Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley warned President Joe Biden Wednesday that his pro-abortion policies are “an affront” to the “deeply held beliefs” of Americans.

The Missouri Republican called on Biden to reconsider his decision to rescind the Mexico City Policy, which prevents federal funds from going to abortions abroad. (RELATED: 77% Of Americans Oppose Taxpayer Funding Of Abortions Abroad, Poll Shows)

“For millions of pro-life Missourians, and millions more pro-life and religious conservatives across the country, your administration’s effort to compel American taxpayers to fund foreign organizations working to snuff out the lives of unborn children around the world is an affront to their most deeply-held beliefs,” Hawley wrote in a letter to the new president.

“Sadly, it provides further evidence that your appeals to unity were primarily words for a campaign – words that you appear to have little intention of putting into action,” he continued.

Hawley called the Mexico City Policy “common-sense” and ” an important safeguard” to ensuring that U.S. aid money will not be used by foreign nonprofit organizations  to “perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning.” (RELATED: ‘Deeply Disturbing’: Pro-Life Leaders Condemn Biden Funding Abortions Abroad With Taxpayer Dollars)

“Regardless of where one stands on the moral question of abortion, we should all be able to agree that resources entrusted to the federal government by American taxpayers should be used for the defense, betterment, and advancement of American lives and American values, not to subsidize the killing of unborn children abroad,” he wrote.

Hawley also highlighted Biden’s former record on abortion, calling it “perplexing” that Biden is making abortion a “top priority.”

“During your several decades in Congress, you regularly supported the Hyde Amendment – an important safeguard against federal funds being used to support abortion procedures domestically,” Hawley wrote. (RELATED: Here’s How Joe Biden Has Evolved On Abortion)

“Though you have recently changed your long-standing position on this issue,” he continued, “I must ask: How can you justify engaging in a taxpayer funded effort internationally that we have – in a bipartisan way, no less – long created safeguards against domestically in defense of life, liberty, and conscience?”

John Matze, the CEO of conservative social media platform Parler has been fired according to a memo sent by Matze.

Fox Business reports:

“On January 29, 2021, the Parler board controlled by Rebekah Mercer decided to immediately terminate my position as CEO of Parler. I did not participate in this decision,” Matze wrote. “I understand that those who now control the company have made some communications to employees and other third parties that have unfortunately created confusion and prompted me to make this public statement.”

Matze wrote that over the past few months he has been “met constant resistance” to his original vision for the social media platform following Amazon Web Services’ decision to shut Parler down for failure to moderate “egregious content” related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Over the past few months, I’ve met constant resistance to my product vision, my strong belief in free speech and my view of how the Parler site should be managed. For example, I advocated for more product stability and what I believe is a more effective approach to content moderation,” Matze wrote. “Over the past few weeks, I have worked endless hours and fought constant battles to get the Parler site running but at this point, the future of Parler is no longer in my hands. I want to thank the Parler employees, the people on Parler and Parler supporters for their tireless work and devotion to the company. They are an amazing group of diverse, hardworking and talented individuals and I have the utmost respect for them. Many of them have become my second family.”

Matze told staffers he will take a few weeks off before searching for a new venture.

However, as Matze claims he was suddenly kicked out of the company he helped build Fox News contributor and Parler co-owner Dan Bongino says there is more to the story. Bongino went to Facebook to say that Matze’s story “is not correct.”

Fox News reports:

“Folks, that’s not accurate, those are his statements not mine. I have no personal gripe against John, the CEO, at all, I want to be crystal clear, but John decided to make this public, not us, we were handling it like gentlemen,” Bongino said.

“We were the ones, in fact, fighting to get Parler back up. There was some really bad decisions made from people on the inside, and listen, this isn’t us airing dirty laundry. This is protecting a company that is absolutely committed to free speech, that I put the last year of my life into. Do you actually believe that someone else was on the side of free speech?”…

However, Bongino said there were “two separate visions for the company” and the “free speech vision” originated from Bongino and other owners of the company. Bongino repeatedly claimed throughout the video that Matze’s version of events isn’t accurate.

“I’m really pissed off right now,” Bongino said. “The relationship with Parler and the CEO did not work out because the CEO’s vision was not ours. Everybody clear on that? Our vision was crystal clear. We needed to get up and fight back, some terrible decisions were made in the past, that led us to getting put down by Amazon and others.”

Hunter Biden’s memoir “Beautiful Things” is coming to a bookstore near you this spring. The President’s son who is currently being investigated by the Justice Department is releasing a memoir on his struggles with substance abuse. Sadly, not the angle most Americans really care to read from the troubled Biden son. The book is being published by Gallery Books, which is owned by publishing company Simon & Schuster, the same company which recently canceled Senator Hawley’s upcoming book criticizing Big Tech after he objected to some state’s electoral votes for Joe Biden.

So, the company is comfortable associating with and praising Hunter Biden who’s widely known for substance issues, dubious overseas business dealings, his close associations with Russian oligarchs and CCP members but draws the line at working with a Republican United States Senator. An interesting choice to say the very least.

Fox News reports:

“In his harrowing and compulsively readable memoir, Hunter Biden proves again that anybody — even the son of a United States President — can take a ride on the pink horse down nightmare alley,” author Stephen King writes in a blurb. “Biden remembers it all and tells it all with a bravery that is both heartbreaking and quite gorgeous. He starts with a question: Where’s Hunter? The answer is he’s in this book, the good, the bad, and the beautiful.”

Biden has denied any wrongdoing in the DOJ investigation into his tax affairs.

Biden is reportedly splitting time between the Los Angeles area and Washington, D.C., while pursuing a career in art. Last year, an Arkansas judge ruled Hunter Biden is the “biological and legal father” of a child he fathered with an ex-stripper, contradicting the younger Biden’s previous denials that he had any role in the pregnancy.

The publishing company’s decision to drop Hawley’s book in the days after the attack on the Capitol but hold on to Biden’s as bombshell after bombshell about his behavior and career became public shows the crystal clear difference between the treatment of Republicans and Democrats. Democrats are praised with book deals and fame while any association with a conservative immediately puts a business at risk of losing money and open to an endless barrage of criticism.
