As a patriot who love America, he has some grim expectations of the sort of legacy a candidate like Mamdani will leave in his wake, and what the people of NYC should do to protect their rights and property from any impending political power grabs.
Voight has got a grim view of what kind of shape the Mayor-Elect’s war against personal property and business owners will take on, how the alleged compassionate policies he puts forward will (yet again) bring on the same kind of increased poverty and misery as every other time they have been tried thus far… beginning with the rent controls which are the exact opposite of what has lately proven successful in Buenos Aries.
He makes an appeal to New Yorkers to know their rights and stand in defense of them, because the ‘leader’ that has been elected cannot be trusted to work in defense of their rights, so much as to subvert them any time he thinks his a political power grab might be justified.
