Blunder-Prone Biden Taunts Iowa Voter’s Failed Marriage

When a candidate is campaigning and running for office, lashing out at voters is generally ill-advised, as is making fun of individuals at one’s political functions. Of course, these general rules have, once again, escaped the blunder-prone, gaffe-making Joe Biden.

Over the past few weeks, Biden has demonstrated to America that his fuse is shorter than that of a ticking time bomb. On multiple occasions, the former vice president chose to lash out at voters who dared to challenge him, even in the slightest.

Some of the most notorious examples include Biden daring one man to a push-up contest, calling someone who challenged him about Ukraine a “d*mn liar,” and Biden mocking the speech of a reporter who questioned his attacks against Bernie Sanders.

This weekend, the former vice president stepped in it yet again while campaigning in North Liberty, Iowa. After being repeatedly asked by an Iowan man on how to save his marriage, Biden lashed out, stating that he was “beginning to see” why the man’s wife dumped him, reports Washington Examiner.

The Confrontation at Biden’s Campaign Event

At some point during the 2020 Democrat’s address to voters, one man stood up and began speaking. Biden paused while the Iowan explained that his wife is divorcing him and questioned whether or not the former vice president had any advice.
In a somewhat dismissive manner, Biden stated that he’d speak with the voter after wrapping up his event. However, the Iowan man remained persistent, asking if he and the 2020 Democrat could “just get this out right now.”
Sizing up the man, Biden scoffed, stating that he was “beginning to see” why the Iowan man’s wife wasn’t staying with him. As the audience laughed, the former vice president shook his head, once again repeating that he’d “spend time” with the voter later on.

The Larger Issue with Biden and Other Democrats

If this incident were a one-off, it might be easier to excuse or explain away. However, as previously established, Biden has a history of lashing out at voters and reporters who challenge him in one way or another.
Just last week, the former vice president took heat for attacking someone who stated that he’d vote for Biden in the general election, but not necessarily in the primaries.
Unfortunately, Democrats have conned their base into viewing the left-wing as righteous and morally superior. In turn, this leads to the misguided belief that leftist politicians truly have the people’s best interests at heart and are committed to “saving” them.
In actuality, the left has no regard or respect for the people they claim to be fighting for; their only interests lie in saying whatever is necessary to obtain power and remain in office. If Democrats actually fixed the dilemmas they purport to be problematic, what would they run on during the next election season?

Sadly, the left continues to blur the line between the role of government and the role of individual responsibility. Biden has repeatedly shown that he doesn’t have an iota of respect for voters, especially those who are not 100% for him.
This is why Biden refused to be cordial towards a person who stated that he’d only vote for Biden in the general election. Biden’s lack of respect for voters also explains his mockery of someone’s failed marriage and decision to brand another voter as a “d*mn liar” after being asked about Ukraine.

TRUMP CREATES CORONAVIRUS TASK FORCE

As cases of the global coronavirus outbreak inch toward nearly 10,000, President Donald Trump has created a coronavirus task force to help combat the deadly and fast-spreading disease.
“The Task Force will lead the Administration’s efforts to monitor, contain, and mitigate the spread of the virus, while ensuring that the American people have the most accurate and up-to-date health and travel information,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement issued late Wednesday.

She said members of the task force, headed by Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, have been gathering daily since Monday. President Trump chaired Wednesday’s meeting and tweeted photos of officials meeting at the White House.
“Just received a briefing on the Coronavirus in China from all of our GREAT agencies, who are also working closely with China,” Trump said in the posting. “We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments. We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!”
Grisham’s statement said the task force includes “subject matter experts from the White House and several United States Government agencies, and it includes some of the Nation’s foremost experts on infectious diseases.”
Along with Azar, the group includes national security adviser Robert O’Brien, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Robert Redfield, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director and acting Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Ken Cuccinelli.
The creation of the task force comes in the wake of several disturbing reports regarding the coronavirus. According to the Moscow Times, Russia has closed its border with China over coronavirus fears. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order on Thursday to close the border, which he says will be carried out immediately.
Meanwhile, at the outbreak’s epicenter in China, the death toll has risen to 170, and the total cases there have now surpassed the total in the 2002-2003 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) epidemic. Beijing has expressed confidence in defeating the “devil” virus, but experts say this outbreak will have a major economic impact on China.
Closer to home, a high school in West Palm Beach, Florida was ordered shut down, and all of its students and staff sent home, when it was feared that a group of students and faculty on a field trip, may have been exposed to the virus.
The group from The Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens were at a model United Nations event at Yale University over the weekend, when a student fell ill with cough and fever. Testing indicated the flu, but because the student had come with a small group from China, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised additional testing for coronavirus. Yale cut its conference short and students headed home.
Currently, the World Health Organization is holding an emergency meeting to determine whether the virus should be deemed a global emergency.
