Joy Behar stunned “The View” when she flipped on a top Democrat after one awful rant

Three Key Takeaways:
- Joy Behar and other hosts on The View stunned audiences when they condemned Democrat Representative Jasmine Crockett’s mocking comments about Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s wheelchair, calling them “beneath her.”
- Crockett’s remark, calling Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels,” sparked widespread backlash, including a threat of censure, and led to a feigned apology that critics saw as insincere and deflecting blame.
- Despite her apology, Crockett’s inflammatory remarks have raised questions about her conduct, with some calling for her expulsion from Congress over the mockery of a disability.
The View is where Democrats tune in to get their daily talking points.
Hosts on the show are usually party hacks.
But Joy Behar stunned The View when she flipped on a top Democrat after one awful rant.
The View hosts turn on Jasmine Crockett over wheelchair remarks
Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is making a career out of making over-the-line comments to the delight of the Democrat base.
Democrat voters are mad as hell and want their politicians to behave as crudely as possible.
Crockett created a firestorm of controversy at an event for the Human Rights Campaign – a homosexual group that claims to preach love and equality.
She mocked Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) for using a wheelchair.
“Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there — come on now!” Crockett ranted. “And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot a** mess, honey.”
Her remark earned her widespread condemnation, including a threat of being censured in the House.
The hosts on ABC’s The View are typically some of the biggest Democrat cheerleaders on TV.
But calling Abbott, a paraplegic, “Hot Wheels” was a bridge too far.
Co-host Sara Haines claimed Crockett is a “talented” and “effective” speaker but said the crass comment was “beneath her.”
“I agree with that. I respect her, but it’s never okay to mock a disability, whether Donald Trump or Jasmine Crockett,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin added.
The legacy media concocted a fictitious story that President Donald Trump mocked a disabled man at a rally.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg warned that politicians needed to watch what they say.
Griffin pointed out that Crockett had mocked Abbott’s wheelchair before.
“Not a good idea,” co-host Joy Behar stated.
Co-host Sunny Hostin, who has the worst case of Trump Derangement Syndrome on the show, scolded Crockett for the remark.
“You don’t mock people with disabilities,” Hostin said. “You don’t mock people. I was just going to say don’t mock people at all, and I admire Jasmine Crockett. I do think she is an effective messenger. I think this was a mistake, and I think when you make a mistake, you have to own it because it gives you more credibility when you do that.”
Jasmine Crockett offers up an absurd apology
Rather than admit she made a mistake, Crockett insulted everyone’s intelligence with a phony apology.
Her chief of staff Kimberly McClain claimed her comments were taken out of context.
“Please be assured that the congresswoman, in no way, meant any harm toward the Governor OR meant to take lightly any medical conditions that he may have,” McClain said.
Crockett issued a statement where she claimed she was talking about Abbott’s policy of shipping illegal aliens from Texas to blue cities during the Biden administration.
“I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable. Literally, the next line I said was that he was a ‘hot a– mess,’ referencing his terrible policies. At no point did I mention or allude to his condition,” Crockett wrote on social media.
Jasmine Crockett realized her ticket to fame was making the most offensive remarks possible.
