Oswaldo Ramos found swift and painful justice at the hands of Bronx vigilantes. Police posted an alert asking the neighborhood for help finding “a sicko who tried to rape a 70-year-old woman.” The neighborhood found him first. Afterward, they told the cops which hospital he’s at.

Modern vigilante justice

The reason New York City has devolved back in time to vigilante justice is because liberal Democrat prosecutors refuse to prosecute criminals. Police have become largely ornamental.

They can break up a fight or step in to other incidents they stumble on in progress but other than that, everything they do is only for show.

It turns out that Oswaldo Ramos happens to be “a 50-year-old career criminal with 19 previous arrests.” On Friday, April 18, the serial burglar took off his pants and approached a 70-year-old woman from behind, trying to rape her.

She fought him off and he fled down the fire stairs, where he was caught on security camera struggling to pull his pants on as he ran down the stairs. By Tuesday, police were reporting the outcome of neighborhood justice.

The sexual assault happened in broad daylight at around 1 p.m. in a building located at Creston Avenue and East 184 Street. That’s in the Fordham Heights neighborhood.

After surviving his sentence of mob justice, police are charging him with “first-degree attempted rape and burglary.” It didn’t take long after the alert was posted for the assailant to be caught.

Roughed him up

As reported by various media outlets, it was the very next day when “vigilante neighbors spotted the wanted man nearby after apparently recognizing him from the released footage.” They didn’t hesitate to take “matters into their own hands.

When law enforcement and civil officials won’t protect the citizens, they instinctively protect themselves. Vigilante justice has a long history in America.

Democrats shouldn’t mind too much because pure democracy in its raw form simply means “mob rule.

Police have become largely ornamental.

As related by the press, “the enraged locals allegedly grabbed Ramos at Tiebout Avenue and East 187th Street and roughed him up to the point that he needed medical care.” Their informal justice left him in need of a whole bunch of medical care.

The vigilantes didn’t name themselves but were responsible enough to notify police after sentencing and the execution of neighborhood justice was over. “Before hanging up, the caller told detectives they could find their suspect in the hospital.

Another of the group talked to reporters. “Yeah, we beat him up.” Raping old ladies won’t be accepted in the Bronx. “You don’t do that, that’s something you don’t do.” Swift justice awaits. “And if he comes back, I’m going to rock him again.
