Taliban Mocks Iconic Iwo Jima Photo

And in the process, creates the Biden Monument.

Fox News reported Saturday that “a Taliban fighting unit called the Badri 313 Battalion was spotted patrolling Afghanistan with U.S.-made gear, and posting one photo appearing to mock the iconic World War II photo, Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima.” If we had a sane political culture in America today, which of course we do not, the Taliban’s Iwo Jima mummery would be cast in bronze and set in some prominent place in Washington, and called the Biden Monument, as an everlasting reminder of the betrayal and fecklessness of Biden’s handlers’ administration.

The Fox report explained that “propaganda videos posted this week on channels affiliated with the Taliban show soldiers in the little-known Badri 313 Battalion carrying U.S. and U.S. ally-made weapons and gear that appear to be stolen from allied militaries while patrolling parts of Kabul. In one propaganda photo, members of the Badri 313 Battalion are seen hoisting a Taliban flag in a similar fashion to the six U.S. Marines who raised the U.S. flag on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945.”

This is Joe Biden’s legacy: the equipping of the Taliban, the outfitting of the Taliban, the spectacle of the Taliban strutting around bragging that they have defeated the world’s lone superpower – this is what just eight months of the Biden administration have given us. And as journalist Shiv Aroor of India Today observed, “With the Taliban now in power, there is every reason to believe the militia could grow in strength.Expect to see much more of the Badri 313 in the weeks and months ahead.”

Yes. As Fox News noted, “the U.S. gave Afghan forces an estimated $28 billion in weaponry between 2002 and 2017. But now, ‘everything that hasn’t been destroyed is the Taliban’s now,’ a U.S. official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, told Reuters.” That amounts to a great deal, but not even Biden’s handlers are sure of the scope of the catastrophe. The Times of Israel reported Saturday that “Washington is still attempting to gauge the scope of United States weaponry and technology that have fallen into the hands of the Taliban following Afghanistan’s fall to the militants, though it is believed to be considerable. Materiel the Islamist group is believed to have gained includes hundreds of thousands of assault rifles, thousands of armored vehicles, dozens of aircraft, tanks, artillery, sniper rifles, night-vision goggles and much more.”

The Taliban reportedly don’t have the expertise to operate all of this, but they’ll be able to make use of a lot of it. But as with the Iwo Jima parody photo, it’s the symbolic value that counts. Matthew Henman of Janes explained: “These seizures have more propaganda value for the Taliban than any real leveling-up of capabilities.” The Taliban’s capabilities may be being underestimated, but whether they are or not, there is no doubt that the propaganda value of all this is immense.

Are Biden’s handlers really this inept? Or is Lara Logan’s assertion to Tucker Carlson, “the United States wants this outcome,” more likely? Either way, this is the world they have given us: one in which American power is mocked, American wealth is squandered and falls into the hands of our enemies, and even the images of our finest hour become the linchpin for ridicule in one of our worst eras. Back in February, the Associated Press reported happily that “collective sighs of relief could be heard from many European capitals Saturday after U.S. President Joe Biden made clear in his first major foreign policy address since taking office that he rejected the ‘America First’ and transactional approach of his predecessor and urged cooperation among Western allies.” Germany’s Der Spiegel was just as relieved: “Biden gave exactly the speech that many Europeans wanted to hear – an America that pats you on the shoulders, that doesn’t criticize or demand.”

Now we see yet again, in the most vivid illustration of this since the Benghazi jihad massacre, what happens in the world when we don’t have an American president who puts America first. But Donald Trump was an anomaly, which is why the entire political and media establishment ganged up on him and did everything it could to make sure he would leave office on January 20, 2021. On that day, we were promised that “America is back!” But the America that has come back is self-defeating, confused, and justly the object of ridicule. If America survives the Biden era as a free nation, that Biden Monument should indeed be erected in Washington, as a cautionary tale of the costs of departing from the “America First” principle.

Biden, the democrats in power, their allies of the communists, progressives, socialists and leftists, have joined together and brought nothing but shame to America, how pleased they must be in everything they have done.

Allies? This entire administration is comprised of far left radicals and they have absolutely no restraint. They have what they've always wanted but could never seize without massive election fraud; unrestrained power to enact their oilkophobic and racist policies . While they punish domestic enemies (the overwhelming majority of us) while they empower our enemies: the Taliban, China, the European Union, Latin America, et al.

Yes, they are pleased.

They are the evil spoken of in the scriptures written of for today's world, evil has to be exposed for it to be killed off and that is what we are seeing. The hard part is that the evil will kill simply because that is what they are all about, destruction is their goal and they seem to think none of that destruction will touch them. Much of the people in the world today are just like you and me, we work hard to make a living for our family and want to get along with our neighbors, but there are those who have the control syndrome and they make that their entire existence. They turn into crappy people and only want their kind in power under them. Their time is short but they want to make as much misery in this world as they can before they exit the place. Sad, but true. You have great day.

I am making $92/hour telecommuting. I never imagined that it was honest to goodness yet my closest companion is earning $21 thousand a month by working on the web, that was truly shocking for me, she prescribed me to attempt it. simply give it a shot on the accompanying site---------------https://Www.NetCash1.Com

The prospect of Islam placing the Biden Monument on the grave of the Western Civilization as an everlasting reminder of its triumph over Christianity is much more realistic.

Democrats thought when Biden said he would 'Build Back Better' he meant America...not the Taliban’s military.

"Tear down worse." That was always the intent and it's the result.

Or "the Swamp is back," but I like your slogan better. And let's face it, opposition to MAGA is quite literally "America last."
Make America Get Annihilated.

It was deliberate. That was obvious from day one. The military got all that hardware and infrastructure into Afghanistan in the first place and could've got it out. The Dirtbagocrat excuse about cost is so ridiculous it's surreal but they're shameless, as we know. Since when have the D-Bags been concerned with fiscal responsibility? Quite the opposite. Tax and waste is their credo. Just look at the TRILLIONS they've spent on graft and anti American policies in the last seven months, with plans to waste trillions more. Not billions but TRILLIONS.

But don’t forget, Bush got us IN with his fantasy of nation building and playing God in a society that doesn’t understand democracy or legal niceties. Both parties are superficial and stupid only the Dems are only a little bit more down the drain.

That is such BS. Obama expanded the mission in Afghanistan.

At least half wrong. Bush- for all his backstabbing lately- and public opinion got us in not based on the fantasy of nation building but on the very painful reality that Islamic terrorists had killed thousands in the American homeland in an act of war, that Osama Bin Laden and AQ were responsible, and that the Taliban had enabled him and would not turn him over when demanded.

We can talk all day about what we decided to do and the fantasies we held after getting in, but the idea that we only got involved because of nation building dreams is a blood libel fantasy and an insult to those of us who remember 9/11.

Badri 313…hmm. That must be a reference to the Battle of Badar when Muhammad with an army of 313 defeated a Meccan army about a thousand strong.

Senile and corrupt Biden is just typical of post modern America .This is a before Suez/ After Suez moment when a world power ceases to be and recceeds into obscurity

This is the calm before the storm as the Biden Cabal are spineless, totally incompetent, and paralysed by indecision .. Kabul airport is a potential rat trap and the Taliban can spring the door closed anytime they like by bringing up American left artillery and mortaring the runway ; then no one gets out without their say so

Every Jihadist in the entire region are heading to Kabul for a final showdown with the West .This could turn into the greatest Muslim victory over a western army since the fall of Kut El Amara in Iraq back in 1916

Indecision? Dementia Joe's shadow cabinet have gotten exactly what they wanted. An Afghanistan ruled by a heavily armed Taliban.

And Imam Obama's former people ,along with the rest of Dementia Joe's Shadow Cabinet, have no restraint. At least when the Zero was Queen, his administration showed a modicum of restraint. It tried to conceal its perfidy and limit its crimes to what it thought it could get away with. Brokeback demanded that he look good to the public above all else. He wanted a "legacy."

Not so with this illegitimate administration. Dementia Joe doesn't even control his bowel movements, much less the administration that CONTROLS HIM. No one person or cabal are in control. It's chaos, and the toy soldier, career politicians in the Pentagon and Department of Defense are completely servile to the traitors who mismanage Dementia Joe's shadow cabinet.

He may be demented but he knows to be a hack at all times. He's so demented he doesn't even know he isn't in charge. He thought that disregarding a Secret Service agent's aid and wandering off into the White House bushes was an act of command, not that he remembers doing it. On top of being a senile scumbag, he's one of those stolid old farts who think being a contrarian to reason and courtesy means he's in charge. And yet he's easily manipulated by his handlers. "Squint your beady rat eyes and read these lies to the public, Diaper Joe. Make sure to do that thing were you shake your fist impotently. Eat this vanilla ice cream cone, Slow Joe. It'll help your next bowel movement so your nurse caregivers can change your adult diapers. Stand here. Come along. Don't answer any unscripted questions. Fetch, boy, fetch!"

I remember all the arguments they made early on. Bush oversold the terror threat so he could wage of war of choice and trade blood for oil. Fighting the war on terrorism only creates more terrorists. Looks like they were wrong. I wonder what else they got wrong. Now they say don't politicize it. It would have been really nice if they said that in 2003.

Biden talks about not loosing another one of America's sons or daughters in war. That didn't stop him from doubling the murders with defund the police. They talk about the money wasted. That doesn't stop them with their ambition. I wonder if Biden will become a general noun, describing something that messes up without a fight, like "Things are going great. Just make sure you don't hire another biden."

American forces should be moved back into Kabul and destroy all of the Taliban they can find, then find their leaders and give them the martyrdom they crave. My late Fathers two first cousins were on Suribachi giving cover fire to those raising the flag. The generation that fought WW2 would hang Biden from a flagpole and all of the traitors following him. Dark days ahead............William

The Afghanistan Papers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bixeuaa2r58

50 years ago I read the Pentagon Papers about the US debacle in Vietnam. From what I've seen so far the US repeated the same mistakes.

The biggest mistake was occupying the country in the first place. The second is 20 years of lies to the American public.

The one thing Trump got right was to get out of Afghanistan. The biggest mistake Obama made was not to pull the plug in 2009.

Will you learn this time around?
