OOPS: Teens Rob Dicks’ Sporting Goods On Way To Championship Match… In Sheriff Grady’s County

Eight kids never got to suit up for the big game...

There’s dumb decisions, and there’s whatever you’d call this. What you might be able to get away with in Philly will NOT fly in Polk County.

The simple facts of the case?

Eight teenagers from the Philadelphia area are facing felony charges in Florida after authorities say they stole more than $2,000 worth of merchandise from a sporting goods store.

The alleged theft happened Saturday morning in Polk County, where the teens had traveled to play in a youth football championship game.

The suspects, ages 14 and 15, are members of Philly’s United Thoroughbreds team. — 6ABC

Sheriff Grady gives a far more colorful report than the ‘just the facts’ in the lines above.

He named and shamed the coach who was enabling this shameful behavior… first he begged for pity and leniency from the cops. When he didn’t get any, the coach begged the store not to press charges, despite the 8 teens having stolen over $2,000 worth of goods from the store.

What did the coach do then? He got indignant with the police, as though it was their fault the teens he was responsible had coordinated a significant theft of about 47 items from a sporting goods store.

We at ClashDaily are not even particularly big defenders of Dicks, since they’re about as woke as it gets. This is about the rule of law.

Do you have anything better to do? Actually, unlike Philly maybe not. Because bad guys actually get arrested in Polk County.
