Muslim tourist from Turkey stabs Israeli security guard at Lion’s Gate in Jerusalem

“Security guard stabbed outside Lion’s Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City in terror attack; terrorist shot dead,” JNS, March 18, 2018:
(March 18, 2018 / JNS) A security guard is in serious condition after being stabbed by a terrorist near the Lion’s Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City. The terrorist was shot and neutralized by security forces immediately following the incident, and soon after died from his wounds.First responder Dr. Yishai Ben Uri Zilbeger said, “After being notified by United Hatzalah’s dispatch and Command center to the incident in the Old City, I arrived at the scene and found one person in their 20’s suffering from a stab wound in their upper chest. He was in serious condition. I treated him at the scene for his injuries following which he was transported from the location of the incident to the hospital for further care and observation.” The wounded security guard was rushed to Hadassah hospital on Mount Scopus by the Magen David Adom emergency services.
