Our research has uncovered lyrics on Spotify by rapper Lowkey, a patron of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, including lines like these: - “It's about time we globalized the intifada”
- “Every coin is a bullet, if you're Marks and Spencer and when you're sipping Coca-Cola that's another pistol in the holster of the soulless soldiers. You say you know about the Zionist lobby but you put money in their pocket when you're buying their coffee”
- “Nothing is more anti-Semitic than Zionism so please don't bring bad vibes when you speak to me. I know there's plenty of Rabbis that agree with me”
- “Zionism is not compatible with Judaism – the hijacked faith”
- “I know I'm on a list, for being more verbal, curse every Zionist since Theodor Herzl”
- “I studied the Torah and learnt by their own admission Israel's actions are not kosher in their own religion”
- “So whether it's the Mossad or the FBI policing you It's all one struggle till the final breath is leavin' you” (sung by Hasan Salaam)
- “Balfour was not a wise man. Shame on Rothschild. Between them the monster they created has gone wild”
And lyrics in Shadi al-Bourini and Qassem al-Najjar’s “Strike A Blow At Tel Aviv”, also on Spotify, include:- “Strike a blow at Tel Aviv and frighten the Zionists. The more you build it the more we will destroy it.”
- “We don't want no truce or solution. All we want is to strike Tel Aviv.”
- “Oh you settler, with your sidelocks, in your shelter you cower with fear.”
- “Strike, oh Qassam missile, do not let the Zionists sleep. Even if they beg for mercy – be sure not to show Tel Aviv any mercy.”
- “Oh Fajr missile, explode in the Knesset and the army base.”
- “Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar – terrorize Tel Aviv”
We hope you will agree that Spotify shouldn’t be helping to promote these sentiments.
