Caring About Their Urgent Needs

Dear Carl,

We are partners in a miracle work. What we are doing is beyond human understanding or explanation. Only God's favor could open the doors to allow us to do what we have done to bless and defend His Chosen People. Only His power could remove the obstacles and allow us to build a great lighthouse of Christian love in the Holy City. Right now Israel is facing grave and growing threats, and the Jewish people urgently need our help.

We are now working on the completion of an on-site kitchen facility at your Friends of Zion Center. We are building this massive commercial kitchen—fully kosher with separate areas for dairy, meat, and fish preparation—so it can be used to feed Holocaust survivors, IDF soldiers, event attendees, museum guests and staff. This project includes finishing the underground space we have set aside for this purpose...and it would cost almost 4 times as much to build the same facility above ground...and completely equip the kitchen, staff areas and offices.

This is a massive project, but it will allow us to do so much more, and we believe the investment is worth it. At the same time, we must also continue all of our other work—the delivery of food to thousands of poor Holocaust survivors, the global prayer outreach, the Ambassador Institute program and so much more. The only way we can do that is with the help of friends like you.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Whether You Feel Like it or Not

Today, if you will hear His voice: Do not harden your hearts.
—Psalm 95:7-8 NKJV

In order to live in God’s favor, you must learn to walk by faith rather than feelings. As famed evangelist D.L. Moody once said, “Obedience means marching right on whether we feel like it or not. Many times we go against our feelings. Faith is one thing, feeling is another.” The apostle Paul affirmed this when he wrote, “We walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV).

When you’ve committed your life to Radical Obedience, you move when God says “Go” and stop when He says “Stop.” Abraham exemplified this beautifully when he obeyed God’s instruction to leave his homeland and set out for an unknown destination. God’s call seems to have come when Abraham was going about his usual activities, and the Lord said: “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you” (Genesis 12:1 NLT).

What is God calling you to do today? Your obedience will unlock His blessings and His favor.
