I worked in the oil industry for 34 years. This is carp it last much longer. https://www.wpowerproducts.com/news/how-long-can-you-store-diesel/ I currently work at MTSU we have a boiler that can run on diesel. The diesel has been in the tanks for at least 6 years. I recently started the boiler on diesel and had no problem. Would I want to run this in my truck or car? Probably not, however it has much more stability than they are giving it credit for.

Diesel is always moving, refinery to distributors to sellers to users. The diesel I produced today is probably consumed in two weeks, gone! It's never stagnate for more than two weeks to much demand.
