TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE

“History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.” – Ecclesiastes 1:9 NLT

SOMETHING TO PONDER

I doubt Solomon was talking about raising teenagers in this verse, but it’s helping me cope with my plight today! As hard as I try to break cycles and instill solid wisdom, I inevitably and eventually have a day when all of the wheels fall off of my efforts and my sanity. Raising teens is hard because while we are trying to coach them, we remember who we were at their age. We battle between feeling hypocritical and righteous, neither landing on the end goal we set for ourselves.

The wisdom from Solomon brings me peace today to remember that nothing is new under the sun. Although Solomon was grieving his lack of satisfaction despite having everything, it’s helping me remember that life isn’t completely in my hands. Not mine, nor my teenagers. I’ll never get it completely right all of the time, and neither will they. Everything can go right, and we’ll still find something wrong. And the days the wheels fall off, we miss those days when everything seemed right.

Thankfully, God is always the same. There is comfort in the fact that He is unchanging. In fact, I often wonder what His expression is as He watches me on the “wheels falling off and careening down a hill” days. The days I yelled at my kid, even though I swore I would never pass that pain on to my kids. The days when I don’t feel like talking about it and miss an opportunity to sow good seeds of wisdom. The days when I hop on the teenage rollercoaster instead of helping my daughters off of it.

Nothing new under the sun, guys. It doesn’t mean to try less to be better. It just means to take the pressure off of things we can’t control, like our humanity. We’re going to mess up. There are no perfect parents …or teenagers. (I know, gasp …I won’t tell them if you don’t.) Jesus has left us the most important legacy. We run to Him for help, and he reminds us to apologize to our people, wipe the slate clean, repent, learn, and try again.

Be encouraged. He’s in it with us every step of the way, unchanging.

YOUR NIGHTLY PRAYER

Father,
When we feel we have failed our kids, it’s painful. It stinks. Raising teenagers is so hard. Father, be with us as we fight the battle of our own flesh and a very real enemy who would love to take all of us out. Give us the courage to apologize to our teens when we’ve not followed through with wisdom and the grace to extend to them as they grow. Father, soften their hearts towards us and help them to hear Your wisdom through our voices and our lives.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

THREE THINGS TO PONDER UPON

1. Though humanity and our struggle with sin remain, we can celebrate the new thing God is doing in our lives. In Christ, the old is gone, and the new has come, Scripture reminds us. Let this truth embrace and encourage you today. Though nothing changes under the sun, we can become new in Christ as we live this side of heaven.

2. Do you apologize to your teens? Consider it. It’s a powerful way to practice humility and repentance in our own lives and a powerful witness to our children to how important those things are.

3. “Always forgiven, never loved less.” It’s something I started saying to my kids when they were little because saying ‘I’m sorry’ seems to absolutely wreck little kids. Teens, not so much, but they still need to hear it. On the off-chanced miraculous moment, they apologize, try it. “Always forgiven, never loved less.” That’s what Jesus does for us.

FBI Under Fire for Withholding Seth Rich Documents

Redacted documents with a censored photograph.
The FBI’s determination to keep Seth Rich-related records concealed has ignited a firestorm of criticism, with attorney Ty Clevenger at the forefront of demands for transparency. The FBI’s stonewalling tactics may soon face unprecedented scrutiny and potentially severe consequences for their handling of FOIA obligations. What critical evidence about Seth Rich might the FBI be concealing from the public?

FBI’s Ongoing Refusal to Release Seth Rich Documents

The Federal Bureau of Investigation continues to withhold records related to Seth Rich, the Democratic National Committee staffer murdered in Washington, D.C., in July 2016 under mysterious circumstances. Attorney Ty Clevenger has been fighting since 2018 to obtain these documents through Freedom of Information Act requests, facing consistent resistance from the federal agency.

Rich’s murder occurred shortly before WikiLeaks released emails from the Clinton campaign and the DNC, fueling speculation about potential connections. Instead of releasing the requested records, the FBI has offered only to provide a Vaughn index—a document that lists withheld files and the justifications for their concealment.

The FBI initially denied possessing Seth Rich’s laptop until Clevenger’s legal efforts forced them to admit otherwise. This reversal of position has raised significant questions about the agency’s transparency and truthfulness in handling FOIA requests related to this high-profile case.

The Legal Battle for Transparency

Clevenger formally demanded the release of Seth Rich’s documents in February 2024, continuing a legal pursuit that began years earlier. His case, officially titled “Clevenger v. U.S. Department of Justice et al.,” was initially filed in the Eastern District of New York on March 14, 2018, and was presided over by Magistrate Judge Lois Bloom.

The legal journey has been fraught with obstacles, including the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys initially refusing to search for records without proof of Rich’s death. Although that particular denial was reversed on administrative appeal, the FBI continued to claim no records were found—a position later proven false when they admitted to having Rich’s laptop.

Clevenger’s investigation further uncovered that the FBI improperly withheld pages from the CrowdStrike report on the alleged 2016 DNC hack. This discovery adds another layer to concerns about the agency’s handling of information related to both the DNC breach and Seth Rich.

Potential Consequences and Political Attention

The ongoing secrecy surrounding the Seth Rich case may soon attract elevated political attention, with Clevenger suggesting that figures like Kash Patel and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi could become involved. Patel would bring significant expertise and public attention to the case.

If high-profile political figures do engage with this issue, the FBI’s FOIA office could face substantial consequences for their handling of these records. The case highlights the tension between government claims of necessary secrecy and the public’s right to information, particularly in cases that intersect with matters of significant public interest.

Although a clerk’s judgment was entered on April 6, 2020, granting the defendants’ motion for summary judgment, Clevenger has remained committed to pursuing transparency. His persistence exemplifies the ongoing struggle between citizens seeking government accountability and federal agencies claiming exemptions from disclosure requirements.

You’ll be speechless when you see what name a top Democrat called Trump

Mar 4, 2025

The Democrat Party is unhinged.

Leftists are coming unglued over President Trump pressing forward with implementing his agenda.

And you’ll be speechless when you see what name a top Democrat called Trump.

Democrat Congresswoman calls Trump an enemy of the United States

Republicans are always happy to see Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) front and center in a public debate.

Crockett comes across as a lunatic racist and Republicans are thrilled that she is becoming the public face of the Democrat Party.

In one appearance on CNN, Crockett claimed only “mediocre white boys” were opposed to DEI programs.

“I am tired of the white tears. Listen, if you are competent, you are not concerned. When you look and you compare me to Marjorie Taylor Greene or me to Lauren Boebert, there is no comparison. And that is the life that we have always lived. So the only people that are crying are the mediocre white boys that have been beaten out by people that historically have had to work so, so much harder,” Crockett ranted.

Crockett’s latest public salvo on MSNBC was even worse, smearing President Trump as an “enemy to the United States” who she falsely accused of “occupying the White House.”

The Texas Congresswoman then fired off a litany of falsehoods about Elon Musk and DOGE putting the country at risk.

“We are not living in a safe country when we decide that we are going to weaken our national security by getting rid of those that are watching our nuclear stockpile, by giving everything over to a private friend known as Elon Musk. We are getting rid of all of the inspector generals. And so there’s literally a lack of checks and balances all around us,” Crockett added.

Crockett then claimed Trump committed an affront against the liberal world order by sending Vice President J.D. Vance to the Munich Security Conference to put European nations on notice that the Trump administration wouldn’t tolerate their freeloading while expecting the American taxpayer to pick up the tab for their national defense or their continued assault on free speech.

“Listen, the way that I used to explain this on the trail when I was campaigning for Madam Vice President is I would say, ‘Listen, it’s kind of like the schoolyard when you go to school, and everybody knows that your siblings are at the same school, or they know that your cousins are at the same school, then they may not pick a fight with you because they know that if they pick a fight with you, they got to pick a fight with your whole family. But when you’re like me an only child, they may decide to pick a fight with you because they’re like, there’s nobody that is going to back her up when we get to the playground,’” Crockett continued.

Crockett claimed Trump was alienating all these supposed “allies” like Canada that took advantage of America on trade and kept their borders open at the same time.

“Right now, he’s trying to put us into a situation to where we will be the only ones on the playground. When you’re going out talking about you’re going to go into Canada. When you’re going out and you’re talking about Mexico. Listen, Zelensky is right. He doesn’t have the privilege that we have. We’ve got water on each side. And we used to have friends on the north and south. He doesn’t have that privilege. And so I really want America to wake up because this should not be partisan. Be the selfish people that we love to be in America,” Crockett continued.

Republicans cheer every time Jasmine Crockett shows up on television.

Her combination of racial grievance and globalist sycophancy is everything Americans came to reject about the Barack Obama-Joe Biden-Kamala Harris-led Democrat Party.

All hell broke loose after Kash Patel issued a warning to FBI agents about the missing Epstein files

Mar 3, 2025

Donald Trump selected Kash Patel as FBI Director to clean out the corruption and restore integrity to the Bureau.

But Deep State officials within the FBI are undermining Patel’s efforts.

And all hell broke loose after Kash Patel issued a warning to FBI agents about the missing Epstein files.

From the Russian-collusion hoax to rounding up Trump supporters anywhere near the Capitol on January 6 to tossing pro-life Americans in jail, the Justice Department and the FBI have served as the Democrat Party’s police force for the past several years.

After years of being politicized and weaponized, corruption is rampant within the FBI.

Donald Trump selected Kash Patel as Director of the FBI because he knew he could trust him to root out the corruption and restore the Bureau when it was America’s most respected law enforcement agency.

Patel is a former acting Director of National Intelligence who helped expose the Russian-collusion hoax when he worked as an aide to a GOP Congressman in 2018.

One of the biggest promises Patel made to the American people was to release all of the Jeffrey Epstein files on his first day as FBI Director.

Patel made this promise on multiple occasions.

Epstein was indicted on sex-trafficking charges in 2019, but he died by suicide in his cell one month after his arrest.

Files previously unsealed from court cases showed Epstein trafficked underage girls to the rich and powerful for the purposes of collecting blackmail.

But at the time of this writing on Friday, Americans are still waiting on the promised release of the Epstein files.

However, the delay is not Patel’s fault.

According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, rogue agents within the FBI are secretly hiding thousands of files in the New York office.

Bondi fired off a letter to Patel where she claimed that a source on Wednesday night told her that she had not received all the Epstein files despite the several assurances that she had.

“Before you came into office, I requested the full and complete files related to Jeffrey Epstein,” Bondi wrote to Patel. “In response to this request, I received approximately 200 pages of documents, which consisted primarily of flight logs, Epstein’s list of contacts, and a list of victims’ names and phone numbers.”

“I repeatedly questioned whether this was the full set of documents responsive to my request and was repeatedly assured by the FBI that we had received the full set of documents,” Bondi continued.

“Late yesterday, I learned from a source that the FBI Field Office in New York was in possession of thousands of pages of documents related to the investigation and indictment of Epstein,” she added. “Despite my repeated requests, the FBI never disclosed the existence of these files.”

Bondi gave the Bureau a deadline of 8:00 a.m. Friday morning to “deliver the full and complete Epstein files to my office, including all records, documents, audio and video recordings, and materials related to Jeffrey Epstein and his clients, regardless of how such information was obtained.”

Not long after Bondi’s letter, Patel put the corrupt agents on notice and vowed to see that all of the Epstein files make it to the public.

“The FBI is entering a new era—one that will be defined by integrity, accountability, and the unwavering pursuit of justice,” Patel wrote. “There will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, and no stone left unturned — and anyone from the prior or current Bureau who undermines this will be swiftly pursued.”

Patel warned that “if there are gaps, we will find them, if records have been hidden, we will uncover them.”

He doubled down on his promise to the American people to release everything the FBI has on the Jeffrey Epstein case.

“And we will bring everything we find to the DOJ to be fully assessed and transparently disseminated to the American people as it should be,” Patel wrote. “The oath we take is to the Constitution, and under my leadership, that promise will be upheld without compromise.”

The debacle with the Epstein files only shows how deep the corruption runs within the FBI.

Kash Patel is on a mission to clean house in the Bureau, but it’s going to take some time to root out every bad apple.

Crushing the Deep State’s Shadow Empire Leftists and Bureaucrats Cling to Unchecked Power America’s federal workforce, a sprawling two-million-strong bureaucracy, has long been a Democratic stronghold.
