The U.S. Justice Department is bringing hate crimes charges and attempted kidnapping against the three white men in custody for the killing of Ahmaud Arbery last year. The indictment alleges Gregory McMichael, his son Travis McMichael, and William Bryan used force and threats to intimidate and interfere with Arbery's right to use a public street because he was Black. But unlike Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, Collins stayed behind and piloted the command module as it circled above the moon.
