Last year NASA launched the Osiris Rex Mission to sample Asteroid Bennu which is on a collision course with Earth. Someone as intelligent as you understands the many independent lines of evidence showing both the shape of earth being a globe and overwhelmingly shows the impossibility of a flat earth. So please let everyone know. Especially since it has little or nothing to do with the Bible or religion, it should be easy. I mean, we have testable/predictive models of reality here, not just "oh I think the earth is round!" The evidence is overwhelming.
This report documents the derivation and definition of a linear aircraft model for a rigid aircraft of constant
mass flying over a fiat, nonrotating earth. The derivation makes no assumptions of reference trajectory or
vehicle symmetry. The linear system equations are derived and evaluated along a general trajectory and

You're literally arguing over something that, because the evidence is so overwhelming, and for so long, no one can deny it. This is a far cry from "believing what we're told" as earths shape is discovered by science, which you are never told what to believe, you have proven to you in a testable way and in a way that predicts the future 100% accurately.
Now all you have to do is make the flat earth useful, since the theory of gravity, motion, knowledge of earths shape, has made a big impact on what we're able to do and predict.
PS Jacob isn't the one to say Earth is or isn't Flat...We see mystery and we all seek truths that make up the 'Truth'...I believe the full picture will always escape us at this stage as we can only understand to a level, but asking questions to bridge that void is our duty.
Whether you are a Flat Earther, Globe believer, Simulation theory believer, Religious or Atheist...we are all in the same boat...the human condition, we see the mystery and know there is more to seek ❤️
