Wave Of Swatting Attacks On Conservatives Prompts FBI Action

As reported by Gateway Pundit, conservative commentator “Catturd” was among those targeted in recent days. The outlet stated that this was his fourth time being swatted, with the latest incident occurring overnight on March 13-14.
The Daily Mail provided details on Joe Pags, a conservative radio host who was swatted early on March 12. The report explained that armed police officers were dispatched to his home in response to a hoax emergency call. Pags later stated that he had spoken directly with Patel about the attacks.
According to The Post Millennial, conservative activist Shawn Farash was also among those recently swatted. The outlet suggested that doxing, the online exposure of personal information, has contributed to the frequency of these incidents by giving bad actors access to private addresses.
Patel’s statement emphasized the severity of the situation, stating that these crimes “will not be tolerated.” He also reassured the public that his team is committed to bringing those responsible to justice.
The FBI’s involvement signals a shift in focus on preventing swatting from becoming a widespread tactic against media figures. Investigators are looking into whether these incidents are connected.
For now, Patel has promised further updates, though no arrests have been reported.
