Former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had a rough time during her two years working for the Biden administration.
She fumbled her way through her press conferences as she dodged questions and read from a binder.
Karine Jean-Pierre recently emerged from hiding to deliver a talk to the Harvard Kennedy School Institute of Politics about her tenure in the Biden administration.
A student asked Jean-Pierre what “was particularly challenging about the three week period between the debate against President Trump that President Biden had, and when he dropped out, one particularly challenging moment, or if you think that the President should have dropped out earlier, or if you think that he should have ran at all?”
The student was referring to the way Democrats treated Joe Biden after he put his senility on full display in the debate against Donald Trump.
Top Democrats and the media spent the next three weeks attacking and smearing Biden in an effort to force him out of the race, which eventually succeeded.
Unlike during her time as Press Secretary, Jean-Pierre didn’t dance around the question or read from a binder.
She started by claiming that Joe Biden prevented the red wave from materializing in the 2022 Midterms and that is why she supported his decision to seek a second term.
But then Jean-Pierre opened up about the nasty way Democrat officials treated Joe Biden after his horrendous debate performance.
“I think what was the toughest thing to see in the three weeks was there was a disconnect from me what was happening with leadership in the Democratic Party, and how it was truly, as my former colleague, Communications Director Ben LaBolt said, it was a firing squad,” Jean-Pierre said. “I had never seen anything like it before, I had never seen a party do that in the way that they did, and it was hurtful and sad to see that happening — a firing squad around a person who I believe was a true patriot, a person who I believe did everything that he can for this country, a person who I believe, as I mentioned before, has done more in his one term than most presidents had done in two terms, historical things.”
“And I was shocked by what I was seeing,” she added.
The moderator chimed in to make sure Jean-Pierre was talking about the “other Democrats in Democratic leadership” who came out against Joe Biden after the debate.
Jean-Pierre confirmed that she was indeed calling out her fellow Democrats.
“I had never seen anything like that,” she said. “That was, if you’re asking me, the thing that I saw in those three weeks, that was shocking, shocking, and instead of coming together to really be unified and trying to figure out how do we save our democracy, how do we fight back, that’s what I was seeing, and that’s what we decided to do for three weeks, and it was truly, truly unfortunate, and I think it hurt us more than I think folks realized to have done that.”
Of course, Jean-Pierre should look in the mirror before she starts criticizing others about Joe Biden.
Biden selected her as Press Secretary in May of 2022 after Jen Psaki left for a role at MSNBC.
Jean-Pierre served the remainder of Biden’s term as Press Secretary.
As Press Secretary, Jean-Pierre would have certainly known Joe Biden was suffering from severely declining mental faculties.
But she covered it up and helped hide his senility from the American people.
She even brushed off videos showing Joe Biden’s cognitive decline as nothing more than “cheap fakes” that were “done in bad faith.”
“Instead of talking about the President’s performance in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative wins, what he’s been able to do for the American people across the country, we’re seeing these deep fakes, these manipulated videos, and it is again done in that faith,” she claimed at the time.
If Jean-Pierre had not covered up Biden’s condition, then he would have never been in the position to be humiliated on a debate stage for 90 minutes in front of the entire world.
Even though Jean-Pierre expressed her disappointment with Democrats, she refused to say who she views as the current leader of the Democrat Party.
She called Election Day “heartbreaking” and urged Democrats to fight Donald Trump.
“People are hurting, people are scared,” she said. “And it’s important that we show fight.”
Jean-Pierre was an embarrassment as Press Secretary.
Most former Press Secretaries go on to work at one of the corporate-controlled media networks.
But even the Democrats in the corporate-controlled media know Jean-Pierre is not an effective communicator.
