Clueless Chuck: 'Lots' of Democrats Can Win 2020

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer will be in for a rude awakening come 2020 so long as he believes that "lots" of Democrats could beat President Trump in 2020.

Speaking on MSNBC this Friday, unfunny comedienne Amy Schumer's uncle was asked by MSNBC reporter Kasie Hunt if he believed the Democrats have enough muscle to strong-arm Trump out of office in four years. He thinks so. See transcript:

HUNT: I would like one short answer to this question. Who in the Democratic Party can beat President Trump in 2020?

SCHUMER: Lots of people.

HUNT: Lots of people. One name?

SCHUMER: I’m not going to pick a name. If he continues at the rate—

If there's "lots" of people, then picking a name should not be too hard. What about Elizabeth...No. Or how about Keith...No, not him either. Why not Nancy...Wow, the Democrats have no one.

When asked who the current party leader was, Schumer again played the abundance card, which essentially means no one, since no movement survives without a leader.

"We have a bunch of leaders," he said. "I’m the leader of the Senate and try to represent the Democratic Party, but we have a bunch of good voices. It’s much too premature to handicap 2020. But I’ll tell you this: if the president continues this way, there is even a chance we could take back the Senate."
