Joe Biden was for certifying the election before he was against it...

HeadlineFLASHBACK: Joe Biden promised not to declare victory until election is "independently certified"

What's Up: Joe Biden, the Democrats, and most of the media have been pushing the country to call the election in Biden's favor despite the fact that not one state has officially certified the results of last week's voting. And Mr. Biden is now being reminded of the time, just a few weeks ago, when he advocated for waiting to call the election until the results had been "independently certified."

Quote: "'Once the winner is declared after all of the ballots are counted, all of the votes are counted, that will be the end of it. That will be the end of it. And if it’s me, in fact, fine. If it’s not me, I’ll support the outcome.'" — Joe Biden from the first presidential debate

The First take: Joe Biden's memory issues were repeatedly called into question during the campaign. In this instance, Biden should not have too much trouble recalling the moment in the first presidential debate when he was in favor of waiting to declare an unverified winner. Now? Well, you know...

Giuliani claims 650,000 votes were illegally cast in two cities in PA

HeadlineGiuliani: 650,000 Votes Were Counted Unlawfully In Philadelphia And Pittsburgh

What's Up: With 20 Electoral votes on the line, Pennsylvania has become the center of Trump's fight to overtake Joe Biden's lead. Mr. Trump's legal team is being led by Rudy Giuliani who claims they have gathered proof in the form of sworn testimony and videos which a court needs to see.

Quote: "While mail-in ballots were being counted, GOP Pittsburgh observers were 'kept out of the room or kept away from the room' for a period of 24 hours, Giuliani alleged." — Zero Hedge

The First take: President Trump's legal team is fighting their battle against the clock as several state are still counting votes both mail-in and provisional ballots. While the most loyal Trump supporters are repeating Giuliani's claims, we remind everyone, the only opinions that will matter here will likely to belong to nine people in black robes.

Karl Rove op-ed pooh-poohs Trump legal challenges to election results

HeadlineKarl Rove: Trump lawsuits won't change election's outcome

What's Up: Once-vaunted political prognosticator Karl Rove penned an opinion piece in Wednesday's Wall Street Journal calling the president's efforts to alter the current track of the vote counting in a few states futile and unlikely to yield a positive result for Mr. Trump.

Quote: "'There is no evidence of that so far,' Rove wrote. 'Unless some emerges quickly, the President's chances in court will decline precipitously when states start certifying results.'"— Karl Rove via the Wall Street Journal

The First take: Karl Rove has stated it is Mr Trump's right to pursue every legal option available to him. And Rove did not actually call for President Trump to surrender and concede the election. So... we wonder, why write the opinion piece saying the effort would not be successful?

Promoter wants a negative COVID test or vaccine proof to attend events

HeadlineTicketmaster Plans To Require Negative COVID Test Or Vaccine To Attend Events

What's Up: Interested in attending a concert, sporting event or maybe even a Broadway show? You might be asked to provide proof of a recent (24-72hr) negative test for the COVID-19 virus or proof you have received a vaccine before you are permitted to enter the venue. One of the nation's largest promoters and ticket sellers is preparing for this to become reality in a post-pandemic world.

Quote: "'As part of that preparation, Ticketmaster has been working on a framework for post-pandemic fan safety that uses smart phones to verify fans’ vaccination status or whether they’ve tested negative for the coronavirus within a 24 to 72 hour window,' reported the outlet." — DailyWire.com

The First take: "Welcome to the theater, can I see your papers?" Is anyone else feeling like we've just stepped into an Orwellian world where the GOV'T (and some very large private businesses) have a crossed a line as it concerns our personal information? It seems like only yesterday we were hearing Democrats railing against police near the southern border asking to see proof of citizenship during traffic stops. Walk carefully, friends. We appear to standing on the proverbial "slippery slope."
