Democrats Love Abortion: New Poll Shows 68% of Democrats Favor Abortion on Demand

NATIONAL   MICAIAH BILGER   JUL 30, 2018   |   5:19PM    WASHINGTON, DC
A new poll indicates growing support for legalized abortion among Democrats.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll found 68 percent of Democrats say abortion generally should be legal, an 8 percent increase from 2016. In contrast, 61 percent of Republicans said abortions generally should be illegal; and 52 percent of respondents overall said abortions generally should be legal.
Democrat support for abortion is up, but it is unclear if the poll shows growing public support for abortion or just a party that is increasingly pro-abortion. In the past two years, Democratic Party leaders and donors have been pushing out pro-life candidates and voters by adopting radical policies that demand support for abortions for any reason up to birth and taxpayer-funded abortions.
With the mid-term elections coming up in November, the poll also asked about voters’ priority issues, and abortion was not one of them. Just 9 percent of Democrats said abortion is the most important issue to them.
“Abortion rights have been kind of an also-ran issue,” Jeremy Freese, a professor of sociology at Stanford University, told Reuters. “I’m not saying it’s not there as an issue, but I wouldn’t say that it’s risen to the level of being one of the defining issues.”
But that is not the picture presented by pro-abortion Democrat leaders and the mainstream media, especially in light of President Donald Trump’s recent Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh. They have highlighted Roe v. Wade and abortion on demand as a key issue in Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
Reuters noted this in its report:
Some Democrats, including New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, have made abortion rights front and centre in their campaigns ahead of November, hoping to energise supporters after U.S. President Donald Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
If Kavanaugh, a conservative, replaces Justice Anthony Kennedy on the top U.S. court, he could tip the balance and help overturn the landmark Roe vs. Wade ruling that legalized abortion.
Campaigning on abortion rights might benefit some Democrats’ fundraising efforts for the mid-term elections, Freese said, but it is hard to gauge whether it will further motivate people to vote.

Black Pastor Slams “Black Genocide” of Abortion: 1,800 Black Babies are Aborted Every Day

NATIONAL   CHRISTINA VAZQUEZ   JUL 30, 2018   |   3:47PM    WASHINGTON, DC
The Rev. Clenard Childress Jr. calls out abortion for what it is: a mass genocide of the most innocent.
Childress, a leading pro-life advocate in the Black community, discussed the hypocrisy of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in a July column, citing statistics about the disproportionately high number of abortions in the Black community.
Childress listed five “undeniable and inconvenient truths” about abortion, including the shocking fact that more than 20 million African American children have been aborted in the United States. That amounts to about 1,800 aborted babies in the Black community every day.
Abortions hurt every race and culture, but black Americans have a disproportionately high number of abortions compared to other racial groups. According to census data, African Americans make up about 13 percent of the U.S. population but have about 30 percent of the abortions.
Childress went on to discuss the irony of John Schnatter, the man behind Papa John’s pizza, being ousted for racist comments. Despite the NAACP’s intense scrutiny of individuals and groups like Schnatter, Childress noted the NAACP has glossed over one very important person: Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in America.
He wrote:
“She was an avowed White Supremacist and was quoted as saying, “…colored people are human weeds and need to be exterminated… reckless breeders… spawning… human beings who never should have been born…” Margaret Sanger, “Pivot of Civilization.” Sanger, was in her time, the leading advocate of the eugenics movement, specifically of negative eugenics, which promoted the reduction of sexual reproduction and sterilization of people with undesired traits or economic conditions. She wrote, “The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.” Margaret Sanger, “Women and the New Race” (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923).”
Rev. Childress explained how Sanger guided Adolf Hitler in his eugenic implementation in the Holocaust, one of the worst crimes against humanity ever, and yet she is still lauded for her work in the United States.
The NAACP does not seem to truly advance minorities when it comes to the fundamental issue of life. Rather, the historic organization silences those who dare to point that out. In 2015, the NAACP lost a legal battle to Ryan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation, a Black pro-life advocate who had written a column at LifeNews exposing the organization for its pro-abortion stance.
Some groups are attempting to address the abhorrent roots of the Planned Parenthood abortion chain. According to Breitbart, even a Planned Parenthood student group at the University of Florida hosted an event last March to discuss Sanger and the racist roots of her organization.
Even though some may acknowledge Sanger’s vicious, racist motives, her work is still rampant today. Her eugenic beliefs may be condemned, but her legacy is as present as ever today. So many children, especially those who are children of color, lose their lives to abortions every day. Childress’s words will continue to ring true, and people must take action to stop this black genocide that takes place in our very communities.

Couple Furious After Doctor Said Their Baby Died and Suggested Abortion, Daughter Was Born Healthy

INTERNATIONAL   CHRISTINA VAZQUEZ   JUL 30, 2018   |   11:53AM    LONDON, ENGLAND
If it had not been for a second look at an ultrasound, the Williams family could have aborted their healthy daughter.
According to Daily Mail, Susanna and Ben Williams were happily expecting their second child when they decided to get an ultrasound. Susanna already had experienced a miscarriage at eight weeks in 2014, so the British mom wanted to be sure her child was doing well.
The National Health Service in England offers expectant mothers ultrasound scans starting at 12 weeks of pregnancy, but the couple wanted an earlier look, so they went to a private clinic called Windows to the Womb in South West London, which performs scans starting at six weeks.
At the clinic, sonographer Dr. Ashish Sharma began to perform the scan when he fell silent, not sharing information with the couple, according to the report. Susanna Williams said she asked the doctor if he could see anything, to which Sharma replied that he would perform an internal scan for a better look.
After the internal scan, Sharma told the expecting couple their child stopped growing at six weeks and there was no heartbeat, even though Susanna was eight weeks pregnant, the couple said.
He continued to explain to the couple that they had experienced a “missed miscarriage,” when the mother’s body fails to recognize that the child has died in the womb, according to the report.
The couple said Sharma suggested they go to the nearby Kingston NHS Hospital to discuss whether they should let their unborn child naturally pass or have an induced D&C abortion. The one thing the doctor failed to suggest was a second ultrasound to confirm his grim diagnosis, the report states.
The devastated couple weighed their options, and Susanna said she was leaning toward a D&C. When the Williamses consulted the Kingston Hospital, they said a nurse advised Susanna to wait a week because the pregnancy was not advanced.

As they waited, Susanna felt uneasy about undergoing the abortion procedure, saying she was not “ready to say goodbye to the pregnancy,” and also still felt “very pregnant.”
The next day, she underwent the scan, and to their surprise, the Kingston Hospital sonographer showed them that their unborn baby was very much alive in the womb, heartbeat and all, the couple said.
They were overjoyed, yet still cautious, and had a third ultrasound at 20 weeks, where they confirmed their child was alive. Their daughter, Riley, was born safe and well in May.
Despite this joy, the Williamses said they felt furious that Sharma had given them completely inaccurate information about their child. They said they called the doctor to tell him the news of their healthy child, and he was congratulatory but did not apologize for his grave error.
The clinic, Windows to the Womb, “sincerely apologized” to the couple. A spokeswoman for the clinic also noted that they scanned more than 100,000 pregnant women a year and the Williamses’ experience was “an isolated incident.” The clinic recently introduced more training for its employees.
“Every time I look at Riley,” Susanna said, “I can’t help think how she might not have made it…We could have got rid of her. And I fear other couples might have aborted healthy babies after being given wrong information at private scanning clinics.”

Twitter Suspends Pro-Life Blogger for For Bogus ‘Hateful Conduct,” Allows Tweets Calling Her a “C—“

NATIONAL   STEVEN ERTELT   JUL 30, 2018   |   5:59PM    WASHINGTON, DC
Social media giant Twitter continues to come under criticism from pro-life advocates and conservatives over its censorship. In the latest case, Twitter suspended the account of a conservative blogger known for her pro-life opinions despite not producing any evidence to substantiate its claims she abrogated twitter policies.
Kathleen McKinley is a Texas-based conservative blogger who is outspoken about her pro-life views and her viewpoints on other hot political issues. Although she is very civil and respectful in her conversations with others, Twitter on Friday suspended her account. However, the social media company provided no indication as to why her account was suspended and produced nothing to back the decision in terms of evidence of her violating Twitter rules or regulations.
McKinley, who has frequently posted content from LifeNews on her Twitter account, produced an image showing Twitter has suspended her account:
According to Newsbusters, two tweets she posted with her views on controversial political issues led to her suspension:
On Friday, July 27, conservative commentator Kathleen McKinley discovered her Twitter account had been suspended. She was told she had “violated our rules against ‘hateful conduct.’” The two tweets that had been reported as “hateful” were tweets about transgenderism being a mental disorder, and a tweet that had been taken out of context that spoke of Muslim “honor killings.”
She was not originally notified of the suspension, nor was she able to appeal to Twitter to get the suspension lifted. In an interview with the Media Research Center, McKinley said, “I’ve always been very civil. In my blogs, I wouldn’t allow anyone in the comments to curse or disrespect anyone. The idea that I would say anything hateful is ridiculous.”
Although nothing in McKinley’s tweets appeared to have broken Twitter rules for harassment, hate directed at her by political opponents clearly has:
Yet, even though Twitter was quick to punish her for stating her views, they seem to have ignored all the threatening, harassing tweets McKinley has received from hostile Twitter users. One of the tweets told her “go f— herself” while another tweet called her a “racist c—.” Neither of these tweets have been removed or taken down.
This ban happened as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey claims Twitter is focusing on producing “healthy conversation.” How can that be when civil pro-life conservatives are banned and left-win abortion activists haters are allowed to harass people without accountability.
