AOC Wants List Released Of Everyone Who Wanted A Trump Pardon

(JustPatriots.com)- Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat representing New York, stated on Sunday that it is essential for the people of the United States to learn who sought pardons from former President Donald Trump in the aftermath of the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, said during the first televised session of the special House committee investigating the riot that several members of Congress had demanded pardons from President Trump in the immediate aftermath of the attack.
Cheney singled out Representative Scott Perry, a Republican from Pennsylvania, but added that “multiple other Republican congressmen” sought presidential pardons for their roles in the violent effort to block certification of the results of the 2020 election by Congress.

Ocasio-Cortez stated this during an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” program. She said that you need to find out when you don’t know which of your colleagues were part of a potential conspiracy. In her opinion, every member of Congress ought to be able to respond to that question.

The Democrat from New York recently sent a tweet to three Republican representatives from other states, asking them if they had sought legal cover from the 45th president: Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Matt Gaetz of Florida, and Marjorie Taylor Green of Georgia.

Perry has stated that he does not intend to seek a pardon. He is one of five Republican members who have been subpoenaed to give evidence by the House panel but have refused to assist with the investigation.

Ocasio-Cortez stated that we would all see the evidence the committee brings forth in response to that question. She believes the committee would never make such a significant claim that pardons were sought without substantial evidence to submit to the American public.
The fiery leftist also stated that she would not make a public commitment to back Vice President Joe Biden’s reelection bid in 2024 if he stands for that office.

She said that if the president has a vision, then that’s something certainly we’re all willing to entertain and explore when the time comes. She feels the president has been doing a very good job so far and should run again.

AOC makes a very slippery comment because it doesn’t necessarily mean she would vote for Biden in a primary.
