#1 KINGDOMS AT WAR: IntroductionDR. STEPHEN PHINNEY: This is the most exciting and well written book I have published to date. "Kingdoms at War: A Systematic Theological Review of Liberalism vs. Indwelt Conservative Christianity."
WHY THIS BOOK & ESSAY SERIES?Listen to the audiobook version: I am writing this book because the battle between the misguided Christian Liberalism and authentic Conservative Christianity is not merely ideological—it is spiritual. It is a war over the integrity of Scripture, the nature of Yeshua, the Messiah, and the soul of the Church. Liberal theology, with its emphasis on cultural relevance and moral relativism, has subtly eroded the foundations of biblical truth. It redefines sin, dilutes holiness, and replaces divine revelation with human speculation. In contrast, authentic indwelt Conservative Christianity calls us back to the uncompromising authority of the Word, the centrality of the cross, and the eternal covenant God made with His people. But even within conservative circles, something vital has been lost: the doctrine of the indwelling life of Yeshua. This book is a call to recover that lost doctrine—a truth so central, yet so neglected. The indwelling life of Yeshua is not a metaphor; it is the mystery of godliness, the power of transformation, and the essence of New Covenant living. Without it, Christianity becomes moralism or activism, void of resurrection power. Liberalism denies it. Conservatism often forgets it. But Scripture declares it: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). This book is my prophetic witness to a generation that must choose between compromise and consecration, between cultural Christianity and crucified living.I write not to argue, but to awaken—to call the remnant to return to the indwelling Messiah who alone can prepare us for the days ahead. Why Worldview Matters in Shaping Culture/ChurchWorldview is the lens through which we interpret reality—and when that lens is biblical, it becomes a compass that guides culture and anchors the Church. Scripture declares, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2). This is not a suggestion—it’s a safeguard. A biblical worldview shapes how we define truth, justice, identity, morality, and purpose. Without it, the Church risks drifting into cultural compromise, exchanging eternal convictions for temporary relevance. Culture is always preaching. The question is: will the Church mirror its message or confront it with truth? A worldview rooted in Scripture equips believers to engage society with clarity, courage, and compassion—“speaking the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15), while remaining “set apart” (John 17:16). In the end, worldview determines worship. If we see God rightly, we will live rightly. And if the Church is to be a prophetic voice in a confused generation, it must first reclaim the biblical worldview that reveals the heart, holiness, and hope of the One who reigns. Within these pages, we will confront the historical roots, ideological movements, and demonic doctrines that have infiltrated the present-day Church and war against authentic believers. This is not a casual survey—it is a spiritual excavation. From ancient Babylon to modern progressivism, we will expose how seductive spirits have repackaged themselves in cultural trends, theological distortions, and compromised leadership. We will trace how false ideologies masquerading as enlightenment have crept into pulpits, seminaries, and worship gatherings—redefining truth, diluting holiness, and resisting the indwelling life of Yeshua. These doctrines do not merely distract—they dismantle. They do not simply mislead—they demonize the remnant who still stand for righteousness. Here is the outline of what to expect in this series: Part I: Foundations & Frameworks
Part II: Historical Movements & Moments
Part III: Biblical Contrasts & Doctrinal Tensions
Part IV: Cultural Impact & Global Shifts
Part V: Resolution & Call to Clarity
This book is a call to discernment, courage, and consecration. It is a prophetic lens through which we will examine history not as neutral, but as battleground—where the Church must rise again in truth, purity, and uncompromising allegiance to the One true King.IM Writers Association is a collective group of Christian writers who support the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ while sustaining an eschatological view of the Holy Scriptures of God. |
