MUST SEE: Veteran OBGYN Speaks Out, SLAMS ‘Sick’ New York Law For Abortions Up To Birth

1
What comes to your mind when you hear the word “sick?” How about “evil?” Most people would probably imagine something as outlandish as torturing puppies, dolphins, or babies.
So, imagine the surprise and outrage the resulted from a new law passed in New York that basically decriminalizes abortion up to the moment of birth and no longer makes it necessary that a doctor be the one performing it.
Veteran OB/GYN Omar Hamada is disgusted by this new law and went as far as to say that the Democrats who have celebrated it are “sick.” You can read more about it in an article from Red State:
In response to the stunning legislation courtesy of those who otherwise oppose the death penalty, OB/GYN Omar Hamada took to Fox & Friends Monday to call the law and the Left’s embrace of it — highlighted by Cuomo ordering One World Trade Center to be lit pink in recognition of a great victory — “sick.”
“You know, that’s actually sick. I mean, that we’re celebrating the death of infants, of babies that could live outside of the womb right then.”
Omar noted the irony of such a commemoration, given a little-known component of the 9/11 memorial:
“In fact, at the base of the World Trade Center, I don’t know if you know this, but there is a memorial to 9/11 that, in which is listed the names of the victims and then also the fetuses. I think there were four or six fetuses that were killed. And they list those as victims. Now they’re celebrating that they’re able to take the lives of those [fetuses].”
WATCH:
Omar’s claim that it’s ironic to list fetuses as victims, and then also to celebrate killing fetuses, has merit.
It’s not just shocking, but morally reprehensible. If you don’t believe me, check out some of the comments from the twitter storm that followed:
A resident of New York was so distraught over the new law and so disgusted with the “celebratory reactions” of Democrats that resulted that he closed his store in protest. The Blaze talks about his reasoning below:
Jon Speed owns a store called The Book Scout. He was distraught by the passage of the Reproductive Health Act on Tuesday, as well as the celebratory reactions to the law legalizing abortions as late as 24 weeks into a pregnancy.
“The bookstore is closed today,” Speed wrote on Facebook. “It is a day of mourning in New York. In honor of the thousands of babies that will die in the years to come, we shall not be collecting sales tax for this tyrannical government today. We will on other days, under duress, but not today.”
There are, of course, some liberals that don’t really get what the outrage is all about. I mean, don’t we all understand that having a baby could make my life SO MUCH HARDER? In this BBC article the author gives many different accounts of why it should be justified for a woman to get an abortion:
Ms Marchesano says she finds it “incredibly frustrating” that it is so difficult for people to access abortion later in their pregnancy.
While abortion is covered by the Medicaid health programme in New York, she says people “hit a funding wall” beyond 24 weeks.
“They take on a considerable financial burden when they have to travel out-of-state. The cost of travel, child care, lost wages, accommodation add up on top of the cost of the procedure.”
Gosh. I’ll have to travel to be able to kill my baby?  I’ll have to pay money? And I might have to miss Grey’s Anatomy? Meh.
Children are so inconvenient, aren’t they? Seriously though, I’m not sure if I’m more offended by this idiotic argumentation or even the title of the BBC article itself (New York Abortion Law: Why Are So Many People Talking About It).
Maybe everyone is talking about it because they agree with OB/GYN Omar Hamada, who finds it SO incredibly sick?
