THE NEPHILIM AND POP CULTURE

Beginning and End Nephilim series | What Watchers Enoch Giants of Genesis 6
Pop culture has promoted fallen angels and the Nephilim as heroes and saviors of humanity.

THIS IS PART 5 IN THE BEGINNING AND END NEPHILIM SERIES

Thought not known by many in the Christian community, there is a massive amount of books, TV shows, movies and even video games that have taken the account of the Sons of God, daughters of men and Nephilim in Genesis 6 and adopted it for entertainment purposes. In almost all of these instances, the Biblical message of salvation through the Messianic bloodline, God’s purpose of protecting humanity and the unrestrained evil of fallen angels and their Nephilim offspring are omitted. Instead, the Word of God is twisted depicting the enemies of humanity as heroic, attractive and noble beings. The widespread popularity of this deception is just another example of how far society has moved from an understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith.

NEPHILIM NOVELS – ROMANCE WITH CHILDREN OF THE FALLEN

Giants Watchers Book of Enoch | Succubus Incubus fallen angel novels
There is a popular genre of romance novels based on the account of the Nephilim in Genesis 6.
The past several years has seen an explosion of fiction novels that contain Nephilim as the central characters. The majority of these books focus on romantic relations between either human women and fallen angels, Nephilim or demons. This of course is the authors’ take on the Biblical account of the Nephilim:
“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.” – Genesis 6:1-6.
The sinful fornication between fallen angels and human women led to unprecedented catastrophe for the human race. The giants, hybrid beings, were wicked conquerors who used their supernatural strength and fighting prowess to plunge the world into chaos and violence. At the same time their continued reproduction with the human race was corrupting the human genetic code and jeopardizing the birth of the prophesied Messiah who would one day defeat Satan and redeem humanity (we document this in our article Bloodlines of the Nephilim – A Biblical Study).
But is this portrayed in the Nephilim novels available today? Not at all. Here are some examples:

AFTER THE FALL

Romance novels about the Nephilim | Sons of God Daughters of Men fiction books
In After The Fall An Archangel Is Seduced By A Human man.
In this novel a female fallen archangel has a romantic relationship with a human threatened:
There’s a Spanish proverb that says, “From the thorn and the pain, a flower is born.” Naomi Duran never really understood what that meant until she became an archangel. Finally reunited with the love of her life, Naomi thought she had everlasting love and happiness in Heaven. Even with the rebellious Lash by her side, she learns that life as an archangel isn’t easy. When secrets of the past are finally revealed, tempers flare, brother is pitted against brother, and Naomi and Lash face the greatest threat to their relationship: choosing among love, family, or duty. In the end, can this family of broken angels forgive past mistakes, or will they carry the thorn in their hearts forever, ripping their family apart? (source).

THE FIRE WITHIN (THE NEPHILIM BOOK 2)

“When private detective Elizabeth Rand witnesses a murder in the snow, she’s in for the case of her life. Mysterious creatures are killing people, and soon she’s hired to look into one of the deaths. That means working with one of the city’s sexiest detectives, Dante Zucco.
As a Nephilim—the offspring of a human and an angel—Dante’s been hunting the demons known as Shemyaza for years, and Beth’s case stinks of one. But while he can see the Shem’s miasma, she can’t, and she refuses to believe she’s in over her head. As infuriating as she is, he can’t stay away—if she died, she’d take a piece of his heart with her.
Dante’s too loud, too brash, too everything…but Beth can’t resist him. And that might be a deadly problem. Dante’s got a sense the Shem are out for his blood, literally, and that means anyone he cares about is in danger. If the Shem realize they can kill Beth to hurt him, it’ll take all the inner fire he’s got to keep her safe.” (source).
In this particular book the Nephilim are heroes who fight against demons in order to protect humanity. But note that the demons are called “Shem.” Shem in the Bible was the son of Noah – the faithful patriarch who The Lord chose to restart humanity after The Flood. It was through Shem that the lineage leading to the Messiah would continue. But in this fictional account “the Shem” are evil demons.

IMMORTAL REBORN – ARIANNA’S CHOICE (CHILDREN OF ANGELS BOOK 1)

“When Alexandria Grace Groaban was a child, she learned she was very different from other children and adults she encountered. She saw and heard things that no child should ever bear witness to. She knew details of things and people long since passed, and she could hear voices and repeat them in whatever language she heard during the scenes which played out before her young and impressionable eyes.
Through an encounter with someone she thought to be her guardian angel, Alexandria was given a reprieve so that she might know some normalcy in her childhood. But at the age of twenty-one, Alexandria returned home to her family’s small estate outside Oxford, England for Christmas, and learned the hard way that her grace period was about to come to an abrupt and vicious end.
Now, whether for better or worse, she will find herself on the edge of a great precipice. One that will call her into action and into a world that she could never have fathomed existed. For Alexandria to know who and what she truly is, she will have to rise to the challenge of a battle that has been waged for millennia by beings first spoken of in Genesis, and embrace that which has lay dormant within her since she was a child.” (source).

INSTRUMENTS OF THE ANGELS (HALLOWS & NEPHILIM: WATERS DARK AND DEEP #1)

Romance novels about Nephilim giants | Beginningandend Nephilim Series
“Brie van Rossum is still recovering from her mother’s death when she discovers that she is a Hallow, a descendant of humans and archangels.
But she’s not just any Hallow. She’s one of the last daughters of Michael—like Milena, her mother. And now, she doesn’t know which of her new supernatural acquaintances she can trust.
As she pulls back the veil on the supernatural world, she learns that not only has she inherited Milena’s powers, but her enemies as well—and now that Milena’s protection has worn off, those enemies are headed toward her to wipe out the daughters of Michael for good.
Untrained and unsure of herself, she must navigate her mother’s omissions and half-truths to keep her identity secret, unite her allies, and most importantly, stay alive.
A broken family, a deadly secret, an impossible romance… Instruments of the Angels is the first book in Waters Dark and Deep, a young adult urban fantasy series by Monica Leonelle (recommended for teens 14+).” (source).
In Scripture, Michael is the archangel who protects Israel. It is Michael who during the Great Tribulation will wage war against Satan and his fallen angels, evicting them from Heaven for good:
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,  And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” – Revelation 12:7-10
Instruments of Angels distorts the Biblical account by making Michael one of the rebel angels of Genesis 6 – fathering numerous children with human women (with those accounts described in detail – hence the “teen 14+” rating).
THE TEMPTING: SEDUCING THE NEPHILIM
The Tempting Seducing The Nephilim D.M. Pratt | Novels fiction about Nephilim giants of Genesis 6
“Eve Dowling left Thibodaux Hospital and never looked back. She didn’t want to look back… ever. She and her son Philip moved into the west wing of the Gregiore Estate mansion with husband-to-be, Beau Le Masters and, by all appearances, they were already the perfect, happy family.
Was Eve’s life a dream? Some days were harder than others when she could not shake the shadowy fear that seeped into her sleep and turned her dreams into nightmares. Nightmares of being ravaged by an exotic creature that she comes to believe is a Nephilim. The horrors were different from night to night and yet they were the same: broken images, flashes of events, people, places, pieces of a broken puzzle that didn’t fit together.
An emotional story of love threatened by creatures first described in ancient texts as the Nephilim or “fallen Sons of God.” Could Beau Le Masters himself actually be a Nephilim? Will Eve have the strength to vanquish the evil that surrounds her and her son, Philip? Will true love be able to conquer pure evil? Can she resist the Nephilim? All is revealed in The Tempting! (source).
In all these books, the Nephilim are romanticized and portrayed as noble, heroic and irresistibly attractive. Despite references to the Book of Genesis, there is none of the truth from Scripture about this sinful era in Old Testament history.
The Bible says: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” (Isaiah 5:20-21). What spirit inspired these authors to add to Scripture in order to promote rebels and denigrate God?

BIBLICAL TRUTH ABOUT FALLEN ANGELS WHO SINNED WITH HUMAN WOMEN

Bible verses on Nephilim giants | Did fallen angels have children with human women?
The Bible teaches the truth – the fallen angels of Genesis 6 almost destroyed the human race.
The Book of Jude records the fate of the fallen angels who married human women and bore children with them:
“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” – Jude 1:6-7.
Rather than being romantic, heroic, righteous beings – the fallen Sons of God of Genesis 6 were evil and punished immediately by being cast into the abyss where they remain locked away until the end times Great Tribulation.
“For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;” – 2 Peter 2:4-6.
Again Scripture confirms that the sinning angel were “cast down to hell” as a judgment for their sinful relations with human women. And that the world itself was “spared not” because of the corruption brought on by the fallen angels and Nephilim giants of Genesis 6. By twisting the Biblical account, the Nephilim fiction books have moved the minds of those unfamiliar with the Bible even farther from Scripture. And in some cases of Nephilim entertainment, it can even promote sympathy for the Antichrist.

THE NEPHILIM AS OUR SAVIORS?

Did fallen angels marry human women | What does the Bible say about giants?
The Fallen novel series spearheaded the Nephilim fiction genre.

THE FALLEN SERIES

In 2006, ABC Family Channel (now known as Freeform) released Fallen, a mini-series about a teenage boy who learns he is a Nephilim and savior of the world. The book draws liberally from the Book of Enoch (an inter-testamental book that is not a part of the Biblical canon and was not written by the Enoch of the Bible). Many of the angelic characters in Fallen are named after characters from the Book of Enoch. The series was based on a book of a similar title (and the novel which really helped propel “Nephilim fiction” into popularity). Here is a clip that summarizes the film:
And here is the synopsis:
“On Aaron Corbett’s 18th birthday, he begins exhibiting strange abilities, such as the ability to talk to his dog, Gabe, and other animals, leading to the conclusion that he is a Nephilim, the offspring of a human and an angel. Now Aaron must defend himself and his family from the Powers, warrior angels dispatched to Earth to eliminate the Nephilim “abominations”, while trying to find a way to live a normal life. He is befriended by Ezekiel, an eccentric but kind-hearted fallen angel, and the former leader of the Powers, archangel Camael.
It is revealed Aaron is the Redeemer of prophecy, a Nephilim with the ability to “redeem” the fallen angels and return them to Heaven. After a battle with the Powers, resulting in the apparent death of Ezekiel, Aaron leaves his adopted family and joins Camael in order to fulfill his destiny.”
Rather than being an enemy of humanity – Aaron, the lead character, is “the Redeemer” – the Messiah who saves fallen angels, sending them back to Heaven, presumably forgiven of their sins.
The Book of 2 Timothy says of Jesus Christ:
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” – 2 Timothy 2:3-6.
It is Jesus Christ who serves as the “mediator” for humanity. Salvation only comes through The Lord. And the Bible is very clear that God Himself is our Redeemer:
“As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.” – Isaiah 47:4.
“Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;” – Isaiah 44:24-25.
Even more stunning is that Aaron’s quest ultimately leads him to “The Light Bringer” – the villain who of course is ultimately revealed to be Satan. What Lucifer wants is for Aaron to “redeem him” allowing his return to Heaven. In their final confrontation Aaron finds out that he is in fact the son of the Devil. Aaron is essentially the Antichrist – and yet is cast as the hero of this film series. And to no surprise, Jesus Christ is never mentioned. The Bible says of this kind of deception:
“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” – 2 Corinthians 11:3-4.
As Beginning And End has detailed for years, Satan has used entertainment to subtly poison the minds of unbelievers and blind them from the light of the Gospel. The Fallen series (which was targeted at children and youth) takes that deception to the extreme by making the Antichrist a hero.

THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES – NEPHILIM DECEPTION

Mortal Instruments | Illuminati Twisting Bible Scripture | It is not Biblically accurate
The Mortal Instruments turns the Nephilim into cool, occult-practicing heroes.
A similar elevation of Nephilim to to the role of saviors is found in the extremely popular book and film series The Mortal Instruments. In our article on the movie – Beginning And End detailed the film’s focus on a young woman who learns she is a Nephilim and prophesied savior:
“When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to Pandemonium, a club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder – much less an murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air, It’s hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
Equally startled by her ability to see them, the murderers explain themselves as Shadowhunters: a secret tribe of Nephilim warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. This is Clary’s first meeting with the Shadowhunters, Nephilim warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It’s also her first encounter with Jace Wayland, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours, Clary’s mother disappears, Clary is attacked and almost killed by a demon, and is soon pulled into Jace’s world with a vengeance.” (source).
And here is the trailer:

The distortions of the Bible and blasphemy in the film is rampant. It references Genesis, celebrates witchcraft and very subtly promotes the Mark of the Beast. Its back story even states that a fallen angel named Raziel shed his blood to save angels and humanity – with no mention of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. For more information on this movie and its satanic deception see our article here.
The Syfy TV series Dominion also focused on a young man who learns he was a Nephilim prophesied to redeem the fallen angels and save the world:
Note that in the opening shot, the voiceover speaks of God with an image of an eye on the screen (in the occult the All Seeing Eye is a reference to Lucifer). These shows have a consistent theme where God has abandoned humanity, is mad at the world or too distant and unconcerned to get involved. And The Lord Jesus Christ is never mentioned at all – keeping the Gospel “hidden” from unsuspecting viewers.

VIDEO GAMES PROMOTING NEPHILIM GIANTS AS HEROES

Satanic video Games | Freemason Nephilim symbolism
Dante – the Nephilim hero of Devil May Cry 5. The game barely veils its satanic theme.
Devil May Cry 5, a popular installment in the Devil May Cry series, also promotes the idea of Nephilim-as-Savior. We explore that game in detail in our article: DMC: Devil May Cry 5 – Rise of Satanic Video Games.
Even some commercials show that Hollywood has a very keen understanding of this:

BEWARE OF END TIMES DECEPTION

Nephilim final judgment game | beginning and end nephilim article series
The cover art for the Nephilim Final Judgment role playing game.
The Lord Jesus Christ warned that one sign of the impending end times would be unprecedented deception:
“And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” – Matthew 24:3-5.
The world is being groomed to accept a false Messianic figure who will pretend to be the true Christ but is in fact a deceiver. The Apostle Paul referred to this as the “strong delusion”:
“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12.
The Antichrist will win the world over through the power of his “lying signs and wonders.” His miraculous power will help deceive the world into believing he is a god. And already we see how pop culture is planting seeds of this message that perhaps fallen angels, Satan or even the Antichrist himself are not only redeemable but even our saviors. Do not be deceived.

TRUST IN THE TRUE SAVIOR

Books tv shows and movies about Nephilim giants | Do nephilim exist today?
Do not be deceived – there is a war taking place for the fate of your soul.
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” – John 3:17.
Time and time again in the Bible God reminds Israel and all the world that He and He alone is the true Redeemer. It is only God who can provide forgiveness of sins. It was only God who could rightfully atone for the sins of humanity through the death of Christ on the cross. And it is only God who can give eternal life through the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Nephilim popular entertainment of today makes no mention of sin or the work of Christ. This is no coincidence. The Bible says:
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” – 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.
If you are not a Christian do not let the twisted spiritual messages of pop culture blind you from the agenda at play – to deny Jesus Christ and distort the Bible. Instead look to what God’s Word truly says and know you can receive free forgiveness from the true Savior – Jesus Christ. Unlike the Nephilim, the Devil or any fallen angel, Christ proved His love for humanity on the cross 2,000 years ago. Trust in it. And for Christians – continue to share the Gospel and the true account of our Precious Redeemer – you are on the front lines against the deception of the world.

EXCITING NEW ANNOUNCEMENT – JUDGMENT OF THE NEPHILIM

Although we have completed all 7 parts of the Nephilim Series the study is far from over. Beginning And End is very pleased to announce the release of the first comprehensive Biblical study on the giants and the Genesis 6 account –Judgment Of The Nephilim.  This is the first time we have agreed to contribute to an external project. A great deal of our own years of research has gone toward this book and it is filled with startling revelations on the giants that you will not find in any other book on this topic.  Judgment Of The Nephilim surveys every passage in the Holy Bible on the giants – many which are rarely connected to the Nephilim.  Among the many questions it addresses are:
  • The Biblical location of the heavenly portal used by angels to enter the earthly realm.
  • Who was the first mother of a Nephilim?
  • How can an angel have a child with a human woman?
  • The specific timing and description of God’s punishment of the rebel Sons of God and the Nephilim
  • How did the Nephilim return after the flood?
  • The Biblical connection between demons and the Nephilim
  • How did the Nephilim return after the flood and is the Nephilim DNA around today?
All these answers and many, many more from the Bible. Once our ministry started researching the Nephilim in-depth we realized there was a great deal of untapped, rarely quoted Christian and Jewish writings on the giants that answer many, many of the questions we all have on this thought-provoking topic. Now we have the answers. This is a must-own book if you are a reader on the subject of the Nephilim giants. The trailer is below:

Shape of Water Nephilim Son of God Genesis 6 reference | Guillermo Del Toro religion beliefs
The most celebrated movie of the year depicted a serpent god having intimate relations with a human woman.
The Shape of Water was the most heralded, award-winning film of 2017, winning a slew of accolades including 13 Oscar nominations and 4 Oscar awards – among them Best Director and Best Film. The movie – which centers on a romance between a reptilian-human hybrid creature and a woman, has been a runway hit despite its bizarre premise and graphic depiction of interspecies intimacy.  Based on the explanation of the film from writer and director Guillermo Del Toro whose prior films have invoked numerous references to Satan and the occult, the movie makes many subtle Biblical allusions. Most notably, the account of Genesis 6 when fallen angels took human women as wives and gave birth to the Nephilim.

A “Fairytale Romance”

Shape of water Christian movie review | Is Shape of Water okay for children?
“…the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose..” – Genesis 6:2.
Here is the trailer for the film:

VIDEO LINK
And here is the synopsis:
“Elisa is a mute, isolated woman who works as a cleaning lady in a hidden, high-security government laboratory in 1962 Baltimore. Her life changes forever when she discovers the lab’s classified secret — a mysterious, scaled creature from South America that lives in a water tank. As Elisa develops a unique bond with her new friend, she soon learns that its fate and very survival lies in the hands of a hostile government agent and a marine biologist.”
Shape of Water Christian Movie Review | Demonic Reptilian Hybrid by Guillermo Del Toro
Elisa develops a bond with the amphibious serpent hybrid that soon turns into a romantic relationship.
The movie is a long, drawn out love story between Elisa and “the Asset” – a reptilian-human hybrid. As she spends every day around the creature Elisa develops a friendship that quickly turns to romance. In describing the Asset, Del Toro was very clear that the creature was in fact a god:
“He’s not an animal, he’s an elemental river god,” says del Toro. “It’s a movie where a woman falls in love with an elemental god of the water. The creature is not a slimy monster from a B-movie. He’s the shape of water. He’s a representation of a river, of the water as a force. And he’s gorgeous. He’s – we jokingly used to say, we’re going to create the Michelangelo’s David of amphibian men.” (source).
The movie also goes out of its way to emphasize the notion that the Asset is a deity. “The natives in the Amazon worshiped it as a god,” says project leader Colonel Richard Strickland in the film.
In Brazilian mythology there are many gods but Boiuna, is known as the “personification of the Amazonian rivers.” It is a serpent creature that can change its shape and form to frighten unsuspecting travelers and destroy them. In the Bible the Devil is known as: “… the great dragon…that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world” (Revelation 12:9).
Shape of Water Christian film review | Genesis 6 Shape of Water Sons of God daughters of men annunaki
Shape of Water attempts to humanize the amphibious hybrid from the opening scenes.
In the movie the Asset has superhuman abilities. It can understand and communicate in sign language. It restores the hair of a balding character and later its own blood is shown to heal that man of a wound. When the villainous Strickland shoots the Asset multiple times, it falls to the ground only to stand up again – fully healed. At this point Strickland responds “…you are a god”before the reptilian hybrid kills him.
But rather than being a monster, the Asset is a sympathetic figure who deeply loves Elisa. She remarks on how it knows her on a level that surpasses any human being. She no longer feels ashamed of her scars or muteness around him. They have touching, heart-felt moments together as she attempts to introduce the hybrid creature to human culture. And the movie shows graphic depictions of their intimacy. Leaving no doubt that Elisa and the god-like amphibian creature have a sexual relationship.
Shape of Water Christian biblical movie review | Guillermo Del Toro on God Jesus and The Bible
Del Toro’s film normalizes and romanticizes a woman’s intimacy with an amphibian hybrid.
All this bears striking resemblance to the account of Genesis 6 when rebellious angels entered the earthly realm and took human women as wives:
“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,  That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.  And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.  There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.  And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” – Genesis 6:1-5.
As covered in the Beginning And End Nephilim Series, the incursion by the fallen Sons of God led to intimate relations with human women and the birth of the Nephilim – human-angelic hybrid giants who dominated the antediluvian world and brought humanity to the brink of destruction (necessitating the global flood which restarted humanity with Noah and his family).
As shown in our article ‘The Nephilim And Pop Culture’ in recent years there have been numerous books, TV shows and movies which reference the account of Genesis 6 and the Nephilim. But in each instance the message of the Bible is distorted. The illicit relations between humans and angels led to the humanity becoming genetically and spiritually corrupted. The giants were a threat to the redemption of humanity itself as they had the potential to corrupt the gene pool and the birth of the Promised Messiah.
Yet in pop culture, the romance between the gods and humans or hybrid creatures and humans are depicted as beautiful, touching romances where the Nephilim are often heroic and even Messianic figures. All the while, God is portrayed as an angry, irrational despot trying to ruin “true love.”
In The Shape of Water, the Asset in addition to his healing powers, resurrects Elisa from the dead after she is shot by Strickland. He turns the scars on her neck into gills so that she can breathe underwater and they can remain together forever. Thus, he bestows immortality upon her. This is precisely the point made in our article The Nephilim And The Great Secret Of The Occult, where Beginning And End detailed the expectation in the New Age and the occult for the fallen angelic host to return to Earth and endow humanity with all manner of supernatural abilities.

Guillermo Del Toro – A History of Occult Movies

Pan's Labyrinth Christian movie review | Is Pan Satan or the Devil?
In Pan’s Labyrinth, Del Toro explored the love and relationship between a demonic being and a 12-year old girl.
It is important to understand the history of The Shape of Water’s writer and director Guillermo Del Toro. This is not the first movie he has made about a romance between a god-like figure and a human being. His 2006 film Pan’s Labyrinth, centered on a 12-year old girl who falls in love with a goat-human hybrid demonic creature, who turns out to be the pagan god Pan. The labyrinth represents a portal to the underworld, or hell, which Pan informs the girl she will be given access to “meet her real parents.” But to gain access, Pan gives the girl 3 tasks – one which includes offering her own younger brother as a human sacrifice (in the original version of the script Del Toro had the lead character as a pregnant woman who falls in love with Pan and offers her own baby as a sacrifice).
Pan is revered in occult circles as a god of fertility, rampant sexuality and mischief. Albert Pike, an occultist and revered Freemason wrote of Pan:
“Satan is not a black god, but negation of God … this is not a Person, but a Force, created for good, but which may represent evil. It is the instrument of Liberty or Free Will. They represent this Force … under the mythologic and horned form of the God Pan; thence came the he-goat of the Sabbat, brother of the Ancient Serpent, and the Light-bearer. “ – Albert Pike, Morals and Dogma, p. 102.

Del Toro also said the movie was influenced by The Great God Pan, a 19th century British horror novel by Arthur Machen. The Great God Pan’s plot centered on a scientist who wanted to experiment on a subject’s brain to allow them to “see the great god Pan” – essentially using brain surgery to open a person’s “third eye” to see into the spirit realm and view the Devil himself. Soon a woman is selected for the experiment and it turns out that in her interactions with Satan she is sexually assaulted, impregnated and gives birth to a hybrid child who later has supernatural abilities. The young girl leads other children into the forest where they return in a state of undress. She also seen playing in the woods with a “naked man.” And as an adult she terrorizes the many men she marries by allowing them to “see Pan” which causes them to commit suicide. And this was Del Toro’s inspiration for Pan’s Labyrinth.
Del Toro also directed Hellboy Parts 1 and 2, which were about a demon summoned from hell to work for the Nazis.
The Bible warns: “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)
What kind of spirit is guiding movies like Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water? Is it a spirit of God? Do not be deceived.

The Shape of Water Casts Christians As The Villains

Colonel Richard Strickland Christian Bible quotes | Christian film review of The Shape of Water
Guillermo Del Toro no doubt intended professing Christian Colonel Strickland to be the monster of the film.
The cartoonish, sinister Colonel Strickland is an outspoken Christian in the film. He quotes the Bible regularly, criticizing the Asset by saying that people were “made in God’s image” and the reptilian hybrid clearly was not. He is arrogant, obnoxious and hateful – despite his strong faith. And of course, morally he is a total hypocrite. He beats and electrocutes the Asset mercilessly. Despite being married, he openly lusts for Elisa, stating that the fact that she was mute was attractive to him (because a Christian man – being a total sexist and misogynist, would not want a woman that can speak and have her own voice). He makes racist jabs at Zelda, Elisa’s African American co-worker and friend.
He repeatedly references the account of Samson and Delilah from the book of Judges – viewing himself as Samson – the anointed Judge who God bestowed supernatural strength to. In the Biblical account, Samson was betrayed by Delilah, who told the Philistines of his secret – that his hair could never be cut, or he would lose his strength.
In The Shape of Water, Strickland remarks that Samson was a hero because even after suffering the loss of his hair and strength, he called on God who returned his supernatural might one last time to allow Samson to destroy his enemies (even though it required him losing his own life). In The Shape of Water, Elisa betrays Strickland and is cast as the hero for doing it – turning the Biblical account on its head. In the end, Strickland acknowledges that the Asset is a god – showing that he no longer even had his faith in the God of the Bible in his final moments.
Ruth Boaz Elisa And The Asset in The Shape of Water | Hebrew Kaballah occult meaning of The Shape Of Water
The Story of Ruth being shown in Elisa’s building is one of the subtle allusions to the Bible in The Shape Of Water.
A similar distortion takes place when showing Elisa leaving her apartment building. A movie theater on the first floor of her home is showing the film “The Story Of Ruth.” At one point, the Asset and Elisa are actually in the theater during a screening. In the Book of Ruth, when a famine strikes, the Moabite widow Ruth leaves her pagan homeland out of love for Naomi – her Israelite mother-in-law. It was a daunting trek but Ruth pledged to Naomi that: ” thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.”(Ruth 1:16).
Poor and without social status, Ruth ends up meeting and marrying the successful and noble Israelite Boaz. And their family ultimately becomes a part of the lineage of King David and The Lord Jesus Christ. Presumably, The Shape of Water is somehow comparing this wonderful story of faith and love to Elisa’s love affair and fornication with an animal-human hybrid.
In the book of Isaiah, the Bible states:
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!  Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:  Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!” – Isaiah 5:20-23.
Del Toro who describes himself as raised Catholic but now a “raging atheist” creates films  that attempt to make sympathetic, heroic figures out of spirits summoned from hell, demonic goat hybrids who prey on children and amphibious hybrid creatures that seek to have illicit relations with human women. All the while Christians and those who actually question such depictions are the villains.

Be Wary of Hollywood’s Message

God proved His true love for us on the cross.
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2.
Time and time again, Hollywood attempts to preach its own message of what is right, moral and praiseworthy. And it rarely ever involves God, The Lord Jesus Christ or the Bible. Movies and media have such a power over the hearts and minds of society it is hard to even grasp how the constant bombardment of pop culture entertainment influences us. Therefore, it is critical to maintain a right relationship with God. The book of 1 John states that: “…the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
We should not look to Hollywood to learn about the meaning of love (especially considering the horrific litany of sexual harassment and assault scandals) or to know who God is. We should look to God’s Word. The true God – the God of The Bible, proved His love not by sending His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross and take the punishment for our sins. God’s love for us was not conditioned on our loving Him. It was given even though we did not love Him. God says:
“…Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.” (Jeremiah 31:3).
When Jesus Christ was beaten and mocked on the way to His unjust execution on the cross, He prayed to God the Father to forgive those who were hurting Him. This is what God wants: reconciliation and peace with a people who have run rampant into sinful desires and lusts heaping praises on our works and celebrating our version of love – even if it is between an amphibious demon and a human being. Despite this, God still loves us. Pray that Guillermo Del Toro will spend less time trying to attack God and repent and receive the true love that Hollywood could never fabricate.

Iggy Azalea exposed | Satanic twerking rapper
Iggy Azalea’s new video does not honor the true Savior – The Lord Jesus Christ.
Once again demonstrating that the pop culture industry has no qualms about disrespecting the Christian faith, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea took the blasphemy against God to new heights in her video ‘Savior.’ The video, filmed entirely in a church, features satanic, sexualized and blasphemous imagery all the while subtle promoting the false gospel that salvation comes from within a person and not from God.
According to the rapper (who though having a heavy Australian accent raps with a faux American southern dialect for marketing purposes) explained the reasoning behind the video which was written during a “dark period” in her life when her career and engagement were falling apart:
“The song is isn’t about ‘needing a man or a woman to come and save you in a relationship,” but rather about you as “your own savior and finding your own strength within yourself to figure it the f— out.” (source).
Meaning of Iggy Azalea Savior Video | Occult video with cross Roman Catholic Mary Semiramis
The Savior video shows Iggy Azalea laying in bed where the pulpit of the church should be.
Well despite her own statements, the video shows a message that is distinctly anti-Christian.  The video opens with Azalea wearing lingerie and writhing in a bed that is placed at the location of the pulpit of a church. The precise location of where God’s Word is to be preached. Webster’s 1828 dictionary (which was based on the language of the King James Bible) defines blasphemy as:
“An indignity offered to God by words or writing; reproachful, contemptuous or irreverent words uttered impiously against Jehovah.
Blasphemy is an injury offered to God, by denying that which is due and belonging to him, or attributing to him that which is not agreeable to his nature.” (source).
Why would an artist use such a sacred place for millions of people for an erotic display in their video? It is the product of an unsaved heart that has no gear of God in it. The Lord Jesus Christ said:
But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:” – Matthew 15:18-19

The Occult Madonna Symbolism

Meaning of occult symbols in Iggy Azalea Savior Video | Satanic rap stars exposed
Azalea walks with a halo and pyramid directly overhead – symbolism from ancient Babylonian mysteries.
The video is supposed to depict an eerie wedding as Azalea walks down the aisle to meet a figure shrouded in a hood near the altar. The depiction of her with a halo is very reminiscent of the Roman Catholic artwork of Mary seen in thousands of churches all over the world.
Roman Catholic heresy of Mary as Redemptrix | Mystery Babylon Queen of Heaven symbolism
These works, which seek to promote the very heretical notion that Mary herself is a deity to be prayed to, has no Biblical basis whatsoever. For centuries the Catholic Church has promoted the notion that Mary is a “co-redemptrix” – providing salvation alongside The Lord Jesus Christ. There are many scripted, rote rosary prayers that Catholics all over the world memorize to pray to her. Reciting a “hail Mary” is often used to seek God’s forgiveness. None of this is Biblical and it is all in clear violation and disobedience to God’s Word.
Scripture is clear: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (1 Timothy 2:5).  Jesus Christ alone serves as the mediator between humanity and God The Father. It is Christ’s atoning work on the cross that provides forgiveness – not any action by Mary. Mary was indeed a special woman as she was chosen by God to give birth to The Messiah. This was an honor she readily acknowledged and in humble obedience agreed to.  But she is not supernatural, sinless or on par with The Lord.  This of course has not stopped Pope Francis from praying to statues of Mary and even placing a crown on a statue of Mary to proclaim her “Queen of Heaven.” This title stems from Babylonian mystery religions:
“Once people began to worship the mother more than the child, Babylonian priests felt forced to issue an edict deifying the mother also. After the passage of still more time, “her son’s birth was boldly declared to be miraculous, and therefore she was called …the Virgin Mother.” (p.76) “The highest titles were then bestowed upon her. She was called the Queen of Heaven. In Egypt, she was styled Athor, i.e., the Habitation of God to signify that in her dwelt all the ‘fulness of the Godhead'”. (p.77) From this pagan beginning, the story of the Virgin Mother(Queen of Heaven) spread throughout the world.” (source).
In the book of Jeremiah, the Israelites were rebuked by the prophet and punished by God for giving offerings to “the Queen of Heaven”:
Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?  The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.” – Jeremiah 7:17-18

Iggy Azalea walks to her hooded groom with her demonic wedding party watching on.
As she approaches her “groom” the hood is lifted and there is no one there. This was presumably an ode to her broken relationship with professional basketball player Nick Young. The wedding scene is interspersed with a shot of Azalea rapping at the front of the church and notice the shape of the pendant she is wearing:

The pendant is subtly similar to the shape of the Baphomet – the goat headed figure of Satan created by occultist Eliphas Levy.
Meaning of Jupiter Ascending

Of this symbol, Anton LaVey, former head of the Church of Satan wrote:
“The symbol of Baphomet was used by the Knights Templar to represent Satan. Through the ages this symbol has been called by many different names. Among these are: The Goat of Mendes, The Goat of a Thousand Young, The Black Goat, The Judas Goat, and perhaps the most appropriately, The Scapegoat.” (source).

Occult Baptism – The Dying And Rising God

Meaning of Iggy Azalea Savior video | Dying and rising goddess
Rather than honoring God, the baptismal pool is used to depict Azalea being killed.
The next scene features Iggy Azalea being placed into a baptismal pool. Baptism is of course one of two rites mandated by Jesus Christ in the New Testament (the other being The Lord’ Supper). It is a new Christian’s signature on the covenant they enter with God when they believe in The Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins (and a replacement for circumcision – which served the same purpose in the Old Covenant). Jesus commanded His disciples to go all over the world “…baptizing in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 28:19). It is indeed a very special and powerful moment in the life of a born-again Christian.
But how is the baptism of Iggy Azalea portrayed in the Savior video?  Certainly not in a God-honoring manner. Azalea is fully immersed in the baptismal pool as if she is taking a bath. She is wearing a lingerie corset and a hooded figure presses her under the water to drown her:
Iggy Azalea illuminati exposed | Quavo video meaning
This is all an ode to occult rituals centered on the dying and rising god. Whether it be freemasonry or witchcraft, for centuries, ancient mystery religions have had rituals based on the myth of a god who would die and rise from the dead again:
“A dying-and-rising god is born, suffers a death-like experience, and is subsequently reborn. A dying-and-rising, death-rebirth, or resurrection deity is a religious motif in which a god or goddess dies and is resurrected.” (source).
Freemason philosopher Manly P. Hall wrote in his occult encyclopedia, The Secret Teachings of All Ages:
“The Dying God shall rise again!… he time may yet come when the chants of the Illumined shall be heard once more in its ancient passageways and the Master of the Hidden House shall await in the Silent Place for the coming of that man who, casting aside the fallacies of dogma and tenet, seeks simply Truth and will be satisfied with neither substitute nor counterfeit.” (p. 120).

The hooded figure is soon revealed to be Azalea herself – showing her willingness to sacrifice her life and be her own savior. When she emerges from the baptismal she is clearly reborn:

Exiting the baptism, Azalea lies on the church floor surrounded by candles presumably in the shape of angels’ wings. He corset even has feathers to demonstrate her angelic rebirth:

It is at this point that the congregation begins to raise their hands in praise and worship. Though they previously appeared comatose or in a trance, they are now energized and excited to worship the reborn goddess before them.

The video ends with a bizarre looking figure who was playing the pipe organ holding up his hands in a pyramid symbol.

Losing Your Soul – The High Price Of Fame

Again, the devil taketh [Jesus] up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;  And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.  Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” – Matthew 4:8-10.
When the Devil made this offer to Jesus Christ it was no idle boast. Satan is referred to as “the prince of this world” and “the god of this world” in the New Testament. But the “world” he rules over is the temporary age of this world today. Jesus Christ is Lord and will come to reclaim the Earth from Satan forever. But in the meantime, the Devil bestows worldly treasures, power and influence to those who do his bidding. Time and time again, Hollywood entertainers are more than willing to promote fornication, violence, murder, suicide and even outright satanic worship to secure money and fame.
In our first article on Iggy AzaleaBeginning And End detailed how she achieved stardom making some of the most perverse, profanity-laced music of her genre. She also became infamous for twerking and striking graphic, overtly sexual poses in her videos and photo shoots.  When an artist is willing to lead millions of children and adult fans into sinful rebellion they have a chance to align with Satan. Having run into a clear need of a career boost, Azalea now resorted to blaspheming Christianity outright.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” – Matthew 8:36.
But will it be worth it? Despite her fame and wealth, Azalea confessed that she was suicidal in recent years. Just like megastar Katy Perry (who also confessed to depression, suicidal desires and no longer even wanting to be ‘Katy Perry’). From Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Kurt Cobain or the many members of “The 27 Club” who all died tragically at the age of 27, the music industry proves time and again that the cost is too high.
Azalea seems to have found a great deal of emptiness, pain and despair despite being “on top of the world.” Pop culture history is filled with tragic tales of artists who took their lives in their prime of their success because they could not handle the literal and figurative demons that plagued them. The Devil is the enemy of humanity and trying to “make a deal” to achieve worldly fame and success will lead down the dark road many of the biggest entertainers of all time have trod – dying alone, depressed, drug addicted and with no hope. Do not be deceived.
If you are a Christian pray for Iggy Azalea and all those associated with her blasphemous video to repent of their sin against God. And stand up for the faith – share the Gospel and help bring the unsaved into the Church of God. If you are not a Christian – at some point you must ask yourself why so many pop stars continually attack and disrespect Christianity in their music videos? Why is it that despite all their money and worldly glory, these stars are so depressed they want to end their own lives before even reaching the age of 30? It is because without God, there is no peace. Without Jesus Christ there is no true joy. No amount of money can buy the peace that comes from knowing your sins are forgiven and you are reconciled to God. Jesus Christ died on the cross, so you can have that peace.
Jesus Christ said: “I will build my church and not even the gates of hell shall prevail against it.” Let’s pray Iggy Azalea and others stop disrespecting Christ’s church and instead go to it for free forgiveness and joy no one can ever take away.

This is the greatest news ever shared! Sunday, April 1, 2018 Dear Carl, Resurrection Sunday is a time to Rejoice!

A Personal Note from Tim Wildmon - AFA President

This is the greatest news ever shared!
Sunday, April 1, 2018
Dear Carl,
Resurrection Sunday is a time to Rejoice! Jesus paid a debt for us that no one else could ever pay so that we could have a meaningful and abundant life now and also be in heaven with Him for eternity. God gave the perfect sacrifice, His only Son, so that anyone could be forgiven and saved from their sin if they repent of their sin and believe in Him.
To be saved, you must believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sin, and receive Him as your personal Savior and Lord. If you believe Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, you will also need to admit you are a sinner – as we all are. Romans 3:23 KJV says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” If you have never confessed your sin and belief in Christ, take time to do it right now. Jesus is the only way to be saved from your sins and receive eternal life.
After Jesus died on the cross, he was buried in a tomb, but on the third day, he rose from the dead. This is the Good News that Christians celebrate: His Resurrection! He is ALIVE! And one day our Savior will return. He, and only He, sets us free from our sins! “Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me’” John 14:6 KJV.
Watch this short video Jesus: The Life-Changer.
The birth of Jesus is wonderful, but the resurrection is even more exciting. Jesus accomplished what he came for. Jesus’ last words before dying on the cross were documented in John 19:30 as, “It is finished.” He knew that all was now completed and that Scripture would be fulfilled. To suggest that more needs to be done to earn your way to heaven is the same as saying Jesus died for nothing. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV.
Nails were not what held Jesus to the cross. Jesus had the power to come down from that cross, but He knew this is what had to be done for sinners to be saved. He died on the cross for you and me because of His love for us. He loved us that much! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16 KJV.
If you know of someone who has not placed their faith and hope in Jesus Christ, please pass this on to them. Share the greatest gift of all with them: a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and eternal life. Also, share this with your brothers and sisters in Christ so they may use this to share with others. God commands that we share the gospel with others. We need to help one another become passionate followers of Jesus Christ.

Have a meaningful Holy Week and blessed Resurrection celebration!
