Deion Sanders Refuses to Stop Praying and Calling on Jesus Even as Atheist Group Wages War on Him

As was often the case throughout his Hall of Fame NFL career, University of Colorado football coach Deion Sanders doesn’t seem at all fazed by what his critics are saying about him.

Sanders, 55, recently drew the ire of the Freedom From Religion Foundation for “infusing” the Buffaloes football program “with Christianity.”“Multiple concerned Colorado residents have reached out to FFRF to report that CU’s new football coach Deion Sanders has been infusing his program with Christianity and engaging in religious exercises with players and staff members,” the atheist group’s letter to the school read. The group then cites several examples of what they deemed to be Sanders crossing a line.

Those incidents included beginning and ending meetings with prayer, which FFRF considered a crime so severe that it actually listed off several demands for Sanders and CU Boulder.

The demands included that Sanders “be educated as to his constitutional duties” and for the school to produce written notification that Sanders would no longer promote prayer.

According to The Center Square, the school’s executive vice chancellor, Patrick O’Rourke, claimed that Sanders “was very receptive” to an unspecified “training.Importantly, The Center Square also reports that the First Liberty Institute has filed, in effect, a counter-argument with the school.

“Coach Sanders does not lose his constitutional right to free exercise of religion simply because he is an employee at CU,” that rebuttal letter read.

It’s unclear if Sanders has seen that rebuttal on his behalf, but, at the very least, the loquacious head coach seems to be tacitly agreeing with the spirit of it.

Because Sanders has not slowed down his use of prayer or references to his faith since the FFRF complaint was originally filed on Jan. 24.Even a cursory glance at Sanders’ social media profiles shows that he is still loudly and proudly professing his faith.

“I Pray you have a Blessed day!” a tweet from Saturday read.

A couple of days before the above tweet, Sanders sent out a tweet thanking God.Why is there so much hatred & anger ? It’s somewhat because most of us had opportunity & we messed it up. When we see another person take advantage of the very thing that we were complacent & without focus we lose it. Thank God we have a God of second chances. #CoachPrime

“Thank God we have a God of second chances,” Sanders tweeted out.

Later that same day, Sanders praised God on Twitter.

“Life is Good but God is better,” Sanders tweeted.

Whatever comes of this minor controversy surrounding FFRF’s complaint about prayer has not diminished excitement over CU football. Despite finishing last year with just one win, Sanders’s palpable energy has generated a buzz in the college football community.

Sanders’ first game as the Colorado head coach will come on Sept. 2, when they travel to face Texas Christian. This article appeared originally on The Western Journal.

Democrats have developed an awful habit of attempting to change the definitions of words.

Any time they need to back up their Leftist narrative or cover up their failures they simply change the English language to best suit their needs.

And now this Democrat’s new definition of the term “genocide” will put your jaw on the floor.Up is down, left is right, lies are truth, and life is death.

These are the times we live in, where radical Leftists, aided by Big Tech and Big Corporate Media spend every day trying to change the very language we speak to fit their warped view of the world.

Democrats’ racism on full display

And according to Minnesota Democrat State Representative Heather Keeler, “white Christians” who adopt Native American orphan babies are somehow continuing “genocide.”

In a recent Facebook meltdown, Keeler, who is a member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe, claimed that it is a “sad day” when “white Christians” – whom she so lovingly refers to as “white saviors” – adopt American Indian children because they don’t really care about helping Native American babies.“I’m sick of white Christians adopting our babies and rejoicing,” Keller ranted. “It’s a really sad day when that happens. It means the genocide continues.”

Apparently, as far as she is concerned, when “white Christians” adopt orphaned Native American children, and give them a home and a loving family, they are somehow “stealing” the children and committing the ultimate atrocity of “changing their names.”

“If you care about our babies, advocate against the genocide,” she continued. “Help the actual issues impacting indigenous parents, stop stealing our babies and changing their names under the impression you are helping. White saviors are the worst!”

Minnesota-based media outlet Alpha News obtained a screenshot of the post, which Keller made on a private personal page, ultimately bringing her racist rant to light. But once her views became public, the Minnesota Democrat simply doubled down.

In a post on her public Facebook page associated with her role as a state legislator, Keller claimed white people adopting Native American babies strips them of their “identity,” and according to her, that’s simply a “form of genocide.”

This is nothing new

The Republican Party of Minnesota responded to Keller’s “racist rant,” condemning her “hateful and extremist rhetoric.”

“There is no place in our political discourse for attacks on Minnesotans’ race or religions,” the Minnesota GOP wrote in a statement. “We condemn this hateful and extremist rhetoric in the strongest possible terms and call on all Democrats to do the same.”Of course, if you’re thinking Democrats will condemn this racist nonsense, you simply haven’t been paying attention.

Keller’s rant is simply the latest in a long line of virtually identical racist rants other Democrats have gone on in the past.

In fact, after it was revealed that Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett had adopted two Haitian children during her Senate confirmation hearings, many Democrats claimed it was perpetuating colonization and accused white parents of children of color of using them as “props” to trick people into thinking they’re not racist.

“Some White colonizers “adopted” Black children,” radical left-wing racist Ibram X. Kendi tweeted at the time.

“They “civilized” these “savage” children in the “superior” ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity.”

“And whether this is Barrett or not is not the point,” he added. “It is a belief too many White people have: if they have or adopt a child of color, then they can’t be racist. I’m challenging the idea that White parents of kids of color are inherently ‘not racist’ and the bots completely change what I’m saying to ‘White parents of kids of color are inherently racist.’ These live and fake bots are good at their propaganda. Let’s not argue with them.”

For years now, Democrats have been fostering and outright advocating for racism – it’s part of their “divide and conquer” strategy to keep the American people at each other’s throats rather than seeing that the real enemy are the ruling class elites.

They try to keep it muted and obfuscate their real intentions, but anytime a left-wing radical, like Keller or Kendi, is given an opportunity, they tend to spill the beans.

And Minnesota Democrat State Rep. Heather Keeler is certainly a racist, and that means when it comes to the Democrats, she fits right in.

Informed American will keep you up-to-date on any developments to this ongoing story.

Judge Rules Human Embryos are ‘Chattel’

Frozen human embryos can legally be considered property, or “chattel,” a Virginia judge has ruled, basing his decision in part on a 19th century law governing the treatment of slaves. The preliminary opinion by Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge Richard Gardiner – delivered in a long-running dispute between a divorced husband and wife – is being criticized by some for wrongly and unnecessarily delving into a time in Virginia history when it was legally permissible to own human beings.

“It’s repulsive and it’s morally repugnant,” said Susan Crockin, a lawyer and scholar at Georgetown University’s Kennedy Institute of Ethics and an expert in reproductive technology law.Solomon Ashby, president of the Old Dominion Bar Association, a professional organization made up primarily of African American lawyers, called Gardiner’s ruling troubling.

“I would like to think that the bench and the bar would be seeking more modern precedent,” he said.

Gardiner did not return a call to his chambers Wednesday. His decision, issued last month, is not final: He has not yet ruled on other arguments in the case involving Honeyhline and Jason Heidemann, a divorced couple fighting over two frozen embryos that remain in storage.Honeyhline Heidemann, 45, wants to use the embryos. Jason Heidemann objects.

Initially, Gardiner sided with Jason Heidemann. The law at the heart of the case governs how to divide “goods and chattels.” The judge ruled that because embryos could not be bought or sold, they couldn’t be considered as such and therefore Honeyhline Heidemann had no recourse under that law to claim custody of them. But after the ex-wife’s lawyer, Adam Kronfeld, asked the judge to reconsider, Gardiner conducted a deep dive into the history of the law. He found that before the Civil War, it also applied to slaves. The judge then researched old rulings that governed custody disputes involving slaves, and said he found parallels that forced him to reconsider whether the law should apply to embryos.

In a separate part of his opinion, Gardiner also said he erred when he initially concluded that human embryos cannot be sold.

“As there is no prohibition on the sale of human embryos, they may be valued and sold, and thus may be considered ‘goods or chattels,’” he wrote.Crockin said she’s not aware of any other judge in the U.S. who has concluded that human embryos can be bought and sold. She said the trend, if anything, has been to recognize that embryos have to be treated in a more nuanced way than as mere property.

Ashby said he was baffled that Gardiner felt a need to delve into slavery to answer a question about embryos, even if Virginia case law is thin on how to handle embryo custody questions.“Hopefully, the jurisprudence will advance in the commonwealth of Virginia such that … we will no longer see slave codes” cited to justify legal rulings, he said.

Neither of the Heidemanns’ lawyers ever raised the slavery issue. They did raise other arguments in support of their cases, however.

Jason Heidemann’s lawyers said allowing his ex-wife to implant the embryos they created when they were married “would force Mr. Heidemann to procreate against his wishes and therefore violate his constitutional right to procreational autonomy.”Honeyhline Heidemann’s lawyer, Kronfeld, argued that Honeyhline’s right to the embryos outweighs her ex-husband’s objections, partly because he would have no legal obligations to be their parent and partly because she has no other options to conceive biological children after undergoing cancer treatments that made her infertile.

Kronfeld also argued that the initial separation agreement the couple signed in 2018 already treated the embryos as property when they concurred — under a subheading titled “Division of Personal Property” — that the embryos would remain in cryogenic storage until a court ordered otherwise.

Gardiner has not yet ruled on the argument over Jason Heidemann’s procreational autonomy.
