This week, through an amazing series of events, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will command the world’s attention by giving a series of speeches in Washington, DC, at the behest of Israel-loving politicians. No, Barack Obama is not one of those people.

“For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14
In tweets over the past 24 hours, Netanyahu has said among other things that “I am leaving for Washington on a fateful, even historic mission. I am the emissary of all Israelis, even those who disagree with me.” And that he certainly is. Like him or hate him, Benjamin Netanyahu is the face of Zionism and the de facto spokesperson for Jews worldwide.

What is Zionism? Simply put, Zionism is the belief that all the land of Israel, as promised to the Jews by the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, belongs to the Jewish people forever. Benjamin Netanyahu is a champion of Zionism. Israel was not created in 1948, Israel was established by God Himself nearly 3,500 years ago and after 2,000 years of Diaspora He regathered His chosen people in exactly the same spot from which they were scattered in 70 AD. On May 14, 1948, with the recognition of the nation of Israel by US President Harry S. Truman, prophecy was fulfilled according to what Jesus had spoken in the gospel of Matthew:
“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” Matthew 24:32,33 (KJV)
Benjamin Netanyahu wants peace and safety for Israel, Barack Obama wants Iran to have nuclear weapons. In a nutshell, that’s the reason for Netanyahu’s visit today to Washington. Bible believing Christians all across America today should rise up in one voice with support for Netayahu’s mission, and prayers for his success. He faces tremendous opposition from the liberal Democrats, chiefly from Barack Obama who detests him and Israel.

Netanyahu’s visit is highly unusual. Not only will he not meet with Obama, but he is taking the most prominent stage outside the White House available to a foreign leader in Washington and directly campaigning against one of the president’s top second-term priorities — a nuclear deal with Iran. Netanyahu appears to have concluded that the proposed agreement is so bad that, in a highly unorthodox move, he will actively join Obama’s political adversaries in an effort to derail the president’s Iran deal-making.
The Israeli leader will make the case against the proposed deal in an address to Congress on Tuesday, against the wishes of the White House, at the invitation of GOP House Speaker John Boehner.
The speech, likely to delight Republicans, who are also trying to thwart Obama’s Iran diplomacy, will be the starkest illustration yet of the estrangement between Netanyahu and Obama. source

    God’s blessings, Netanyahu. You are God’s man for this hour and Obama the devil’s man… I believe that there is going to be the fourth and final Arab vs. Israeli war later this year (Psalm 83) and this time Obama’s caliphate will be coming up against God’s people and will be annihilated in a limited nuclear war (Isaiah 17:1 and Amos 1-2)…Obama will have egg all over his face. Praise the Lord.

    Netanyahu’s speech is sure to be eye opening and provocative, and I’m guessing most who hear it will come away with the conviction that something urgently needs to be done as soon as possible. But what will the White House do? I think most of us would be surprised if it’s anything (positive) other than merely carrying on as if Netanyahu’s speech never took place. My own country suddenly feels… foreign, to me.

Massive IDF training exercise seen as preparation for possible deterioration in security situation

In a sign of Israel Defense Forces preparations for possible destabilization of the security situation in the West Bank, the army’s Central Command called up 13,000 reservists in a surprise exercise on Sunday ordered by the new chief of staff of the IDF, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot.

Of the troops summoned, only 3,000 will actually have to report for reserve duty on Monday, the army said in a statement. For the remainder, the exercise was limited to the surprise call-up itself.
The troops will practice riot-control techniques, responses to kidnapping attempts and the handling of improvised explosive devices, the Ynet news site reported.
The two-day call-up will see the reservists training alongside troops from the air force, active duty infantry, combat engineers, and armor and intelligence units in the West Bank.
“This is the largest operational exercise in the past few years. I do not remember anything of this scale,” a senior army officer told Ynet.
The Palestinian Authority was given advance notice ahead of the exercise by the IDF’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) unit, which manages the army’s contacts with Palestinian authorities. COGAT officials told their Palestinian counterparts that the IDF was preparing for the possibility of escalation in unrest. source

c. Wars and rumors of wars.
d. Nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom.
e. Increased famines, pestilences and also earthquakes.
f. Lawlessness and immorality will abound.
g. The love of many will grow cold.
h. Many Christians will depart from the faith giving attention to deceiving spirits and also doctrines of demons.
i. Men will become lovers of self, lovers of money, unholy, proud, boasters, blasphemers, unloving, disobedient to mothers and fathers, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, traitors, headstrong, lovers of delight as opposed to lovers of God and also ungrateful.
j. The Holy Spirit will be poured out on all flesh.
k. The Gospel of Jesus Christ will taught to the whole world and then the end arrives.
l. God will open up end time prediction for all to know and also translate so as to plan for His next coming.

Those indicators were given to us in Matthew 24:24, Matthew 24: 3-14, 2 Timothy 3:1, and 1 Timothy 4:1.

If you look very carefully at some of these signs, a lot of them are actually happening. Granted, a few of them had already been taking place over the history of the world, many of them are escalating in number and intensity. All you need to do is see the daily news which is one scary story after another.

Those who study Bible prophecy believe we're truly living in the end times as prophesied in the Bible. Only time will tell when the 7 year Great Tribulation will come upon us.

(Mediaite) Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) showed his impassioned side Monday afternoon during a heated interview with CNBC anchor Kelly Evans on forced vaccinations, a bipartisan corporate tax holiday bill, and accusations of “conflict of interest.”
From the beginning of the interview, it became clear Evans was ready to pounce on the senator for a variety of issues. She began with his Monday morning remarks to Laura Ingraham that most vaccines should be voluntary.
“Did you really just say [that]?” an incredulous Evans asked.
“I guess being for freedom would be really unusual,” the senator replied. “I guess I don’t understand the point of why that would be controversial?” When Evans insisted it was a problematic view to hold, given the recent instances of measles at Disney theme parks, Paul explained that he is not opposed to vaccines themselves, but to the idea that government must force everyone to take them. (An important distinction that gets lost in the conversation about actual anti-vaccine “truthers.”)
“I’m a big fan,” Paul said of vaccinations, “but for most of our history they have been voluntary.”
Pushed further, he added this money line that ought to get a rise out of many civil libertarians:
I think they’re a good thing but I think the parent should have some input. The state doesn’t own your children; parents own the children and it is an issue of freedom.
Evans then pivoted to Paul’s proposed corporate tax holiday (co-sponsored by liberal Sen. Barbara Boxer), and that discussion was somehow tense as well. The anchor pushed back on his proposal by suggesting “most of the research indicates that these [holidays] actually cost more money over the long term than they save.”
Sen. Paul was not pleased. “Your premise and your question is mistaken,” he said. “Most of the research doesn’t indicate that.” He pointed to a study from a former Clinton official that suggests the 2005 tax holiday was a net gain. But then the pair got into some tough crosstalk with the senator shushing his host and asking her to “calm down a bit here” as she continued to prod him on his proposal.
And the tension didn’t end there. Evans confronted the senator about a possible “conflict of interest” in a fight he had with the American Board of Ophthalmology over re-certification.
“Once again you’re mischaracterizing and confusing the whole situation,” the senator tore into Evans. “You have taken an interview and made an interview into something where we got no useful information because you were argumentative and you started out with so many presuppositions that were incorrect.” He explained that his fight with the board had nothing to do with helping family and friends avoid re-testing, but rather a struggle over competition and fairness in the certification process.
And when Evans closed the interview by asking Paul the requisite “Are you running in 2016?” question, he handed her another scolding:
We’re thinking about it and we’re looking around the United States and seeing if the message resonates. Part of the problem is that you end up having interviews like this where the interview is so slanted and full of distortions that you don’t get useful information. I think this is what’s bad about TV sometimes so, frankly, I think, if we do this again, you need to try to start out with a little more objectivity going into the interview.
(Politico) Sen. Rand Paul reproached CNBC anchor Kelly Evans on Monday afternoon for what he said was a “slanted” interview that got no “useful information."

Evans asked Paul about his comments on how vaccines should be a choice and about a Washington Post article that reported Paul appointed his own family members to a medical board he started.

“You have taken an interview and you’ve made an interview into something where we got no useful information because you were argumentative and you started out with so many preoppositions [sic] that were incorrect,” Paul said after Evans asked whether Paul had a response to the Washington Post piece.

The U.S. government and large corporations are so concerned about the potential for a major New Madrid earthquake that they have held major exercises that simulate one.

Yesterday, a friend wrote to me that the New Madrid Fault line had a small earthquake. It was 3.1 on the Richter Scale, and 7 miles deep. Now, I know that sounds insignificant. But I thought that the readers should know the history behind New Madrid fault zone.
I read this piece this morning from a Missouri website which tracks movement on the New Madrid:
“An updated USGS report says the New Madrid Seismic Zone has a larger range of potential earthquake magnitudes than previously imagined.

Emergency Management Agency director Jeff Shawan said the report and others like it paint a grim picture of life in Southeast Missouri if the New Madrid monster quake occurs.
“If we have a cataclysmic event in the New Madrid Fault, Butler County will be severely affected,” Shawan said. “Eastern Butler County is part of the liquefaction zone, and we know the destruction there will be extreme. However, destruction in western Butler County will be significant as well.”[1] – source

Once upon a time, North America almost divided along a very deep subsurface rift. Today, that rift system and the faults associated with it are known as the New Madrid fault zone. This fault zone is six times larger than the San Andreas fault zone in California and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. Back in 1811 and 1812, four of the largest earthquakes in U.S. history struck that area of the country. The movement of the ground was so powerful that it changed the course of the Mississippi River and it rang church bells in Boston, Massachusetts.
Back in 1811 and 1812, there were four earthquakes along the New Madrid fault zone there were so immensely powerful that they are still talked about today.
Those earthquakes opened deep fissures in the ground, caused the Mississippi River to run backwards, and were reportedly felt more than 1,000 miles away. It is said that the stench of fire and brimstone hung in the air for months afterwards. The most powerful of this series of quakes was on December 16th, 1811. The following is one description of what happened on that day…
This powerful earthquake was felt widely over the entire eastern United States. People were awakened by the shaking in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Charleston, S.C. Perceptible ground shaking was in the range of one to three minutes depending upon the observer’s location. The ground motions were described as “most alarming and frightening” in places like Nashville, Tenn., and Louisville, Ky. Reports also describe houses and other structures being severely shaken, with many chimneys knocked down. In the epicentral area the ground surface was described as being in great convulsion, with sand and water ejected tens of feet into the air — a process called liquefaction.
So could such an earthquake (or worse) strike today? Well, last year the U.S. Geological Survey released a report that warned that the New Madrid fault zone has the “potential for larger and more powerful quakes than previously thought”, and the USGS also admits that the number of significant earthquakes in the middle part of the country has more than quintupled in recent years. We also know that the U.S. government and large corporations are so concerned about the potential for a major New Madrid earthquake that they have held major exercises that simulate one. Scientists tell us that it is just a matter of time until another superquake hits the region, and personally I am one of the millions of Americans that believe that we will eventually see a New Madrid earthquake that will divide the United States in half. That is one of the reasons why I included a New Madrid earthquake in my novel.
But others are skeptical. They point out that we have not seen a truly devastating earthquake in that region for more than 200 years. So why be concerned about one now?
