Multi-Agency Raid Take Down
The raid occurred early on the morning of April 27, where agents from several different agencies swarmed a nightclub being used as a base for the violent Venezuelan gang in Colorado Springs. More than 100 illegal aliens were arrested, and law enforcement seized numerous weapons and drugs. A member of the Sinaloa Cartel was also reportedly at the club.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi gave more detail during an appearance on Fox News, where she explained that under the Biden administration, police had received more than 170 calls via 9-1-1 about this specific nightclub, including for shootings, drug deals, and prostitution. She noted that upon entering this club as a customer, a person would be given a menu of drugs to purchase and the option to pay for a prostitute.
Bondi and Fox News host Brian Kilmeade both expressed their shock that nothing was done about this nightclub under the Biden administration, pointing out that Colorado Springs is not a “sanctuary city” like Denver, and thus the backlash from Democrats for a raid would not have been as strong.
The DEA shared footage of the raid in a post on X, writing: “#DEA Rocky Mountain led a multi-agency enforcement operation along with our local and federal partners early this morning. @DHSGov has taken more than 100 illegal aliens into custody. Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub in Colorado Springs.”
The operation brought together numerous agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the DEA, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Marshals, the FBI, and even U.S. Postal Service police, according to Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin.
Just a few hours after the massive multi-agency raid, Bondi provided more clarification about what had been going on inside the underground nightclub.
“This morning @DEAHQ apprehended over 100 illegal aliens at an underground night club frequented by Tda and MS-13 terrorists,” she wrote in a post on X. “Cocaine, meth, and pink cocaine was seized. 2 people were also arrested on existing warrants. As we approach his 100 days in office @POTUS Trump’s directive to make America safe again is achieving results!”
“The party is OVER. Law and order has returned. Under the leadership of @POTUS Trump and @Sec_Noem, we are taking a whole of government approach to removing criminal illegal aliens from American communities,” the official DHS account wrote.
