(RightIsRight.co) – Hunter Biden is in the most difficult time of his life, and now he’s doing whatever it takes to not bring his father’s name down with him, but in case he can’t, he seemingly plans to hurt his father’s political enemies in the process.

During a grilling session by Republicans on Wednesday regarding his overseas business dealings, Hunter Biden, the son of the president, turned the tables on his questioners, bringing up the foreign investments of Jared Kushner, former President Trump’s son-in-law. According to Democrats present at the closed-door deposition, Biden queried GOP lawmakers about Kushner’s business activities shortly after his time at the White House. “He drew the distinction between what he has done in a business world with independent businessmen, versus foreign governments, which he did not do any business with — unlike Jared Kushner,” said Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.).

Kushner, who played a significant role in Middle East policy under the Trump administration, received a $2 billion investment from Saudi Arabia just six months after leaving public service, raising eyebrows and inviting scrutiny.

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) noted that while the questioning remained mostly friendly, Biden became “assertive” when discussing Kushner’s dealings.

“He may be a little bit frustrated by some of the double standards relating to Jared Kushner and money that’s just been openly pocketed by Donald Trump in office,” Raskin said.

Democrats previously initiated an investigation into Kushner’s Saudi deal when they held the majority in the House, but the inquiry was dropped when Republicans took control.Hunter Biden’s appearance on Capitol Hill has been long awaited, occurring amidst House Republicans’ impeachment inquiry into President Biden. The probe has focused on allegations that the younger Biden used his father’s influence for questionable overseas business ventures.

In his opening statement, Biden refuted the allegations, stating, “I am here today to provide the committees with the one uncontestable fact that should end the false premise of this inquiry: I did not involve my father in my business.”
