UFC fans could not believe what CEO Dana White told Sean Hannity about Bud Light

Most professional sports leagues have helped push the Left’s woke ideology in one way or another in recent years.
But not the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).That’s why UFC fans could not believe what CEO Dana White told Sean Hannity about Bud Light.Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White and Donald Trump have been close personal friends for decades.Trump is a longtime fan of professional fighting and regularly attends UFC PPV events where he sits ringside next to Dana White.
Several UFC superstars are vocal supporters of Donald Trump, including former champion Jorge Masvidal and former champion and current contender, Colby Covington, who refers to himself as “Donald Trump’s favorite fighter.”
Covington is even taking several months off after his upcoming championship fight in December to allow him to travel the country and campaign for Donald Trump. Of course, White’s friendship with Trump does not make him many friends in the left-wing media.
But White is also a strong supporter of free speech and does not require his fighters to follow the Left’s politically correct guidelines.
In a world where most professional sporting events have some form of the Left’s woke message injected into it, the UFC has been the last place of refuge for sports fans who are sick of the woke agenda. But that could soon change after Dana White’s recent decision to enter into a long-term partnership with Anheuser-Busch.
“Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light were UFC’s original beer sponsors more than fifteen years ago,” UFC CEO Dana White said in a statement Tuesday. “I’m proud to announce we are back in business together.” During an interview with Sean Hannity, Dana White discussed the decision to enter into a partnership with Anheuser-Busch given the controversy surrounding Bud Light’s sponsorship of transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.
White said his decision to partner with Anheuser-Busch “was the furthest thing about money.”“These guys employ 65,000 Americans, thousands of vets they employ,” White said. “They spend over $700 million a year with U.S. farmers, you know, buying their crops for their product, and there’s many, many other reasons that I did this.”
The UFC CEO tried to sell the decision as one based on American patriotism.
“Where I sit personally with my core values and I felt like the core values of the UFC, even though we’re a global sport, and we have fighters from all over the world, this is an American company,” White said. “And I love this country and this is more about me being aligned with somebody who is a sponsor of the UFC and somebody I’m going to work with every day.” White admitted that many fans “might not love” the decision given the Mulvaney partnership, but still acknowledged that for him “it wasn’t a tough decision at all.”
“This is more about core values to me than anything else,” White added.
Modelo Especial was the beer sponsor of the UFC.
Modelo Especial also passed Bud Light as America’s best-selling beer after the Mulvaney boycott.
Dana White claims his decision was more about supporting America than anything else.
But UFC fans can only hope to never see Dylan Mulvaney prancing around as a sponsor at one of the fights.
