Witness Describe's Gun-Owning Hero's Act Against Texas Mass Murderer

"If it wasn’t for him, the guy wouldn’t have stopped."

Michael Moore won't want to watch this...
A man who lives near the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Texas, gave an eyewitness account of his neighbor’s act of bravery Sunday which brought an end to the state's most horrendous mass murder.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., Devin Patrick Kelley opened fire on a worship service in the small town 40 miles east of San Antonio. After an assault which resulted in at least 26 deaths and 20 wounded, the former Air Force enlistee exited the church. Upon walking out, he was engaged by a local gun owner. The heroic act forced Kelley to drop his weapon and flee.
The courageous resident’s stoppage of any more potential violence wrought by Kelley was witnessed by his neighbor, Kevin Jordan, who described the man to Kens5 News:
“Our neighbor, he’s a very good guy, very big Christian.  He’s the nicest man on the planet; he would do anything for anyone around here. We’ve known him for years. He’s childhood friends with my dad.”
Jordan, who was outside changing his oil when the murders commenced, recounted his neighbor's brave interruption of the crime:
“He came with his [gun], and he took cover behind a car and he shot the guy – I’m not sure if it was inside the church as he was coming out -- but if it wasn’t for him, the guy wouldn’t have stopped. And that’s when [Kelley] got in his vehicle and took off, and our friend shot through the window again trying to get him.”
News of the gun owner's brave deed won't amuse the Left; they're bent on the narrative that firearms are solely for murderers, not heroes. But Texas disagrees -- its gun ownership rate is at nearly 36%. And Sunday, one man among that number used his constitutional right to stop a murderer.

Here's everything we know about Kelley so far:

Who was Kelley?

CBS NewsState and federal authorities declined to identify the suspect, but news outlets identified him as Devin Kelley, a 26-year-old white man from New Braunfels, Texas, about 35 miles north of Sutherland Springs.
According to CBS News, Kelley served in the US Air Force from 2010 to 2014, when he was dishonorably discharged and court martialed. Officials said Kelley had no known links to terrorist groups.
Social-media users highlighted a post on Kelley's Facebook page which appears to show an AR-15 semiautomatic weapon — the same type of weapon used in Sunday's shooting — coupled with the caption "She's a bad b----."
CBS News reported that Kelley has a wife named Danielle Lee Shields.

Investigators raided Kelley's home Sunday evening, the San Antonio Express-News reported.

How did he carry out the shooting?

Kelley was spotted at a gas station in Sutherland Springs at 11:20 a.m. local time on Sunday, according to the timeline provided by an official from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
He then crossed the street, left his vehicle and began firing at First Baptist Church with a Ruger assault rifle. He was dressed in black tactical gear and a bulletproof vest.
Kelley entered the church and continued to fire, hitting several parishioners. When he exited the church, a local resident with a rifle "engaged" the suspect, the official said, at which point Kelley dropped his weapon, got into his car and fled the scene. The resident followed Kelley.

How did he die?

After a brief chase, law-enforcement officials found Kelley's vehicle on the side of the road in neighboring Guadalupe County. Kelley was found dead in the vehicle from a gunshot wound. Authorities said they did not know if Kelley had committed suicide or had been wounded by the resident who followed him.

Mueller has enough evidence to charge Flynn in Russia investigation

Mueller has enough evidence to charge Flynn in Russia investigation

Special counsel Robert Mueller has amassed enough evidence to charge President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn as part of his investigation into Russia interfering in the 2016 presidential election, NBC News reported on Sunday.
Trump fired Flynn in February after just 24 days on the job after news reports revealed he had been in contact with a top Russian ambassador during the campaign and kept the White House in the dark about those meetings.
Federal agents are talking to witnesses in the next few days about Flynn’s lobbying work and whether he laundered money or lied to investigators about his foreign contacts, NBC reported, citing sources.
Mueller’s team is also probing Flynn’s involvement in trying to remove a foe of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan from the US in exchange for $2 million, the report said.

Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign manager, and his longtime business associate Rick Gates were hit with 12-count indictments last Monday on charges of tax fraud and money laundering.
They were the first indictments from Mueller’s investigation.
If Flynn is charged, he would be the first current or former administration staffer formally accused in the Russia investigation by Mueller.
