GOP Senator Ted Cruz shocked many liberals during an interview with conservative Daily Wire personality Michael Knowles by noting the stunning similarities between the radical environmentalist beliefs of certain comic book super villains and many progressive Democrats.

Cruz went on to explain that the common denominator between super-villains and radical Democrats is their mutual agreement that mankind is a ‘disease’ that has overpopulated the planet and must be reduced or wiped out.

As The Hill reports:


“Have you noticed in how many movies how often rabid environmentalists are the bad guys?” Cruz asked Knowles. “Whether it’s Thanos or go to ‘Watchmen.’ You know, where the view of the left is people are a disease. They buy into the Malthusian line that there are too many people in the world … and everything would be better if we had fewer people,” Cruz said.
The Malthusian theory Cruz referred to states that as the population increases, there won’t be enough food or other resources to sustain the population. 

Cruz said that Thanos, the villain of “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame,” wanting to wipe out 50 percent of all life in the universe is an example of rabid environmentalists being the bad guys…

Cruz has been at odds with Democrats on environmental issues, with the most recent clash being over President Biden’s proposal to halt work on the Keystone XL project.
