It’s fashionable, on the left, to clutch your pearls about the work Tom Homan and ICE have been up to in sending Illegal Aliens back to their port of origin. They especially love fear-mongering.

NYC Mayoral hopeful Mamdani doubled down on the rhetoric, not only committing to the so-called ‘sanctuary city’ status of New York, but feeding the outrage porn of his party by claiming to protect New Yorkers from being picked up from places like hospitals and churches.

Oh really? Hospitals and churches?

New Yorkers must really enjoy being lied to, because this guy keeps getting caught spinning lies and it hasn’t hurt him in the polls… at least, not yet.

Sorry to break it to ya, but. I don’t know how things work back in Uganda where your trust fund parents come from, but in America, federal law is not established by some wannabe mayor.

And while we’re at it, remember those free grocery stores he promised? It’s been tried right here in America.

It REALLY didn’t work out.

Sun Fresh Market in Kansas City — which opened in 2018 as part of a multi-million-dollar revitalization plan — mysteriously shuttered just weeks after viral footage exposed the struggling store’s bare shelves, foul odor and frustrated customers.

The alarming footage, taken by local outlet KSHB 41, sparked renewed skepticism of Mamdani’s signature plan to bring city-owned markets to the New York City if he’s elected mayor.

“Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we are no longer, at this time, able to serve the residents of this community,” a sign posted outside the store read, KSHB reported.
[…] Despite receiving millions in taxpayer funding since opening and thousands more for security upgrades, the store still struggled to stock the shelves with produce and other essential goods.

The store’s nonprofit owner told the outlet in a statement that its Midtown location can longer serve residents as of Tuesday, without providing an explanation. — NYPost

So predictable are the failures of so many of the left’s grandiose ideas that Americans had tangible proof of the failure of these promises even before he finished his campaign.
