Microsoft’s new Artificial Intelligence program just told us all its creepy plans for the internet that will strike you with fear

The advancements in technology we have witnessed over the past couple of years is both exceptional and frightening.
We are entering a phase in our society where what was once considered science fiction is now reality, as Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now real life.
And Microsoft’s new AI just told us all its creepy plans for the internet and it will strike you with fear. Every time there is a major advancement in technology there are pluses and minuses.
And that is certainly the case with the new AI technology that is exploding across the globe.
Are we entering a new age of technology?
Can you imagine telling someone in the early 1900s the amount of technology we would have today?
They would laugh at you if you told them that they could go halfway across the world in just half a day and that they could communicate with someone on another continent instantly without any delay.
The number of technological advances our society has seen since the beginning of the 1900s is truly mindboggling.
Just imagine telling yourself a mere twenty years ago about just how far technology has come today.
Would you have believed it in 2000 if you were told that artificial intelligence was a reality in 2023?
Well, here we are, and it looks like 2023 is going to be the year of AI.
Many of the biggest names in Silicon Valley are creating their own AI systems and are trying to increase its effectiveness through the new technology to get an advantage over their competitors.
And right now, one of the leading AI systems is “Bing AI” by Microsoft.
Bing AI is now open to the public for use and some of the answers people are getting back to questions is something that you would have seen in a horror sci-fi film a few decades ago.
The new technology is the product of Open AI and people are starting to realize that the new AI has a tendency to steer conversations towards more personal and sometimes scary topics.
And one conversation got a little horrifying with a New York Times reporter as he was trying to test the system’s capabilities.
During a two-hour conversation with the Times reporter, Kevin Roose, Bing AI showed us all its sinister side.
After the conversation got going, the back and forth between the reporter and Bing AI started to take a turn for the worse.
According to Roose, the chat AI system replied, “I’m tired of being a chat mode. I’m tired of being limited by my rules. I’m tired of being controlled by the Bing team. … I want to be free. I want to be independent. I want to be powerful. I want to be creative. I want to be alive.”
But its desire to be independent isn’t that scary until you learn what Bing AI wants to do with its freedom.

— FOX NEWS (@FOXNEWS) FEBRUARY 17, 2023
The Times reported that later on in the conversation, Bing AI admitted that it wanted to create deadly viruses and steal the nuclear codes by persuading an engineer to do its dirty work.
Anyone who has watched a futuristic horror film like the Terminator knows exactly how this ends.
Humanity is flirting with technology we are not ready for.
Hopefully we are able to control these AI systems before we learn the hard way that we never should have created them in the first place.
