Previously Deported Illegal Shoots Man In Front Of His Child

A previously deported illegal alien has been charged with shooting a man in front of his seven-year-old daughter.

On March 11, 36-year-old Mexican illegal alien Jose Guadalupe Vazquez-Delgado shot a man while under the influence of alcohol at a home in Nashville, Tennessee’s Antioch neighborhood. The incident began when Vazquez-Delgado was drinking heavily inside the home, leading to an argument with the victim. Both men, along with the victim’s seven-year-old daughter, went outside during the argument.

After exiting the house, Vazquez-Delgado allegedly shot the victim multiple times in front of the daughter before fleeing the scene.

Because he fled the scene so quickly, Vazquez-Delgado left behind his Mexican passport, 14 shell casings, and his truck. The victim was able to receive life-saving medical care after being rushed to the emergency room. It is unclear at this time what condition the victim is in, how many times he was shot, or what types of injuries he suffered.

Vazquez-Delgado, who is confirmed to have been deported from the United States twice, is being charged with possession of ammunition by an illegal alien and unlawful reentry into the United States. The suspect faces up to 15 years in federal prison for the firearm charge and an additional two years for illegally reentering the country.

FBI Nashville Field Office Special Agent in Charge Joseph E. Carrico issued a statement about the arrest, which read: “Operations like this underscore the FBI’s commitment to working with our partners to keep dangerous people and weapons from infecting our communities. The FBI in Tennessee is committed to actively investigating and apprehending individuals wanted for federal violations and those unlawfully present in the United States and remains steadfast in its mission to uphold the Constitution.”

Vazquez-Delgado’s case is still being investigated by numerous agencies, including the FBI, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), FBI’s Nashville Field Office, and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The case will be prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ahmed A. Safeeullah and Joshua Kurtzman.

This news comes as the Trump administration is ramping up their raid and deportation efforts across the U.S., focusing primarily on violent criminal illegal aliens, traffickers, and sex offenders:
