‘There Has to Be a Balance!’: The View Panel Blows Up Over Trump Administration Deregulations and Sweden comments. They got into a heated debate over the Sweden comments and more.

Things got heated between Jedediah Bila, Sunny Hostin, and Whoopi Goldberg on today’s episode of The View.

The panelists were discussing Donald Trump‘s voters when Joy Behar made a quip about how none of them seem to want clean air and water. She was referring to a number of actions taken by current lawmakers to repeal regulations on things like stream waste, among others.

Bila shook her head and said, “That’s not a fair argument. That’s not fair. One talking point people say — Republicans don’t like clean water or air. That’s not true. There’s a lot of people that are fighting to — ”

She was interrupted by explosive chatter.

” — you have tons of people throughout the country who are trying to protect their jobs!” she finished.

Hostin jumped in with, “He just deregulated. He just allowed dumping in our streams!”

Bila countered that “excessive regulation puts people out of work,” and when Hostin responded, Goldberg interrupted to explain that the original regulations were put in place because companies weren’t looking out for their workers in the first place.

After bewildering residents and officials of Sweden by suggesting Saturday that a terror-related incident had occurred over the weekend in the small Nordic nation, President Donald Trump attributed his comment to a Fox News interview with a conservative filmmaker.

"We've got to keep our country safe. You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden," Trump told the crowd at his campaign-like rally in Florida on Saturday, critiquing Europe's refugee policies and complaining that his travel ban had suffered setbacks in court. "Sweden, who would believe this?"
