it,” she ranted. “If you look at your homes, think about who built them. If you look at your vulnerable elders and your kids, think about who’s taking care of them.”

Social media users were quick to condemn Jayapal’s racist remarks, with one user writing: “Insert the word ‘cotton’ instead of food and she sounds like a Southern Slaveholder.”

“Dear Democrat voters, we have Seasonal Worker Visa for farm workers to enter the USA, do their jobs, and go home every year. Democrat politicians simply use the Illegal Alien slave class to clean their homes and be their personal slaves. And to buy new voters too,” another user wrote.

“Wow, what an absolute racist. Why do Leftists want a bunch of underpaid immigrants to pick their crops? Do they want slavery or something?” another user asked.

How Many Children Did Adam and Eve Have? Adam and Eve created a family. By Lauren McKeithen

Genesis tells us that God created everything: the heavens, earth, man, and every living creature on earth. The first verse of the Bible says that God created the heavens and earth. The Bible then tells us how God created light, the stars, the seas, night and day, dry land creatures, and finally, man in six days.

God created man on the sixth day of creation and called him Adam. Then, God put Adam in the Garden of Eden, giving him dominion over everything in it, including the birds, fish, and every living thing on earth at that time. After some time, God recognized that it wasn’t suitable for Adam to be alone, so He created Eve by putting Adam in a deep sleep and taking one of his ribs.

God wanted Eve to be a helper comparable to Adam, and He told the two to “be fruitful and multiply” and fill the earth and subdue it. God has given Adam and Eve everything they need to be fulfilled and happy. They’ve been made in His image and likeness and have each other as marriage mates. They’re free to have children within their union. Unfortunately, Adam and Eve didn’t obey God’s rules.

Adam and Eve’s betrayal.

After God gives Adam and Eve everything under the sun, He gives them the rules and regulations, telling them they can eat off every tree in the garden except for one tree called the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Bible doesn’t say how many other trees were in the garden, but there were likely thousands. All Adam and Eve had to do was obey God’s command to avoid this tree. However, they did the opposite.

God let Satan roam the garden as a serpent, knowing he would try to tempt Adam and Eve. Eventually, the two fell for Satan’s deception and lies. Satan sets his target on Eve, telling her she’ll be like God if she eats the fruit from this tree, telling her that she’ll have God’s knowledge of good and evil. After Eve eats the fruit, she convinces Adam to do the same. After committing their first sin against God, Adam and Eve realized they were naked. Before this, they ran naked in the garden, innocent and pure as little children.

They had no sin until they ate the forbidden fruit from the tree. Then, they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves and their shame. Since they disobeyed the rules, God told Adam and Eve they couldn’t stay in the Garden of Eden anymore and banished them.

How many children did Adam and Eve have?

Genesis 4 tells us that Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel after being exiled from the Garden of Eden. Cain was their first son, but the Bible doesn’t specify how much later Abel was born. The brothers took separate careers as adults. Cain became a farmer, while Abel became a shepherd, as detailed in Genesis 4:2. At some point, the two gave offerings to God from their produce.

Abel gave some of his firstborn lambs, while Cain gave crops from his harvest. While God approved Abel’s offering, He didn’t approve of Cain’s. As a result, Cain was jealous and upset with Abel. In Genesis 46:7, God warned Cain to be careful of his emotions. Eventually, Cain’s emotions got the best of him. He asked Abel to walk with him in the field and killed him. God approached Cain, asking him about his brother’s whereabouts, to which Cain answered, “I don’t know. Am I my brother’s guardian?”

God rebuked Cain for killing his brother and told him that he would wander the earth, according to Genesis 4:12. Cain was worried that anyone who found him would kill him, so God placed a mark on Cain and said that anyone who tried to kill him would be punished seven times over. Cain would go on to have a son named Enoch and founded a city. His descendants developed skills like forging metal, playing music and nomadic herding.

Genesis 4:25-26 tells us that Adam and Eve also had a son named Seth. After Seth’s birth, Genesis 4:25 tells us that Eve believed God gave her Seth to replace Abel. Seth would eventually have a son named Enosh. The genealogy in Genesis 5 emphasizes Seth’s descendants, finishing with Noah, who built the ark.

Did Adam and Eve have more than three sons?

Initially, Genesis 4-5 seems to say that Adam and Eve didn’t have children between Abel and Seth. Genesis 5:4 says Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters, implying that there was a long time where it was Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, and a significant expansion after Seth was born. Genesis 5 discusses Adam’s lineage but doesn’t mention Cain and Abel. According to Genesis 5:3, Adam was 130 years old when Seth was born.

The verse says that Adam lived until he was 930 years old, then details Adam’s lineage. Therefore, Adam and Eve likely had other children; it’s just unknown how many they had. If Adam and Eve were the first humans and there were no other humans to mate with, we could suppose that Cain, Abel and Seth married women descended from Adam and Eve.

We don’t know when Adam and Eve had their daughters or whether Abel had a wife and children that we don’t know about. Knowing that Adam was 130 when Seth was born, there could have been several generations of people born between Genesis 4:1 and 4:17, when we first hear about Cain’s wife. Therefore, it’s unknown if Seth or Cain married their siblings. One might’ve done so, or the other married a cousin or niece.

Adam and Eve were among God’s first creations. They followed God’s command to be fruitful and multiply, having three sons and an unknown number of other children. The Bible says that the couple had other sons and daughters but only shares details about Cain, Abel and Seth. The question of how many children Adam and Eve had may be unknown, but they served their purpose of populating the earth.

6 Things Christians Need to Stop Saying When Evil Strikes These seemingly harmless phrases can cause serious damage. By Megan Bailey

Evil is a part of our world. Terrible and tragic events happen every day. As Christians, we hope to navigate evil events with grace and compassion. But when we attempt to make sense of evil events, we often end up saying something unbiblical. We say things that hurt others we are trying to help. Here are some “go-to” phrases that Christians say that end up causing more harm than good.

“Everything happens for a reason.”

This phrase in itself is not biblical. The fact is that faith is not reasonable in definition. If it was easily verified by scientific evidence and facts, then it would not be faith, it would be a theory. The closest Bible verse says “To everything, there is a season” but it does not translate the same way. Additionally, many Christians use this phrase thinking it will make someone feel better when they would never want to hear it themselves. Even if there is a great reason for the tragedy that happened, it does not make the pain sting any less. If you had just lost a close friend unexpectedly and someone used this phrase you would feel that your grief was being dismissed. It also assumes that the event that happened had no influence by Satan, sin, and free will.

“This is an opportunity for the church.”

Can God redeem an evil act? Yes, He can. However evil acts should not be seen as “opportunities”. They are dark and tragic events that we should not seek to gain from. When bad things happen, it is not a time to look for an angle. It is a time to reflect, pray, strengthen our relationship with God, grieve, and show love and compassion to those affected. As a church, we should not have a greater agenda, because it makes us look opportunistic. God knows the intentions in our hearts, and if we exploit evil tragedies, we are not following His desires for us.

“This is because of God’s wrath.”

We live in a broken world because human nature is to sin. We continue to sin each day and society gets worse because of it. Evil acts, like terrorism or sexual assault, are ideal examples for showing the inherent sinfulness of our world. No matter why these bad events happen, it is clear that God was not behind it. He was not trying to punish the innocent victims for not following His Word. God’s direct intervention and punishment, as described throughout the Bible, is the exception rather than the rule. This is due to His supreme patience (Psalms 103:8) motivated by His love for us and desires to reconcile us to Himself for salvation.

“This is a sign of the apocalypse.”

This phrase is similar to blaming the evil event on God’s wrath. Saying that a horrible event happened because of the impending apocalypse is unbiblical. People who predict when doomsday is coming are carelessly reading scripture and making assumptions that God did not intend. Additionally, we are told several times throughout the Bible to never try and guess when Jesus would return. Mark 13:32 says “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” To say that an event is the sign of the apocalypse is saying that you know more than Jesus Himself. It also does not make anyone feel better – only that much more scared and stressed.

“God will never give you more than you can handle.”

This phrase seems rather logical and may even help calm you if you forgot your lunch at home or are having a following out with a friend. Saying it to others when evil strikes, though, really does not provide any comfort to the receiver. It can sound dismissive of the problem they are going through and can make them feel angry at the Lord. Additionally, the phrase is not a direct verse from the Bible like many people think. The phrase comes from a verse about dealing with temptation in 1 Corinthians 10:13. It says that with God’s help, you will never be tempted beyond what you can bear. It is a big difference between the cultural saying “You won’t be given beyond what you can bear.”

“Did you hear that…”

When evil happens, believers and non-believers alike are quick to try and figure out the “why”. Our desire to understand the bigger reason makes us easily susceptible to rumors and conspiracy theories. We feel an urge to pass along the news that might not be vetted by credible sources because it gives us a sense of peace and understanding. There is already so much misinformation out there that Christians should not participate in spreading. Followers of Jesus should always speak the truth.

When tragedy and evil strikes, Christians may not know how to best respond. We rely on quick inspirational messages or clichés to defuse the situation. However, these phrases rarely make anyone feel better. God wants us to respond to these dark events by praying, joining with other Christians, and finding strength in Him. Through God, we can heal and deal with negative emotions in an effective way.
