RESIST IT ALL

Do something.

TRANSCRIPT

A couple of hundred years ago, an American Protestant clergyman said, "I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still, I can do something; and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."

That's an apt thought as faithful Catholics lament the state of the Church. Things are so bad and so overwhelming that a kind of paralysis sets in, which can easily lead to a quiet despair that "nothing can be done." But that's not true, not even close. There is much that can be done, but all of this mess and our actions in response to the mess must be viewed realistically.

First, the crisis in the culture, which is little else than communism rising, is a direct result of the unfaithfulness of the Catholic Church, particularly Her leadership — but with plenty of blame to pass around to us laity as well.

So when you look around the world and see it collapsing, know that the Church collapsed first.GabTweet

The corruption within the hierarchy became the launching pad for the greater societal evils because the Church was established by Our Blessed Lord to be the sole path to Heaven and, being so constituted, is the only force on earth that can actually push back against and defeat evil. So when you look around the world and see it collapsing, know that the Church collapsed first. Her guardians exchanged the good of Heaven for the pleasures of earth.

Second, the crisis in the Church far precedes the fallout from Vatican II. The Second Vatican Council has become a kind of scapegoat in the minds of many Catholics who unthinkingly look at all the confusion following Vatican II and attribute it to Vatican II.

That is a very simplistic and wrong notion. The fallout from the council was able to be generated in the first place because, behind the scenes, the seeds had already been planted for decades by modernists who cleverly hid within the cracks and crevices of the Church like termites gnawing away. All that happened after Vatican II is that they came out into the light.

Third, if you go into this battle to help restore the Faith without realizing what you are up against, you will become despondent. Simply accept the fact that the corruption and cowardice across the board within the hierarchy has transformed it into an international gay-crime syndicate. As Church Militant has been told repeatedly by officials and victims who come into close contact with this syndicate, it's worse than a mafia. That is your starting point. You cannot go into battle unaware of your enemy.

And within the hierarchy itself, do not talk about "good" bishops. A cowardly bishop who still privately believes the Faith but remains largely silent about the evil within the episcopate does not qualify as a "good" bishop. He qualifies as a "not active promoter" of the evil. Good bishops die for the flock and announce the truth because anything short of the fullness of the truth damns souls, including their own.

So in approaching bishops in your mind, you must first think in terms of wicked, evil men, such as McCarrick, raised to the episcopate through his influence and trained to lie, cheat, deceive, in some cases, rape and, in all cases, cover it up. Then, when finally caught, they deflect and cut secret financial deals with your money.

The other bishops are the cowards, those who, through their own lack of courage, will be the first damned, as St. Paul and St. John tell us. They are the ones who have permitted the wicked bishops to ascend to these great heights by going along with whatever asinine "brother bishop code" or secret handshake they have.

Many of these men, nearly all of them products of deficient seminary training back in the 1960s and 1970s, are malformed in theology. It doesn't matter if they are polite or soft-spoken or great to have over to your cocktail party, men like this will abandon the faithful at the first sign of trouble — just look at their ongoing, terrified response to the COVID craziness.

To whatever degree they may personally believe the Faith, they don't believe enough, and that's the point. To follow Our Blessed Lord, even as a lowly, insignificant layman, means total abandonment of self. Of course, that plays out over time, but the point is that we must be at least heading that way. Point to any bishop in the United States who is doing just that (and by "just that," we don't mean giving an occasional sound bite or making a social media posting, but one who is standing up out loud and denouncing the evil within the ranks of his own brother bishops).

Wicked men enabled by cowards run the Church; accept that reality and come to terms with it. And, please, no comments about Pope Francis down below. The pope did not fall out of the sky. It was this same ecclesiastical swamp that he emerged from as well. For years, Church Militant has been saying that the constant pounding on Pope Francis is just low-hanging fruit by a bevy of social media-type Catholics to generate clicks.

But when it comes to the real nitty-gritty of attacking the beast itself, the episcopate from which Jorge Bergoglio emerged, these "YouTube Catholics" are nowhere to be found. They don't organize on-the-ground efforts to help facilitate awareness. They don't put in the time and excruciating effort to investigate individual cases of episcopal corruption. That work is too hard and doesn't gin up anywhere near the number of likes and clicks and payments and emails as other content does. It's much easier to just strike for the high-visibility, low-hanging fruit of Pope Francis.

All of that is part of why Church Militant began its grassroots movement that we call Resistance. It was very clear to us that all this constant bellyaching about Pope Francis was accomplishing absolutely nothing, at least for the Faith. All it does is accomplish free publicity for the clickbaiters. But we aren't interested in clicks. We are interested in souls being preserved from this evil swamp in the diocesan and parish levels where the real work of the evil is happening with gay priests, malformed RCIA directors, chanceries full of woke idiots pretending to be Catholic and so forth.

Even as we speak, bishops all over the United States are denying people their freedom of conscience regarding the so-called COVID vaccination, sometimes forcing Church workers to submit or get fired. So much for compassion, tolerance and dialogue, right?

And that's just one obvious example. The vax hysteria was preceded by a near-total abandonment of the Faith — in liturgy, morals, finances, doctrine — you name it, so that is where whatever effort that can be expended needs to be expended.

Here's a short list of successes that Church Militant Resistance has recently had:

  • A predator priest for the Lafayette diocese was denied parole, thanks to the letter-writing campaign held by the Lafayette Resistance
  • A vaccine drive in the diocese of Orange, California was canceled thanks to pressure applied by the Orange County Resistance
  • Austin, Texas Resistance got James Martin canceled from a local Catholic event
  • Thousands of people in San Antonio pledged not to give their money to their archdiocese, thanks to efforts by San Antonio Resistance
  • Hundreds of affidavits were signed calling for a forensic audit of the Michigan election, thanks to support from Detroit Resistance, with sponsorship from the successful "Stand Up Michigan"

It's true that no one person can do everything. But you must do whatever you can. Spiritual battles very frequently play out in the material world.

It's true that no one person can do everything. But you must do whatever you can.GabTweet

This is why the Church Herself encourages both the spiritual works of mercy as well as the temporal works of mercy. If you are able to do more than pray, then you are obligated to do so. Late next month, Church Militant Resistance is sponsoring a "Boot Camp" in Southern California and is inviting you to attend it. Please click here for details, and please consider attending.

The main point is to go into all of this much more in-depth with knowledge and training on what and how to do what needs to be done in your parish or diocese. This kind of grassroots organizing is something the forces of darkness in the culture have been absolute masters at over the decades in ginning up discontent. They have taken serious advantage of the natural disposition of good Catholics and conservatives to do nothing.

Like the cowardly bishops, the laissez-faire Catholic has quietly sat by and enabled the wicked in the culture to overrun it. It's time to resist. Resist it all and push back hard.

Please join us in SoCal for the Church Militant Resistance Boot Camp.

It seems to me the Church is now almost completely apostate. This makes the Arian heresy look like a weekend picnic with Mary Poppins. What's more, withholding laity contributions does not have the desired effect, because the hierarchy is working with the leftists in government, and what they don't get from the duped and uninformed in the pews they get from them through (if you'll pardon the expression) through the back door in the form of their tax money.
What's more, the structure of the Catholic Church is as such that the bishops have an almost absolute power, with an impenetrable labyrinthine bureaucracy that is the envy of totalitarian government leaders. It looks like we're entering the prophesied crucifixion of the Church.
Vat. II must be rejected, along with the beatifications of John XXIII, et al. Those beatifications were HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE and meant to beatify Vat. II by proxy.
My son, not a faithful Catholic, told me what he saw was the Vatican II was not the beginning of all this leftism and heresy. It was the spiking of the football. The rest is just exegesis.
The hierarchy is now in solidarity. NOT ONE bishop has the courage needed to oppose these horrors and outrages. Even those FEW who believe the Faith are hiding in the foxholes of their diocese.
Demons are in control and apostates are running wild in ecstatic fury INSIDE the impenetrable hierarchy. Their primary task now: to drive all faithful Catholics OUT of the visible Church.
Tell me where I'm going wrong!---but you won't. You'll just probably join Mark Zuckerberg, and dox my message as "inappropriate."

What do you like about him, Larry? That he deems climate change more important than the salvation of souls? That he will bring about schism in the Church and brags about it? That he is crushing traditional Catholics day by day? Which of these do you like?

Pope Francis provides a long leash for those in need of a fraudulent consolation for "whatever." The spectrum of vices is vast indeed. Papalolotry is not the least of the lifeboats for those unwilling to adhere to the perennial Magisterium. In defining the nature of papal infallibility the First Vatican Council waxed profusely in Pastor Aeternus on the authority and power of the papacy and the submission it was due, but it provided a critical linchpin toward the end: The Holy Spirit was not given to the Roman Pontiffs so that they might disclose new doctrine, but so that they might guard and set forth the Deposit of Faith handed down from the Apostles.
When the living Magisterium fails to thus perform does it exist?

Great article. But, it would be even better if CM would start to provide articles and references about how these resistance groups went about getting events cancelled; got thousands to stop contributing to arch-diocese, etc. I realize that there is a resistance arm of CM, but even they are light on 'How-to', 'Methodologies'. I feel like CM is constantly scolding but not big on offering up constructive, effective, appropriate, and practical executable steps that achieve real outcome. For starters, provide email addresses and phone numbers of prelates to direct complaint emails to. Provide form letters and talking points that help people communicate the right messages, to appropriate parties, rather than emotional rants. Even then, my experience, is getting auto-generated responses that give the impression of going into 'file 13'. But my main point, is to enable your subscribers rather than constantly pointing their failures as militants.

If an article appears in CM today regarding a Bishop or Priest who is embarrassing themselves and the Church by their actions, and you feel the need to rattle off a letter to them or their superiors.....Look it up! Great thing about the internet, all of this information is just clicks away. Your comment was well written and I have no reason to believe that you cannot write a form letter that you can use over and over again. I am not trying to be disparaging, but sometimes we have to do for ourselves and not wait for others.

Someone sent this to me just yesterday:

                                      CATHOLICS ARE BORN FOR COMBAT!

I am a soldier of Christ the King
under the command of Archangel Michael
protected by the Queen of Heaven.

                                      The Rosary is my sword

I have watched Homilies and Videos by Bishop Strickland and listened to him on Virgin Most Powerful Radio. I TRUST him. I consider him "ONE" of us. If all Bishops were like Bishop Strickland we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.

Name One, Just ONE: Bishop Joseph Strickland!

He has the Bishop hour on Tuesdays at Virgin Most Powerful Radio. Also, he is active in social media and has opposed his brother bishops at the USCCB meetings. He also says the Latin Mass and declared that is the case of Pope Francis "Motu Propio" his diocese would continue offering the Latin Mass. He was even the only bishop who went to talk to the people at the "Silent No More" Rely in 2018. I was there.

One big flaw of the Resistance: the geographical breakdown by diocese. I am in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, but 3:30 hrs away from LA. This means I can't participant on any regular activity. LA has to be broken down so that people can form groups closer. I have mentioned this to the current leadership of that chapter, with no response. We should be able to gather groups of people at most 1 hr away from each other.

Disagree. Strickland did not defend Fr. Altman. Instead he said Fr. Altman needed to reflect on his duty of obedience.
Obedience to what!? Homoglobo New Church bishops?!?!?
                                                          That is not courage.

While we will never find perfection this side of Heaven, I have always been impressed with Bishop Strickland. There has been a comment or two here or there that puzzled me, but he seemed to be the epitome of a what a Catholic Bishop should be. I think sometimes we are so quick to find something not to like, we overlook the multitude of things that someone does well.

                                                                  • Avatar

Never done by any of the popes and now we are facing communism here at home, world wide and it has it has tentacles throughout the Church. Is there any chance of the Consecration being done now....not now as we have a communist pope sitting in the Chair of Peter.

                                                                        • Avatar

I know this is not a popular thing with Fr. Kalchik who published an article here a few weeks ago. He tried to say that ship has passed. But what Fr. Kalchick failed to include in his thinking is that God and our prayers exist outside the realm of time. Otherwise, prayers for the dead would be a waste of time.

I was livid and wrote my priests and bishop. I had a meeting with one of them. I didn't hold back . With much zeal I told him the church is falling apart. No sermons on hell, sin... ol school preaching. I never heard from the bishop... 3 times. What are these priests and bishops afraid of? I just don't get it.

If the head is corrupt and immoral, it will embolden the underlings to continue in their immoral lifestyle.
If good priests and orthodox bishops had the support of a strong, orthodox Pope, you might see some positive changes in the Church.
Yes, bishops and priests and religious and laity have to stand up and get a backbone, I agree. But the Vicar of Christ (Francis eschews the title, so I fear he is not a true Pope) needs to lead the way. We can only pray for the man and buckle up for more disasters coming from the Vatican.

                                                                                        • Avatar

I wonder if the Bishops have opened their eyes to the stupidity and the evil of the Democrat Party and what they have done for allowing Biden to continue to receive the Holy Eucharist. Biden lies all of the time and now he wants to tell us that Trump is responsible for what he had done. Cowardly, just like the Bishops, Priests and Cardinals. The evil and the stupidity surrounds us everywhere. If only we just had the Bishops to do the right thing!

Our bishops overextend themselves to refugees, migrants and the margins, forgetting the rot here at home. [Those unfortunates have their own bishops btw]. If they were doing the right thing we would have young faithfuls in the pews and men in the seminaries.
We too, should not extend ourselves until we've shored up our own families. Then we can go boldly to resist.

After all, the Taliban and the CCP are working together. Uncle Joe works with the CCP and with the Taliban to provide Americans "secure passage" out of Afghanistan...Bergoglio works with Jeffrey Sachs and the CCP. What could be next?

We know that it takes a village to raise a child; thus, unless one lives in a sealed bubble unaffected by the prevailing culture, it is hard not to have one's mindset and choices affected by it. I myself would have remained blissfully unaware of the current state of the Church at a much deeper level had I not stumble by accident on CM several years ago.

Very true except I respectfully submit it does NOT take a village to raise a child and never did. That little piece of propaganda was first 'popularized' (at least in my memory) by a certain village witch-queen who spent very little time and effort on her own child. The result is a mixed up young mom who walks around w/an upside down cross hanging from her neck(and I don't mean in honor of St. Pete) , both literally and figuratively weighing her and her own family down.

What it takes to raise a healthy, holy-in-training kid is a Catholic family. The people in it don't have to be perfect either outwardly or inwardly but they do have to be trying. THis means at a minimum dragging one's self and one's family to Mass even if .... well you know what it is like to try and be going to Mass nowadays - my blood is boiling thru most of it BUT we go for Our Lord. Period. Right?

Thank God, He sends us only angels (like this witch-queen I'm referring to). What that means is there's various kinds of 'angels' as we know, and if He didn't allow us to experience the, ahem, 'educational' kind, we would remain dangerously naieve, methinks. Correct me if I'm worng but this is kind of what you were referring to w/ your comment regarding CM taking you out of blissful unawareness (me too and a LOT of others here).

But the (more) Good News is WE are family now. And I, w/you am so happy so many more are clamoring to be adopted into it. CM's exposure on other platforms is beginning to explode.

I have to think that part of that is the 'reward' for those of us who have faced years of 'blowback' from our own families and 'friends' when we send them articles and such from CM.

Everybody gets mad or sad at first when they even look at the cognitive dissonance stuff which demands a change within themselves (totally true of me that's for sure). BUT, God promised our good intentions put into action would have an effect just as His upon His Holy Cross did. And we know for sure He never lied about anything. Sooooo all that time we were trying to raise good kids, ighting the incursions of 'the village' of idiots trying to come in or burn our own houses down, you know what? We WERE raising good kids, inspite of the village! Otherwise, there would be no cognitive dissonance within them and there clearly is --- but very few will 'get back to us' on that point, right? i.e. How many times have any of US, in the moment, acknowledged our folks were right when they flat out said we were going wrong? But it's happening, none the less. But God's work always takes awhile to show which is a mercy so that none of us get too big-headded thinking WE did it ;-).

So let us all forget about the cold or gossipy 'village' the 'experts' told us would make up for or even excuse bad or absent parenting. Of course 'they' wanted us away from our homes and kids - "When the cat is away, the mice turn in to rats." :-). We've got something good going here and it is the FAMILY that Our mighty Lord and sweet Lady are rebuilding, once again, in each of us, FOR each other.

God bless you, Albion, our brother. Always good to see you post as there is always wise balance it it.
