Since leaving the White House, Barack and Michelle Obama have enriched themselves greatly.
Through Netflix deals, book deals, and speaking engagements, the couple has raked in tens of millions of dollars.
And the former first lady more than tripled her standard speaking fee of $200,000 for an appearance at the Oktoberfest beer festival in Munich, Germany.
The Daily Mail reported that Obama “was set to speak to some 5,000 attendees on how to ‘push past self-doubt while discussing the importance of inclusivity and diversity.’ The Harvard graduate will be paid 700,000 euros for her appearance at the three-day love-in for European entrepreneurs, which is roughly the equivalent of $741,000.”A speech about “inclusivity and diversity” at a “Bits and Pretzels” forum during a beer festival in Germany is a sign of how pervasive the Left’s ideas have become in Western culture.
One source told the Daily Mail, “They really pulled out all the stops to get her…It’s one of the highest fees that they have ever paid.”
Leftists routinely crow about corporate greed and the dastardly “one percent,” but that does not apply to people who spout the “woke” nostrums of the Progressive religion.
The Obamas got millions from Netflix—which puts them squarely in the “one percent—to make the leftist documentary American Factory, which won an Academy Award.
Upon accepting the award, the co-director literally quoted Karl Marx and said the “workers of the world unite.”

Leftists openly sell radical socialism while making millions of dollars.
This behavior allows them to exempt themselves from the ramifications of their own ideology.
Ironically, so many prominent leftists talk Left but cite heroes who walked Right.
During a recent roundtable discussion, Michelle Obama recounted a story about her father who refused to collect welfare benefits.
She explained, “When I think about what my dad, as a black man with M.S., could’ve done; he could have never worked a day in his life…[H]e could have collected benefits; he could have succumbed to his disease and be depressed about it, but he didn’t. He never felt sorry for himself, he never expected others to do for him, and just the sheer act of him getting up every day and going to work was a statement that – ugh, now I’m going to cry – that stays with me every day of my life.”Unfortunately, Obama and leftists more broadly have abandoned that message.
