Trump tells Trudeau Canada could become 51st state after the PM complained about his tariffs

The president-elect’s meeting with the Canadian prime minister took an unexpected turn when a “gangster” suggestion was posed if the northern neighbor needed to keep “ripping off the U.S.”

“I’m literally giddy right now.”

President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House is still well over a month away, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting the ball rolling on negotiations to “Make America Great Again.” This included hosting Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau whose concern over proposed tariffs had the GOP leader suggesting the red and white maple leaf flag come to represent a 51st state.

According to sources that spoke with Fox News after Trudeau’s trip to Mar-a-Lago Friday, Trump sparked nervous laughter from the Canadian entourage with his alternative solution should the Great White North falter doubly in responding to the president-elect’s border demands.

As a 25% tariff had been threatened should Canada fail to curb illegal entry into the United States and drug trafficking, Fox News reported, “Trudeau told Trump he cannot levy the tariff because it would kill the Canadian economy completely. Trump replied — asking, so your country can’t survive unless it’s ripping off the U.S. to the tune of $100 billion?”

“Trump then suggested to Trudeau that Canada become the 51st state, which caused the prime minister and others to laugh nervously,” according to sources.

“Holysht [sic] I just spit out my drink. Everybody now: GANGSTER!” reacted one X account as another responded to the negotiating move, “I’m literally giddy right now.”

Of course, the president-elect didn’t let up there as it was further detailed that Trump commented prime minister is a better title while noting Trudeau could still be governor.

When it was suggested Canada would be quite liberal as a state, the once and future commander-in-chief was said to suggest a split for a red Canada and a blue Canada to add two states to the union.

As previously covered, the dinner was said to have lasted roughly three hours and further delved into topics of defense, NATO and Ukraine, energy, China, and next year’s scheduled G7 meeting set to be held in Canada.

Trump proposed days earlier, prompting a call for Trudeau within hours, that the tariff on “ALL products” would “remain in effect until such time as Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country! Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem. We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!”

Since the meeting, Canadian Minister of Public Safety Dominic LeBlanc, who was in attendance, said, “We got, I think, a mutual understanding of what they’re concerned about in terms of border security,” as the process to beef up efforts had already begun — a stark contrast to Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s warning of “a response in kind” to Trump’s tariffs.

While Canadian guests at the dinner referred to the meeting as “very friendly and very positive” without mention of the proposed expansion of the United States, it was also made clear that “Trump delivered the message that he expected change by January 20.”

The apparent no-nonsense negotiating tactic that showed the president-elect’s preparedness to hold his ground after setting the terms was exactly the style of leadership that many had missed in his time away from the Oval Office, and reactions were absolutely ready for more.

Would Trump accept a Hunter-like ‘everything’ pardon from Biden? Can Joe pardon himself? December 3, 2024 | Vivek Saxena | Print Article

Would Trump accept a Hunter-like ‘everything’ pardon from Biden? Can Joe pardon himself?

With President Joe Biden having pardoned his scandal-plagued son, Hunter, some have begun to wonder who he might pardon next.

One theory championed by Daily Mail columnist Dan McLaughlin says that Biden may very well pardon HIMSELF next.

In fact, some on cable TV have already called for the president to do exactly that — and more:

McLaughlin’s theory is based on all the brazen lies the president has told regarding his involvement with his son’s illicit activities.

“In 2019, Biden claimed that he’d ‘never spoken’ with his son about ‘his overseas business dealings,'” McLaughlin notes. “He later claimed to have never met Hunter’s business associates. Both a lie.”

“When he debated Donald Trump in 2020, Biden claimed that ‘my son has not made money in terms of this thing about… China.’ A lie. He called Hunter’s laptop ‘a Russian plant.’ A lie,” McLaughlin continues.

The theory is also based on how Biden has begun to “cover his tracks” by pardoning his son, the number one individual that could get him in trouble.

McLaughlin rightly points to one of the emails on Hunter’s infamous laptop that described “10 [percent] held by H for the big guy.” Hunter’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski later confirmed that the “big guy” was none other than Hunter’s father.

McLaughlin also notes how in 2020, then-Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden’s “campaign enlisted former heads of intelligence agencies to back up the false claim that the laptop was a plant.”

“The Justice Department under Biden let the statute of limitations run out on influence-peddling charges, and IRS whistleblowers revealed how it had throttled their probes into Biden family business,” he writes.

Another prominent theory is that the president may pardon his predecessor/successor, President-elect Donald Trump.

On Monday, Fox News host Laura Ingraham floated the theory to Trump’s senior adviser Jason Miller.

“Jason, would Donald Trump accept a pardon from Joe Biden?” she asked on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.”

“At this point, I don’t know what Joe Biden is gonna pull,” Miller replied. “I think it’s nonsense. If it’s some aspect of some PR play, he might try to do it. But President Trump did absolutely nothing wrong. That’s why everything is disappearing. That’s why he’s focused on actually serving for this second term here.”

What he meant when he said “everything is disappearing” is that all the previous charges against Trump are being thrown out or delayed as per his election to office.

Ingraham continued the discussion by asking the question again.

“Wait, would President Trump say ‘no’ to a pardon, though?” she asked. “Come on.”

“I’m not gonna go and put words in the president’s mouth,” Miller responded. “Everyone sees exactly what’s going on. This is a complete media manipulation by Joe Biden.”

Others have speculated that the next set of pardons won’t come from Biden but rather from a now-emboldened Trump.

Fox News legal editor Kerri Urbahn argued on Monday that Biden’s pardon of his son gives Trump plenty of room to issue his own pardons, whether it’s for Jan. 6th rioters or even himself.

“My takeaway from all of this is that this is actually fantastic, politically speaking, for Donald Trump,” she said. “Joe Biden has lowered the bar so much here in offering this pardon to Hunter Biden that I think Donald Trump will be able to pardon a whole host of people, including January 6th, without necessarily the pushback he would have received otherwise.”

“Of course, the people in the media will complain because they always do. But like, what can they point to at this point? So you have that. Maybe he could even explore a preemptive pardon for himself. And then, of course, he doesn’t just now have a mandate from the American people in cleaning up the justice system who are sick of lawfare. Now, he has it from President Biden, too,” she added.

“So they all agree that there is a problem in the justice system. The pardons are going to become a lot easier. And also, Joe Biden just pulled the ultimate move in overriding the DOJ, which, of course, in the past, people would go crazy if Donald Trump had anything to say about what the Department of Justice was doing. So I personally think President Biden just made things a whole lot easier for Donald Trump going into term two,” she concluded.

Jill Biden unveils White House ‘clown show’ Christmas decor and the reviews are savage

It’s the last Christmas that the Biden family’s stockings will be hung from the White House chimney with care and First Lady Jill Biden unveiled the building’s holiday decor for the final time before the crooked clan retreats to Delaware for good.

On Monday, the day after Santa Claus came early for Hunter Biden in the form of a sweeping pardon for all crimes that he’s “committed or may have committed” for the last decade courtesy of his dad, Mrs. Biden spoke at an event to officially ring in the Christmas season in all of its resplendence at the outgoing First Family’s residence.

The first lady delivered holiday greetings to mark this year’s theme of a “season of peace and light,” an odd choice considering how her husband Joe Biden seems to be hellbent on bringing anything but peace to the world by greenlighting Ukraine to use U.S.-provided missiles to strike Russia and potentially light up the planet with the glow of a nuclear apocalypse.

According to Axios, more than 300 volunteers pitched in to support the effort that features 83 Christmas trees, more than 28,125 ornaments, and 165,075 holiday lights, and while there was much to admire, some were just plain butt-ugly.

Shared pictures of some of the decor left an impression as sour as spoiled eggnog, demonstrating a truly tacky taste that X users likened to a “clown show” among other unflattering reviews of Mrs. Biden’s handiwork.

“Jill Biden’s Christmas decorations look like what would happen if a group of circus clowns projectile vomitted all over the White House, which I guess is the perfect metaphor to sum up the last four years,” one critic remarked.

Other reviews were also pretty savage, perhaps it’s the merry-go-round.

Some users are already looking forward to next Christmas when Melania Trump will be back in charge of the White House decorations which were a picture of holiday class during her four years as first lady.

If there’s one positive for this year’s Biden Yuletide, it’s that the “clown” show Christmas is nowhere near as off-the-charts repulsive as 2023 was, the gayest Nutcracker of all performed by a dance troupe that had serious grievances with “white privilege.”

“The holidays have always held a special place in our hearts, and we’ve loved opening the doors of the People’s House wider and wider each year, continuing the spirit of goodwill and gratitude,” Joe and Jill Biden said in a welcome letter to visitors.

“At the holidays, Americans come together every year in fellowship and faith, reminding us that we are stronger as a community than we are apart. The strength of our country, and the soul of our Nation, come from you. May the promise of this ‘Season of Peace and Light’ guide your path forward,” the First Couple added.First Lady Jill Biden’s Christmas decorations had some X users observing that she made the White House look like a clown show.
