“The View” cheered on one sick thing happening to Elon Musk

Outside of President Trump, there is no one the Left detests more than Elon Musk.
Democrats are quickly developing Musk Derangement Syndrome.
The View cheered on one sick thing happening to Elon Musk.
The audience at The View applauds idea of Elon Musk going broke
Left-wing terrorist militias are torching Teslas and stealing the tires off vehicles on car lots.
Sales in Europe plunged in the first months of 2025 – purchases of Tesla fell an average of 47 percent from January 2025 compared to January 2024 in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and Portugal.
Teslas used to be a status symbol for Democrats who loved to virtue signal about how much they cared about combating climate change by purchasing an electric car.
But now Democrats consider Tesla a symbol of Donald Trump’s win.
Elon Musk purchasing Twitter and ending the platform’s censorship protocols prevented the suppression of free speech that allowed Joe Biden to win in 2020.
Musk then becoming the face of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) only caused leftists to boil over with rage even more.
Democrats now want to see Elon Musk ruined.
ABC News’ chief business, technology, and economics correspondent, Rebecca Jarvis, brought the studio audience of The View to a standing ovation when she talked about the boycotts of Tesla bringing Musk to financial ruin.
“While all of this is happening with the economy and it’s hurting everyday people, the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, is taking a financial hit, which is why President Trump decided to buy a Tesla as a show of support. So I want to ask you, how much have boycotts roiled the company and how quickly can the brand recover from this kind of public souring?” co-host Sara Haines wondered.
Jarvis said Tesla lost $800 billion in market cap in recent months and Jarvis posited that if Tesla went down the tubes, it would wipe out Musk’s fortune.
“Certainly investors are asking that question, how quickly can it recover. That’s why you see this gigantic hit. The stock is down, it’s wiped out $800 billion in value. You have to also think about the fact that this is the majority of Elon Musk’s wealth. It is tied up in this company. So if this company goes away, so does his wealth,” Jarvis stated.
The audience cheered the idea of Musk slumming it in the poor house.
“That is so sad! Not!” a delighted Joy Behar squealed in delight.
But this drop in value for Tesla Jarvis mentioned was misleading.
Tesla stock is currently trading at around the $241 per share it was on Election Day.
The company’s stock surged 91 percent after the election as irrational investors thought Donald Trump would load up the company with government contracts.
When that didn’t happen, the stock price retreated.
Jarvis also theorized that the Tesla board could end Musk’s involvement with DOGE, giving him an ultimatum about his work to slash spending and shrink government was getting in the way of business.
“I think one of the big questions is what is his role at Tesla going forward?” Jarvis added, “Because that’s what his wealth is tied to, and you look at public filings, they said in the recent public filing the biggest risk to Tesla is how important Elon Musk is to Tesla. And investors, if they’ve lost enough money, they might say, come on back, you can’t spend your time at DOGE.”
Ever since Donald Trump won in 2016, the Left began developing ugly traits where they didn’t just want to see Trump defeated — they thirsted after destroying the lives of Trump and everyone who supported him.
That’s why Democrats spent eight years waging lawfare against Trump.
And it’s why a crowd would cheer the idea of someone losing their fortune.
