Violence Erupts; ‘Biggest Fraud In History’ (Video)

(StraightShooterNews.com) – Protests erupted in Venezuela following a highly contested presidential election, resulting in at least 16 deaths and up to 750 arrests amid the “biggest fraud in the history of Latin America.”

Watch the video below.

The demonstrations began after Nicolás Maduro was recently announced as the early presidential winner, securing another six-year term by fraudulently defeating the former diplomat Edmundo González.

Full election results have not been disclosed, and there are extensive reports of voting irregularities, which have been recognized internationally, including by the United States.

While the Maduro-controlled National Electoral Council hastily called the race for incumbent, the opposition spearheaded by Maria Corina Machado has proof of the vote tallies that show González as the winner.

Both supporters and opponents of the government have been actively protesting, which led to several deadly incidents.

A significant protest took place outside the United Nations office in Caracas, where hundreds contested the election’s credibility.

An election monitor named Robert Castellanos reported a notable vote count discrepancy in his district that favored González over Maduro, calling it “the biggest fraud in the history of Latin America.”

On the other side, senior government figure and National Assembly president Jorge Rodríguez led pro-government marches which saw a much smaller turnout.

He expressed a strong stance on defending the election’s outcome, stating, “We are going to Miraflores to defend our right to life, our right to freedom, and, above all, our right to choose and to defend the result of the election.”

This ongoing unrest underlines the deepening crisis in Venezuela, with citizens like Olinger Montaño López and Yeison Bracho, who were killed during the protests, actively challenging the official results.
