Trump Makes Good On Tariff Threat… Here’s What Panicking Canadians Don’t Understand

Canadians think Trump is making unreasonable demands... but IS he?

Canadians are staring into the abyss of catastrophic financial collapse and their first instinct is to escalate… here’s why that’s a mistake.

Canucks would complain that Trump’s demands are somehow unclear, that he’s being an arbitrary bully. That’s one interpretation. Another might be that he’s sick of Americans being taken for granted by prissy finger-wagging moralizers who see America as little more than a cash cow to be milked.

Most of the social programs Canadians brag about are made possible by the fact that they can neglect their military. For example their navy went from the world’s 4th largest in WWII to a tiny fleet consisting of 12 frigates, 4 second-hand submarines, and a handful of other noncombatant or patrol vessels. They know they stand in America’s shadow. They let their American neighbors supply a military, and they spend the peace divident dollars on whatever latest social programs are trending. (Like the so-called ‘safe injection sites’) And they brag about ‘free healthcare’ while their politicians run on putting an end to ‘hallway health care‘ and many Canadians can’t get a family doctor.

Canada’s economy has G7 status, mainly because the various provinces trade more with the USA than they do even among themselves. This leads to a trade deficit, and Trump wants to put an end to trade deficits. But that’s only part of the issue.

More to the point, we’ve got a problem with border access (some high-profile terrorists come to America over the Northern Border) and with fentanyl.

If there was any ambiguity… Trump put an end to it in his official social media account.

In a thread on the various tariffs he is proposing, and the rationale behind them, he said this about Canada:

Border crossing and fentanyl. It’s almost like these are issues Trump has been raising with our neighbors (sorry, ‘neighboUrs’) for a very long time.

While government officials from Canada scramble to decide what kind of retaliatory tariffs to slap on American goods (notably and predictably targeting RED states in particular)… we have admissions from within Canada’s own Parliamentary process ‘Question Period’ in which these very issues were laid out as serious concerns by the opposition leader. Of course, Trudeau rules with concentrated power that some monarchs would envy, and when his government was in danger of toppling to a non-confidence motion (like Germany did recently) he called a months-long recess from January 6th until March 24. That means no business can be conducted until after Libs find a replacement leader for Trudeau — most likely a WEF mucky-muck named Mark Carney.

Here are just two videos where Trudeau was being called out for exactly the issues at the heart of these tariffs:

The open border issue:

His failure to even regulate the precursor ingredients of Fentayl, let alone to take criminality seriously:

Huh. That looks a lot like what we saw in Trump’s tweet.

Just how massive IS the impact on the Canadian economy? Is it hyperbolic to claim it is capable of actually shattering the Canadian economy? Not at all.

Ontario, for example, is anticipating their unemployment rate will double.

A decade ago, Canadians might have been able to negotiate from a position of strength and look for a mutually-acceptable path forward. But for a decade, it’s been run into the ground by unserious people with woke and globalist agendas.

No WONDER Canada’s per-capita GDP went from a respectable middle-of-the-pack number relative to the states to dead last behind Mississipi under Justin Blackface Trudeau.

Maybe they’ll revisit the reasonableness of tighter immigration and a fentanyl crackdown once the impacts of the tariff start to take their toll.

Or maybe they’ll have another election and replace him the libs with a party that actually cares about such issues.

Top Dem Leader Calls for Violence Against Trump by Anastasia Boushee February 2, 2025 No comments

Dem Leader Calls To Fight Trump Agenda ‘In The Streets’

Top Dem Leader Calls for Violence Against Trump

Conservatives, including President Donald Trump, are demanding an apology after Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) appeared to call for violence during a press conference about fighting Trump’s “agenda.”

After Democrats seriously lowered the bar for what can be deemed a “call for violence,” conservatives are now using it against them — and for good reason, as Democrats have a sizable wing of their party that has no problem with committing violence to achieve their goals.

During a press conference on January 31, Jeffries called for his fellow Democrats to fight Trump’s agenda “in the streets.”

“Right now, we’re going to keep focused on the need to look out for everyday New Yorkers and everyday Americans who are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda that is trying to cut taxes for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations and then stick New Yorkers and working class Americans across the country with the bill,” the Democrat leader said.

“That’s not acceptable. We are going to fight it legislatively. We’re going to going to fight it in the courts, and we’re going to fight it in the streets,” Jeffries added.

The Trump White House immediately sent out a press release in response to Jeffries’ remarks, which was titled: “Will House Minority Leader Jeffries Apologize to the American People?”

“At a press conference this morning in Brooklyn, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) made a sick call for violence and incited his followers to ‘fight’ President Trump’s agenda ‘in the streets,’” the press release read. “Will Minority Leader Jeffries apologize for this disgusting threat? Or will he double down on the same calls for violence that have plagued the country for years?”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared the White House press release in a post on X, writing: “Hakeem Jeffries just gave the dog whistle to the violent ground troops of the always radical communist left. Remember last time when Democrats did this? We had 4 years of violence and insanity. Apologize Hakeem Jeffries.”

Jeffries also faced significant backlash on social media over his remarks, with many comparing it to the Democrats’ calls for violence during the George Floyd riots in the summer of 2020 and arguing that Jeffries was clearly signaling to the violent radical leftist base that they should take to the streets.

One user directly compared his comments to Rep. Maxine Waters’ (D-CA) unhinged rant calling for the harassment of Trump administration officials during his first term.

“Hakeem Jeffries needs to be censured and expelled from Congress,” another user argued.

Another user pointed out that Jeffries and his fellow Democrats have repeatedly called Trump and his supporters “insurrectionists” for far less, noting that there is “so much projection from the Left.”

Trump Sends Very REAL Threat to Russia by Anastasia Boushee February 1, 2025 No comments

Trump Threatens Russia Unless They Agree To End War

Trump Sends Very REAL Threat to Russia

President Donald Trump has threatened to impose “Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions” on Russia unless they agree to a peace deal to end the war in Ukraine.

Trump issued the threat in a post on Truth Social on his third day in office, where he demanded an end to the “ridiculous War.”

“I’m not looking to hurt Russia,” he wrote. “I love the Russian people, and always had a very good relationship with President Putin – and this despite the Radical Left’s Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. We must never forget that Russia helped us win the Second World War, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process.”

“All of that being said, I’m going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don’t make a ‘deal,’ and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries,” Trump added, likely referring to the other countries that have joined the war on Russia’s side, such as China and North Korea.

He went on to emphasize the fact that the Russia-Ukraine war would likely not have happened under his leadership, then reiterated his demand for a peace deal and a stop to all of the lives being lost on both sides of the conflict.

“Let’s get this war, which never would have started if I were President, over with! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way – and the easy way is always better. It’s time to ‘MAKE A DEAL.’ NO MORE LIVES SHOULD BE LOST!!!” Trump concluded.

This is just the latest in a string of Trump’s promises to use the United States’ economic power to pressure foreign countries to stop taking actions that harm the American people — including threatening tariffs on Canada and Mexico unless they agree to secure their borders with the U.S. to stop illegal immigration and drug trafficking.

Israel Expels Terrorist-Linked Group by Anastasia Boushee February 2, 2025

Israel Expels Terrorist-Linked Group

The Israeli government has expelled the terrorist-linked United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) from its territory beginning on January 30.

UNRWA — which is the relief agency for Palestinians — has made headlines numerous times since the October 7 Hamas terrorist attacks in Israel and the subsequent Israel-Hamas war, but they weren’t in the news for a positive reason. Multiple news stories have shown that the organization has been infiltrated by terrorists, including the news that the bodyguard found dead alongside Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was an employee of UNRWA.

Sinwar was also found with a UNRWA identification card on his body.

Even the far-left New York Times was forced to admit that senior school administrators at UNRWA were members of Hamas’ military wing. UNRWA members were also confirmed to have taken part in the October 7 massacre.

After all of these bombshell reports, it appears that Israel is sick and tired of allowing these terrorists masquerading as aid workers to operate in its territory.

On January 28, Israeli ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon slammed UNRWA as a “failure” because the group allowed terrorists to infiltrate it.

“It is intolerable for any sovereign state to facilitate the operations of an agency that threatens its national security,” he said.

“This decision reflects the reality that UNRWA has miserably failed in its mandate, and it has failed the people who were supposed to benefit from its services,” Danon added.

Israeli Member of the Knesset (MK) Yulia Malinovsky also slammed UNRWA, arguing that it was exactly like Hamas because both groups have brought “suffering” and “destruction” to Gaza.

“I watched the hypocrisy of many countries in the U.N. Security Council this week. Their representatives spoke about how UNRWA is an indispensable part of Gaza’s reconstruction and how it cannot operate without it. Well, no, UNRWA only brings suffering to the people of Gaza, and just like Hamas, it has brought destruction to Gaza,” she said.

Malinovsky, along with several other MKs, authored the legislation banning UNRWA from operating in Israel. The bill, which passed in the Israeli parliament back in October, ordered the terrorist-linked organization to close all of its facilities in Jerusalem and to cease all official communications with Israeli officials beginning on January 30.

The Israeli MK who introduced the bill, Dan Illouz, stated during an interview with the Jerusalem Post on January 30 that UNRWA has obviously become a political arm of Palestine and a self-perpetuating bureaucracy that uses tragedy for political and financial gain.

“No other refugee population had an agency like UNRWA. Every other refugee crisis was resolved through resettlement and integration. But UNRWA did the opposite: it inflated the number of refugees, ensured they remained stateless, and indoctrinated them to believe their only future was through ‘return’ – a euphemism for Israel’s destruction,” he said.

“Their schools didn’t educate – they radicalized. Their employees didn’t provide aid – they collaborated with terrorists. Their facilities didn’t house civilians – they stored Hamas weapons,” Illouz added.

“UNRWA employees actively participated in the October 7 massacre. They murdered civilians. They helped Hamas kidnap women and children. Some of them literally fought alongside terrorists,” he asserted.

Illouz went on to note that the United Nations and foreign governments were fully aware of these facts, but still “kept sending money” to the terrorist-linked organization “to serve their own political interests.”

“If they truly cared about Palestinians, they would have dismantled UNRWA decades ago,” he argued.
