"Total disaster" and "bungled from the get-go" are apt descriptors of Joe Biden's Afghanistan insanity. However, worth noting is the U.S. bishops' total silence on his chaotic approach. It's worth noting because, without a single life being lost (indeed, many actually being saved), Donald Trump's southern border policy became the constant punching bag for our illustrious leaders in robes.
Whether it was increasing ICE presence, building the wall or returning illegals, whatever slowed the flow of anyone into the United States, the bishops were right there, firing off statements, almost as fast as closing churches and now insisting on jabs in exchange for the sacraments.
Their phony rationale was the sanctity of human life — that it's so important to respect the dignity of human beings. Too bad for them that not a single informed Catholic actually believes that malarkey of theirs. It's true, of course, that human life is sacred and needs protecting, but if the bishops were so down with that, it sure seems like they'd stop promoting (either directly or through their silence) the most murderous political party in human history, the Democrats.
At this very moment, Kabul is a case study in disregard for human life, both for American citizens trapped and being beaten by the Taliban (as the Pentagon acknowledged over this past weekend) and for thousands of Afghan allies whose lives are now threatened and very likely over, as the Taliban go hunting for them door to door.
The scenes in and around the airport of human chaos, combined with bungling Biden's dementia-driven approach, should be eliciting something from the U.S. bishops based on their past record of assailing Donald Trump, even as his policies actually were working to slow down human suffering.
Likewise, the southern border disaster (another result of Beijing Biden's disastrous policies that have resulted in increasing human misery and death) should be sending the bishops scrambling, firing off press releases at the same pace as they did against Trump. However, you will note one item in particular present in both the case with Afghanistan and our southern border that goes somewhat unnoticed: It's the money the bishops make providing "humanitarian" care for all these people.
Along the border, the nation's bishops have reaped a windfall in government contracts as the leading provider of shelter, food, transportation and eventual resettlement for tens of thousands of illegal immigrants across the United States. This money funnel had shriveled considerably under Trump. The fewer people who get in and need attention, the smaller the contracts.
And near the end of last week, as it became clear that Afghanistan had fallen and there was an immediate crisis of having to relocate tens of thousands of Afghanistan refugees, the U.S. bishops started saying, "Bring them here. We'll take care of them." Again, the bigger the crisis, the more money the U.S. bishops get. Talk about never letting a good crisis go to waste.
The U.S. bishops themselves have had what could be termed their own "Afghanistan moment." It wasn't as sudden and certainly did not make for as dramatic footage as we saw from Kabul with babies being passed over barbed wire, but because of its eternal consequences, it is, in its own way, far worse.
The Catholic empire has fallen just as surely as the American empire has. In fact, the American empire has fallen because the Catholic empire fell first. American priorities on the national and international stage have become completely woke. Tradition has been ejected and replaced with a bizarre understanding of the mission, purpose and even constitution of what makes the nation. American exceptionalism is an unknown commodity among the nation's elites — even as they themselves profit from it.
All that matters to the elites of the culture and government is sex and money. However, the U.S. elites were not the first ones to cross that finish line. The U.S. hierarchy led the way, all the way back to the 1960s, publicly and in private. The U.S. bishops essentially gave permission for the society to become "woke" when they abandoned their role of moral leadership, and they embraced the whole "woke" insanity that set the stage for Afghanistan to be completely overrun in a matter of weeks.
In about three weeks, the United States will remember the Sept. 11 attacks, as we take note that 20 years later, almost to the day, $2 trillion dollars later, with thousands of dead U.S. military, tens of thousands of wounded, tens of thousands of dead Afghanistan citizens, we look back and recognize the folly of policies that were doomed to defeat.
But do not forget that even as the Taliban members were gobbling up vast tracts of land on their three-week march toward Kabul, back in June, the U.S. embassy there, along with U.S. embassies all over the world, was celebrating sodomy, so-called Pride Month, as part of Joe Biden's international policy. American exceptionalism was replaced with American perversion, and that has extremely close ties to what is happening in the Church.
When the United States flew those pride flags from its embassies all over the world, there was not a peep from the bishops. Of course, that might have been a little difficult when so many bishops are homosexual themselves or support it or remain silent on it and let so many of their clergy drape pride flags over the altar of sacrifice and even around statues of the Blessed Mother.
But hey, why push doctrine when there's a buck to be made, right? What we are witnessing, around the world and at home, is a direct result of the U.S. hierarchy's actions. It was they and their silence and, in some cases, promotion, that allowed so many of these phony-Catholic, child-killing, sodomy-promoting politicians to get into power and then maintain it.
Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden are just the prime examples, but there are hundreds of these vermin who owe their careers to the U.S. bishops: Kennedy, Kerry, Durbin, McCain and so forth. The exchange of the Faith was done for money and influence. As long as the bishops can keep stoking the fires of wokeness — such as with racism and what have you — then they can keep the very people in power who grease the skids for those lucrative government contracts.
Even now, dioceses all over the country continue to pound the drum about racism, calling it systemic and so forth, parroting the talking points of their "money men" in the Democratic Party.
What happened and is happening in Kabul could not have turned out any other way with the fake Catholic with no conscience that we have in the White House. But do not forget who helped put him there: Biden is the product of a Catholic hierarchy that faced and failed its own Kabul moment, its own Saigon moment, long ago. And now, just as there is an emergency airlift plan to save as many as possible in Kabul, the same thing is occurring within the Catholic Church: an emergency airlift plan, if you will, to rescue as many as possible from the errors of this corrupt and degenerate hierarchy and instill in them actual Catholic teaching, before they are also overrun.
Time is short, very short, for both operations, while the bishops sit around counting and trying to increase their dollars, ignoring the body count.
Vermin are running rampantly in our gov and Church.
My question: if the bishops require Catholics to be vaccinated in order to access the Sacraments, will they likewise require the immigrants they assist to be vaccinated before they disperse them across the country?
If the Bishops require the vaccination, then they are telling us to go against our conscience and be in sin. Murdering babies can never, ever be for the common good. Find another way to develop the vaccines.
The only other campaign in recent history that took over a country as quickly as the Taliban did was the 100 hour war with Desert Storm. That was accomplished by brilliant military genius, sustained logistic support and overwhelming force. The battle front (as fluid as it was) meet General H. Norman Schwarzkopf's with stiff opposition by their crack units, the Iraqi Republican Guard, but were swiftly overwhelmed.
On the contrary, the Taliban swept through Afghanistan because the Afghan National Army laid down their weapons and surrendered without a struggle. Leaving me to assume that they never wanted the Taliban to leave in the first place but the Americans had big deep pockets and the local chieftains tolerated us as long as the money flowed. All along playing the same game they did with every conqueror before us, 'Wait, they will get tired of the gorilla war and leave".
We should have left after we cleared out all the Al Qaeda training camp and Osama fled to Pakistan.
The bishops got their man. Now we all suffer.
If we don't expose the fraud of this election so that people understand how it was done and take action to overturn the fictitious results, IT'S OVER!

You are so right. If they do not completely show, with evidence that Biden actually this election, I will not vote again. Why should I stand in the cold, rain/snow for three hours for my vote to be worthless. This would be the first time in my voting life that I would not vote.

This whole movement to capture the final piece of getting the One World Government established (e.g.: take over of America) has finally made itself visible. Prior to the 2020 election - the Annointed One (Obama the Marxist) made huge steps (judicially and socially) for his team during his terms and in 2016 the election of Trump to President ended up being a disaster for the Soros and all other One World Govt minions. Couldn't let that happen again in 2020.
Yes, they were positive they had it in the bag for Hillary and Obama's third term. Now we see what his third terms has produced. He is the one running the United States of America, along with Susan Rice and there are just too many ignorant people voting for all of this evil. Everything and I mean everything is completely and totally out of control. What is good is bad and what is bad is good, only God can help us now!
Totally agree with you! Barry (Obama) has never been able to get enough lauds for his actions - and by the way, what exactly has Susan Rice done as director of "Domestic" Policy? There is nothing "domestic" about her job as Obama's right hand. Apparently the Benghazi debacle on her resume hasn't hurt her career. - in the light or in the shadows.

Most recently, like patriots of old, Colorado Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters lost her job and is now at risk for exposing their evil.
To my knowledge, not one bishop has uttered a word of encouragement to Tina nor denounced Satan's Dominion Voting Systems which is rapidly at work trying to erase all traces of this momentous crime.

They are now hunting our citizens and allies with expensive surveillance equipment just left behind for the Taliban to use against us. You almost want to believe what is happening there is deliberate, because it is hard to imagine such stupidity and carelessness from leaders of a world power. They snuck out under cover of darkness, leaving armament, expensive technological equipment, and friends and allies behind. I never thought I would live to see such things. Meanwhile, while sneaking carelessly out of Afghanistan and leaving a mess, Biden mentioned that he would charge anyone they did fly out. All this while spending tax payer money to fly illegals from the southern border to various towns and cities where they are given safe haven (also on the tax payer dime) and also under cover of darkness. Corrupt and evil are words that come to mind, because how can anyone be just that STUPID? Of course most of our spiritual leaders will also remain silent.

Joe Biden is now like the Steward of Gondor, cowardly and corrupt, commanding everyone to flee for their lives (in Afghanistan). Only, there's no American Gandalf to knock him unconscious, resume common sense, and defend the White City.
The Federal government is likely the biggest source or revenue for the Catholic Relief Organization and Catholic Charities.
A Pew survey taken in 2013 shows that Afghans (of all Muslim nations) had the largest percentage supporting Sharia Law (99%), 15% higher than Pakistan.
Anyone who believes Afghans will assimilate (even within 2-3 generations) is a fool.
The Fed is the biggest source for the ENTIRE Catholic Church not just those 2 organizations. The hierarchy gets plenty in their pockets. I absolutely don't believe that they will assimilate. Most of the Muslims that infiltrated Europe were from Afghanistan. Look at what has happened to Europe.

This is why they're pushing the jab, too, & why they closed the parishes down without any fight! The more money they can get from the gov't, the more complicit they are with them! Whatever happened to a vow of poverty? I think all priests should have to take one. The Church can provide retirement housing. The ambition is wrong.
I truly believe, this is God's hand punishing the US, it is no different than what happened to Israel and Judah for worshipping false gods. Our false gods are the LGBT and trans nonsense plus the abortion on demand attitude along with gay marriage.
I had that thought yesterday that the world is now like a piece of big cloth on the surface of water and in the middle there is a stone that is pulling it down.

I expect that the El Paso, Texas Bp. Mark Joseph Seitz support of the Demoncrats will soon flower into a full force Islamic Jihad descending on El Paso. It is reported that 1000s of military age Afghanistan men (not women and children) have been granted asylum in the United States by the Biden administration and that many of them are being sent to El Paso, Texas.
I'll miss St. Patrick's Cathedral that I expect will soon be burned to the ground like many French churches suffering from the Islamic "cultural enrichment" forced on them.
Where is Charles Martel when you really need him? How can the French forget entirely that part of their history? Christianity was saved by this man ages ago, and was it all for nothing, for them to just walk away bored? How sad our current world is. I cling to Our Lord and His words.

Dear Clergy, Everyone is leaving the Church because of your failure to teach the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Faith, and this will continue until you repent and preach the Gospel in its entirety. Sincerely, a Catholic who is a sinner but who is trying to live the Faith through the practice of the Sacraments and, especially, devotion to the blessed Mother of God. God, please help us all.

I read this book last month. It offers a final appeal: "I would like to ask ... bishops to join me in asking God to deliver us from fear of men and fill us with the grace of the Holy Spirit."
