End times signs (Prophecy) : Something Huge Is Happening Now to America - Prepare Your Mentality!!

When the religious leaders demanded a miracle, Jesus replied that it was a wicked and spiritually unfaithful generation that insisted on looking for God in the abnormal instead of discerning the signs of the times.

What did Jesus mean when He told them they could not discern the signs of the times (Matthew 16:3)? To answer this question, we need to see what those leaders were asking Jesus. Matthew 16:1 tells us, “Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven.”

On another occasion the religious leaders pressed again, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You” (Matthew 12:38).

According to Expositor’s Bible Commentary, “A ‘sign’ … was usually some miraculous token to be fulfilled quickly or at once, in order to confirm a prophecy. The Jews were not asking for just another miracle, since they had already persuaded themselves that at least some of those Jesus had performed were of demonic agency (12:24); they were asking for a ‘sign’ performed on command to remove what seemed to them to be the ambiguity of Jesus’ miracles” (note on Matthew 12:38).

Given that Jesus performed so many miracles throughout Galilee and Judea, it is very likely that these religious teachers would have heard many convincing testimonies about the supernatural miracles Jesus had already performed (Matthew 4:24; 9:27-31; Luke 7:11-17). Still, these men apparently wanted to see a showy miracle to satisfy their curiosity. And their “testing Him” meant some even doubted the source of His power to perform the miracles (Luke 11:15-16; John 12:37).

What will happen to the United States in the days ahead?
Are there biblical prophecies about America? Why does the U.S. seem absent in the pages of the Bible? How can it be that our country plays no discernible role in the dominant prophetic events of this age? Once the wealthiest, most evangelistic, generous, and powerful nation. Is our nation under a curse?
Now is a very good time to fast and pray for America and her leaders. Every time people humbled themselves in fasting and prayer—without exception, God did something unusual and extraordinary. Even wicked King Ahab averted judgment when he humbled himself with fasting.
If believers, the Church of Jesus Christ, would take their positions as His ambassadors on Earth, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we would win millions to Jesus Christ before His coming.
Why is Bible Prophecy Important?
We are approaching eternity at break-neck speed as the prophetic signs become more frequent and increasingly intense. God meant for His people to understand the cryptic prophecies relating to the end times.
God seems to be engaged in the final round-up right now. Interestingly, most Christians today no longer even know what they believe about Bible prophecy.
Prophecy teaching wins people to Christ. Biblical prophecy is meant to bring comfort for God’s people and simultaneously deliver a warning to those not yet committed to Christ.
