From our friends at the Middle East Forum's Islamist Watch comes A Journalist's Manual: Field Guide to Useful Infidels, a 20-page report available free online or as a PDF download.
The report identifies 15 prominent non-Muslims in the fields of entertainment, journalism, government, and academia who pave the way for civilizational jihad in the West.
"The Field Guide shines a light on some of those Americans who help grow this repugnant ideology," says Middle East Forum director Gregg Roman. "They don't stand up for religious pluralism, freedom of speech, or equality under the law. They do provide cover for anti-American incitement, misogyny, gay bashing, and violence."
Among these useful idiots are:
- Actor Ben Affleck (pictured above) who argues that criticizing Islamism is "gross" and "racist";
- Karen Armstrong, author of many books on religion, who thinks anti-Islamists are as bad as Nazis;
- Obama's CIA director John Brennan, who purged any mention of Islam from training manuals;
- Diplomat Martin Indyk of the Brookings Institution, who accepted a $14.8 million gift as well as many smaller sums from the government of Qatar;
- Morris Dees, chief of the hate group known as the Southern Poverty Law Center, who delegitimizes anti-Islamists throughmisleading reports.
Others named in the report include TV journalist/activist Christiane Amanpour, anti-Israel activist Max Blumenthal, Foundation for Middle East Peace president Matt Duss, N.J. Governor Chris Christie, academic Islam apologist John Esposito, reporter Glenn Greenwald, Secretary of State John Kerry (pictured above with Affleck), anti-tax activist Grover Norquist, San Francisco State University president Leslie Wong, and Democratic Party activist James Zogby.
