DOGE Persona ‘Big Balls’ Got Swarmed By Attackers In DC… Should Congress Step In?
He managed to get his girl to safety, but paid a helluva price in the process
With crime still a rampant problem in DC, and no signs of that changing any time soon, is it time for Congress to resume control of how the district is run?
The entire concept of government is that it should benefit the interests of the people who live under its care, but the folks in DC are far more interested in ramping up the blood sport of political activism to the nth degree.
They are all-in with whatever agendas are fashionable with the bleeding-edge of the political left. But the real-world consequences of their agendas are showing up in crime statistics.
The latest example of local violence involves a familiar name that was very much in the news just a few months ago. From the ‘DOGE team, we knew him by his alias ‘Big Balls’.
Edward ‘Big Balls’ Coristine and his girlfriend were attacked at about 3am by a crowd of youths, who were attempting to carjack them, and did manage to steal an iPhone. Edward tried to stop them, but there were too many and he took a beating.
A 19-year-old man known as “Big Balls” who played a key role in the DOGE initiative to shrink the size of government was assaulted over the weekend in Washington, according to city police.
Edward Coristine, who still works for the government, was assaulted by approximately 10 juveniles near Dupont Circle about 3 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report obtained by POLITICO.
[…] Coristine told the officers the assailants approached him outside his vehicle while he was with a woman — identified in the report as his “significant other” — and made a comment about taking it, according to the report. He told officers that he got the other person into the vehicle just before he was attacked. — Politico
The President took to Truth Social, where he published this same image of him sitting on the ground after taking a beating, and had this to say:
Crime in Washington, D.C., is totally out of control. Local “youths” and gang members, some only 14, 15, and 16-years-old, are randomly attacking, mugging, maiming, and shooting innocent Citizens, at the same time knowing that they will be almost immediately released. They are not afraid of Law Enforcement because they know nothing ever happens to them, but it’s going to happen now! The Law in D.C. must be changed to prosecute these “minors” as adults, and lock them up for a long time, starting at age 14. The most recent victim was beaten mercilessly by local thugs. Washington, D.C., must be safe, clean, and beautiful for all Americans and, importantly, for the World to see. If D.C. doesn’t get its act together, and quickly, we will have no choice but to take Federal control of the City, and run this City how it should be run, and put criminals on notice that they’re not going to get away with it anymore. Perhaps it should have been done a long time ago, then this incredible young man, and so many others, would not have had to go through the horrors of Violent Crime. If this continues, I am going to exert my powers, and FEDERALIZE this City. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Should Congress step in?
Or should they return the most of the city back to the states they originally came from and leave Congress just to run the core of the city that they all live and work in anyway?
